- Unit Name: Red War
- Affiliation: The Dread Ascendancy
- Classification: Mobilized Terror Infantry
- Description: Comprised of the Dread Ascendancy's Non-Force Users and units of Helgardi, the Marauders Infantry are the main fighting force of the Dread Ascendancy, fighting with utmost loyalty to their Sith overlords and to work their way into positions of ultimate power.
- Unit Size: Large
- Unit Availability: Uncommon
- Unit Experience: Trained
- Equipment: While many in the Marauders choose to stick to the traditional style of weaponry and equipment in their arsenal (much to the chagrin of their leader), many more choose to incorporate their new technology for increased lethality. Several of their weapons, in fact, are not of their design and are of common use in the Galaxy, showcasing an increased openness towards other cultures.

- Combat Function: Created to invoke fear in their foes, the Marauders have been trained to slaughter innocents with laughing glee and annihilate opposing armies with frightening intensity. They are the Dread Autarch's first-line combatants, entirely willing and capable of culling entire planets should those in charge deem it fit. This has given them an edge in combat as their foes will often know immediately that hostages and mercy is not an option where it otherwise would be.

- Notable Battalions: The following is not a complete list of all battalions in the Marauders infantry.
- Organization:
- Specialized Tactics: The Marauders prides themselves on their ability to conduct a number of tactics to destroy their enemies in combat. The following is an incomplete list of the tactics reported by survivors of their attacks-
- Extensive Use of Heavy Weaponry | Extensive Use of Flame Weaponry
- Attrition Warfare | High-Intensity Warfare | Rapid Deployment Warfare | Guerrilla Warfare | Mountain Warfare | Underground Warfare
- Line Breaker Assaults | Scorched Earth Protocols | Terror Operations
- Unshakeable Unity: The strongest factor of the Marauders is their unity to one another. They will always fight for the mutual goal rather than for their own individual ones and are almost impossible to be swayed by outside forces. Wholeheartedly believing that victory for the Marauders brings victory for the Dread Ascendancy as a whole. It has also become common sentiment amongst those that encounter the Marauders infantry that its members possess the combined strength similar to the Dashade legions of the Old Sith. With this collective strength, the Marauders are expert line breakers and bulwark reinforcers, capable of withstanding wave after wave of assaults from their enemies and never balking under the pressure of opposing power.
- Collective Adaptability: In spite of their penchant for shows of strength, the Marauders infantry are more than capable of adapting to their situation in combat and the size of their deployed units. This includes feigned retreats, mass charges, stealth tactics, terror tactics, and so on.
- Lack of Land Vehicles: Despite their ability as bulwark enforcers and line breakers, as a strictly infantry based unit, the Marauders infantry lack the land vehicles the other units in the army as a whole utilize. This puts them at a distinct disadvantage if engaging an enemy that uses such vehicles alone, a great bit of chagrin for the unit.
- Lack of Ships: This goes the same for aerial vehicles, which can force this unit onto a highly disadvantageous position, especially if also engaging armored units at the same time.
[ Include a description of the unit’s history here. How they were formed and by whom, past noteworthy battles, moral affecting defeats, where they are stationed if applicable, etc. ]
