The Merc Groups

OmegaPyre. The Red Talons. The Corellian Eclipse.

These are going to be the three mercenary groups going forward that will serve as the main focus of the faction. I'll let Corek and Terana talk about their groups. Each group will have something that they specialize in, though nothing prevents another group from performing that same task. I'll be talking about the Corellian Eclipse.

The Corellian Eclipse were founded six years ago by Ayden, though he never led them in person. Letting his second-in-command run the company, the aim of the Eclipse was originally to operate as Corellia's primary security force on the ground. To that end, they operated closely with CorSec, conducting raids on suspected crime cartels. By the time Corellia formally joined the Protectorate, they were the sole paramilitary presence on the planet.

When Omni and his droid forces laid siege to the Corellian system, it was Eclipse forces that proved vital in fending off the terrible droid invasion. Operating in small fire teams, they conducted repeated raids and operations on the orbital ring and various shipyards and stations. Though causalities were high, they learned vital lessons in space ops.

After months of recruiting and rebuilding their forces, the Corellian Eclipse are ready to being selling their zero-G and space ops expertise.

The Omega Pyre was originally founded by the enigmatic @[member="Cira"] many years ago. But now it is lead by former Republic Commando Noah Corek and a group of selected junior officers. The Omega Pyre has no set specialization and it has many companies that have different specializations that allow for them to be hired on a more varied amount of jobs.

The Pyre is comprised of five battalions of 500 soldiers,making the force of the Pyre number 2,500 soldiers. But recently,instead of relying on the ODF,Corek has been creating three armored battalions to provide the Pyre with armor that is available without the need the ODF,allowing the Pyre to become a completely independent unit,away from the Protectorate.

Recently Noah has been recruiting vast numbers of people,it show and indication that he is planning on increasing the Pyre's power more by increasing its five infantry battalions to seven.
