Soaring through the open skies, just entering the atmosphere of the home planet of the illustrious Faye Malvern, Minister of Influence in the Confederacy, Black looked outside, occasionally looking back at himself to see if he looked alright. He had already told Malvern ahead of time about this meeting, so he would have to look upstart himself if he wanted to impress this individual.

To Savent, being a Viceroy of an illustrious planet like Maramere was worry enough, especially considering the newfound weight on his shoulders, the pressure of being in charge of a potential power. But this occasion was very different. For by doing this he could potentially learn more than he could've ever learned by his family, or any of the thousands of history books he had read during his lifetime, mostly about the ancient stories of the galaxy.

Of course, him reading these books would also bring up an event, countless in the history of this galaxy, that always made him doubt his, and maybe the whole Confederacy's legitimate role as a sovereign-government supporter.

The Clone Wars

The mention of that time period always sent shivers down his spine, especially regarding the Confederacy's role during that war. Endless genocides, cowardly leaders only in it for wealth, but most of all, the influence of the Sith. All of those events connected to the horror of that war, the true event that forever engrained the Confederacy's role in history as nothing more than villains.

And yet, this wasn't the Confederacy. Or at least, not what it is now.

To him, there is a new Confederacy, one that supports ideals important to all sovereign governments and civilizations. And he hoped that that ideal would stand...

As soon as his mind kept racing with these anxious thoughts, the M143 landed with smoothly on the ground, as the escort team moved into Blacks room in the Cruiser.

"Sir, we have arrived. Mind if we help you inside?"

"No thank you, that's quite alright", said Salvent, "I would politely request to have two of our MagnaGuards escort me to Malvern, but nothing more."

The man nodded as the MagnaGuards were mobilized, only two of them. Salvent brushed his robe as his eyes turned blue, giving him a welcoming gaze. He stepped out of the ship as the MagnaGuards stood by his side, their staffs clanking together occasionally with the sound of the marching.

As Salvent was ready to see Malvern, he quickly thought to himself, but it was too late. Now, was the time to meet THE Faye Malvern, an important member in this new Confederacy...

It was rare that her business on Naboo, formally Geonosis, and her duties on Eiattu VI crossed. Unfortunately for the man that had asked for the meeting, Faye had been looking forward to her holiday for some months. The disasters that followed with the wars that had recently raged across confederate space had left her exceedingly busy, and this was the only time she and Alden had found the time to visit home. Together. Although she had made a promise to herself that she would not leave Eiattu VI, she had also promised the Vicelord that she would still continue her work in any capacity she could. So, when the message from the Viceroy of Maramere, Savant Black, came through, Faye accepted it. Albeit a little begrudgingly.
The content of the message was mysterious, to say the least, leaving Faye mostly guessing as to his reasons for the visit, but no matter. She was used to working with half-truths. Such was the life of a politician.
“My Lady.” Faye drew her gaze from the window, a natural smile on her face as she found the source of the voice. “Your guest has arrived.” Ebony curls shifted softly as she nodded her head in response. “Very well, will you show him into my office, please?” The footman, as expected, bowed and turned to do her bidding. Faye still found it to be an exceedingly strange experience. She had been a Lady back on Serenno, but a young one. A child. Too immature and unaware to recognize the weight and responsibility that came with the title. She wasn’t even a Queen yet, not by half, but the restrictions and formalities still applied.
At least this was what she had always been destined for, so there had been plenty of time to prepare. She always imagined Adron would have eventually found some noble on Illyria to marry her off too, or perhaps even a different planet altogether. Faye would have done it too. Unquestioningly, but fortunately for her, love had found her first. It just so happened to be with a man who was King in his own right. At least she’d had practice.
The doors to her offices swung open as she approached them. The moment she crossed the threshold, Faye the royal disappeared. She was not needed for this meeting. Instead, it was the minister of influence that was called upon, and she was there to answer.

As Faye Malvern herself entered the room, Savant Black looked up at her, and was graced by her beauty. Such a face he had never seen before... beautiful, elegant, formal...it's nature belonging to a woman of such fairness. Immediately, he began bowing, not as just a formality, but also as a compliment.

And yet, at this moment, he contrasted her face from his. He sported long white hair, with cybernetic metal streamed across his face, a blue glow replacing his left eye. His dress constituted that of a black and red overcoat, something that he had told the tailor would off-put the minister.
"No!" he remembered saying, "Do you see these colors? They sport those of the Sith, those scoundrels. I demand you change it at once!". Unfortunately for him, it was a last-minute decision to sport these colors. He viewed them with great disgust, however...

Ever since he had read up on the ancient tales of the Clone Wars, he had despised the Sith and their ruthless cunning. They were the ones to ruin so many lives. They were the ones who changed the Republic to an Empire. And it was them...that used the old confederacy as mere puppets of their plan, only for them to be eradicated on Mustafar by a certain...Anakin Skywalker. A name he had grown to despise.

Yes, the leaders had died on that day. But the people, the dream of independence...That never died.

As he took himself back into the present moment, he stood up from his bow and began speaking"

"Minister Malvern, I am glad to have met you this fine evening. Yet, I am even more graced by the formality by which you appear in. I do hope our meeting to be beneficial."
