• Mortality: While one's strength, reflexes, and pain threshold are heightened due to the Chain's boon, the wearer is still very much mortal and is susceptible to wounds.

DESCRIPTION

The Force is With Me.

In the modern Galaxy, the most prevalent belief is that the Force is synonymous with a blaster or sword. That it is a tool to be mastered, controlled, and wielded to accomplish the aims of the user. However, millennia ago, there existed a sect of warriors who saw things immensely different. They stood as protectors of the secrets of Jedha and believed that they were one with the Force - and by extension, the Force was with them. Unfortunately, even before the Four Hundred Year Darkness, the culture promoted by the Guardians of the Whills was effectively wiped clean from the face of the Galaxy. Now, only relics and whispers remain of the ancient order.

When a youngling entered into the culture of the Guardians, it was said that they were gifted a chain of seemingly unremarkable beads. They were to meditate upon the truth of their mantra throughout their training, and use the beads as a reminder that the Force was with them. In time, the youngling would grow to not need the beads to remind them, for they would truly believe and thereby grow into a full-fledged Guardian. In the modern era, one such chain of beads was recovered via unknown means and cast adrift through trade and theft. The meditations which had taken place over the beads resulted in those truths becoming evident within each wooden vessel.

In essence, the Force is with the Malbus Chain. Whosoever dons this reminder of eons past and opens themselves to the possibilities will find themselves aided by the mightiest of allies. Will you prove yourself to see things differently?
