Let's Have a Little Fun
No image. It's brown fragments of a scroll. Sadly, couldn't get any iamges online that weren't the Dead Sea Scrolls.
Intent: Event Tech for the “Litany of Dadios” Eevent I have in mind.
Development Thread: Will do so upon request.
Manufacturer: Darth Dadios
Model: The 113th Litany of the grand Chorus of the Sith.
Affiliation: Originally Darth Dadios, now it goes to whichever madman can find the pieces.
Modularity:
It’s made of five disparate words, in differing numbers, torn and scattered. All must be assembled to make it complete. They represent the Five Dark harbinger’s of Dadios’ will, the “Youths of the Fallen Roads”:
Ephrai—2 pieces, both to commemorate Ephrai Littrell, who led the band with sage-like wisdom and cool, calculated risks.
Rog-yurr—2 fragments, both acknowledging Doro Rog-Yur, whose devotion and wealth empowered the group’s influence in many circles.
Bodai—4 pieces, to commemorate Bodai Ayjay, who’s charm allowed them enter unopposed into many wars.
Ra-Ite—Only one piece exists, it acknowledges Nivek Ra-ite, the Wanderer. Though he left and returned many times, his mercurial flexibility was of great use to the five.
Yaaaauuuh: Repeated 2 times in the litany, This howling bit is a choral part, written to embrace Yauh’Nik the Savage, and his hunger.
These eleven pieces make up the whole of the litany.
Production: (The scale is Unique, Semi-Unique, Limited, Minor, Mass-Produced. More powerful submissions are more likely to be approved the fewer of them there are. There are no numbers associated with these.)
Material: Vellum soaked in the blood of a Sith Sorceror for three lunar rotations.
Description:
Darth Dadios was a twisted man, a powerful man, and a gifted Sith Sorceror. His specialty was summoning, taming, and even altering the nature of various Sithspawn. Although his “unflappable” ally, Sugar was arguably his greatest success, his other accomplishment was simple: The Five Harbingers.
Raised from orphans acquired from various worlds around the Galaxy, Darth dadios warped and twisted each of them, combining various essences and mutations. Vornskr Hounds and Hutts alike were dissected and used as experimental dietary and trafused sustenance for the poor children. Of the Twenty misspent, five survived. Dadios used the five as his personal agents, twisting their souls into a symbiotic relationship. Whereas Sugar roamed free, each Harbinger had a piece of himself within the blood of Dadios, and he did so in turn, controlling them and tying their fates together.
The Harbingers, Dadios and all but Sugar himself met their end after the Sith Lord was betrayed by Zoot, and killed by an alliance between the man and several Jedi. Dadios, however, created on last spell as he had forseen his end coming.
The spell bound the twisted, devoted souls of the five to a sacred rite expressing their power. Dadios was cut down while preparing the final inscription, shattering it as he himself fell into disparate nothing, hit by a powerful disruptor blast.
The spell, burst, fragmenting and twisting into pieces. Each scrip is long enough to be wrapped around a wrist or finger, and seems to change its size to suit the wielder if need be.
The Fragments of Ephrai would give a mighty presence and great courage, but a desire to wield power tyrannically. The fragments of Rog-yurr would grant a knack for gaining material wealth, but a desire to sacrifice others while doing so.
The scrip of Bodai brought forceful charm and charisma to he who would wear it—but the lingering paranoia and deceptiveness whispered into its wearer’s mind, making him weave a web that would often trap himself therein. The Scrip of Ra-Ite would allow one to survive through brilliant cunning, and deliver solutions, but they would often include the betrayals of the wearer’s beloved.
The Scrip of Yauh would strengthen the body, and allow the opponent the power of true rage in battle. However, the bloodlust would turn to hunger, and devouring the fallen was the only way to placate it, be they friend or foe.
These scrips seek one another, for they wish to be reunited again, for the ritual to be carried to completion again. If all assembled, they will finish the ritual, but its true meaning and intent are lost to history. If destroyed, they appear again, taking as little as a week to reform. Only as one whole than the rite be undone, only as one whole can the rite be completed.
As to what occurs when the rite is finished, it is presumed some great power will be bestowed upon the caster, as Dadios intended for himself, presumably.
