As depicted above, these are the two general uniform schemes of those in the employ of the Sovereign Navy. 'Scheme', is the key-word being applied in their descriptions, as their may be varieties in these uniforms for any number of reasons. Generally speaking, the enlisted's work-suit uniform/pilot's uniform does vary too often in it's appearance-scheme except in color. It is, however, an especially useful suit as it is very well insulated and temperature-regulated, along with it being slimline to prevent any loose pieces of clothing of being caught; a definitive, clear separation from their brothers in arms that fight on the ground. The placement of their rank insignia is promptly just above the heart. Although the image above depicts a pilot's helmet with only that of a visor, when inside the cockpit, the pilot typically utilizes a respirator, along with any other vital and tactical equipment on their chest and body. The Sovereign Naval Officer's appearance, however, has the possibility of varying greatly, as officer uniforms can appear in a wide variety of colors (black, grey, white, etc.) and are welcome to adorn any fashionable accessories that are at least thematically and professionally appropriate, such as a cloak, a cape, a greatcoat, or even a breastplate/tactical gear. The officer is decorated in whatever medals they possess, along with their rank prominently on display.

Strategic and Operational Organization of the Sovereign Navy
A8kuD34.png
At a galactic, strategic, and theatrical scale, the Sovereign Navy's allocation of resources and placement are largely divided up into "quadrants", firstly so to maintain the peace and stability of the union, as well as providing the clear and definitive hierarchical structure the navy requires at base-level whenever the naval assets of these "quadrants" aren't deployed. These, "quadrants", are better known as Sector Groups. Sector Groups are divided up in regards to their placement in the Sovereignty at a galactic-scale (North, West, South, etc.). Sector Groups are headed by an Admiral. Overarching all of these Sector Groups in authority and strategic direction is the Lord Admiral, Zedd Harkor. The existing Sector Groups, along with their planets under their jurisdiction, are, as follows:
Sector Group North:
Admiral NPC
- Kubindi
- Fswillving

Sector Group South:
Admiral NPC
- Eadu

Sector Group West:
Admiral NPC
- Orenda

Sector Group East:
Admiral [member="Caine D. Slarr"]
- Formos

Even further, Sector Groups are to be divided even further. This further division and departmentalization of groups, are known as Fleets. There may be a short number of fleets in a Sector Group (3, at most). Fleets are headed by a Vice Admiral, and in some rare cases, even a rear admiral. This would be unusual, as most rear admirals are assigned to command System Forces (A naval group which occupies a solar system), which may be called upon to merge with a fleet, or even assault another system; they're not used to exclusively police systems as the name suggests. Down even further, Fleets or System Groups may even divide their ships down even further, doing so into Squadrons. Squadrons are commanded by a commodore, and are usually only a couple of capitol-sized ships. The division and jurisdiction of ships usually end there, although, a Captain (which are known to take up command of a sole, large ship, such as a star destroyer), may be assigned to lead a small task group of smaller ships (Maybe a cruiser, frigates, corvettes, etc.)
For operation-intensive purposes, not always are fleets, system forces, and squadrons divided up as they are for an operation. This is because the jurisdiction of command may become cluttered and unclear, in the event that a multitude of admirals, vice admirals, rear admirals, or commodores are involved. The responsibility of command staff thereby becomes confusing, and then further so inefficient. In this case, where there are many high command staff involved or any other reason, Task Forces are created, to see through the completion of specific task, and vary wildly in size and whom they're commanded by, along so with any of the roles of any other subordinate command staff. After Task Forces, Task Groups may be assigned; Task Groups are subordinate to Task Forces.

Departments of the Sovereign Navy
A8kuD34.png
Behind all of the fun and action are those that must see to the more mundane tasks of maintaining the navy, such as the enactment of formal strategy, policy, procedure, intelligence, manpower, logistics, engineering, medication, and ensuring that the Navy is engaging in security and warfare practices that're of up-to-date fashion. Departments are headed by admirals. Admirals are known to wear two different hats, one of which is their sector group-lead hat, the other is their department head hat. There are several departments, they are, as follows:

Department of the Navy:
Lord Admiral Zedd Harkor
The department of the Navy is responsible for the overarching strategic direction of all departments, and ensuring that all departments are operating in an efficient manner as their behavior pertains to the navy's strategic goals.

Department of Naval Operations:
Admiral NPC
The Department of Naval Operations is responsible for the strategic implementation and execution of both defensive and offensive formal strategies and operational methods. The departmentalized obtainment of intelligence and data is also included in the Department of Naval Operations, which thereby includes the nefarious Office of Naval Intelligence. Most Naval personnel are assigned under the Department of Naval Operations.

Department of the Marine Corps:
tba rank NPC
As the name suggests, the Department of the Marine Corps possesses it's own department, due to the many differences between regulating a naval staff and a marine corps staff. The department of the Marine Corps is responsible for the configurement of maintaining a planetary presence, ship boarding methodologies, and the safety and security of personnel aboard Sovereign Naval ships. AECO, is included in the Department of the Marine Corps.

Department of Logistics, Manpower, & Upkeep:
Admiral [member="Caine D. Slarr"]
The Department of logistics, Manpower, & Upkeep is responsible for the upkeep and general welfare of the navy and it's personnel. This includes medical concerns, legal issues, providing the necessary equipment and technology for both personnel and ships, maintenance of ships and orbital stations, training personnel, contracting of mercenary-personnel, and many other nitty-gritty responsibilities.

Department of Naval Engineering & Contracting:
Admiral NPC
The Department of Naval Engineering & Contracting is responsible for the research, testing, implementation, and contracting of new technologies, weapons, and warships within the Sovereign Navy. If a private company is saught after to develop a new technology, weapon, or warship, they fall under the Department of Naval Engineering & Contracting. Such was the case when Barabian Systems was contracted to develop and manufacture the Obtruder-class Medium Cruiser.
