​At a glance, a M'gaelak is a massive being. A slow, methodical and peaceful creature that shudders the ground they walk on with every step.

• Distinctions:

​The M'gaelak are hulking crab-like creatures with six individual massive legs, three on either side. Massive stilt like legs that extend from its incredibly large crowned shell of a body. Four to six long tentacle-like mandibles extend from its face, capable of absorbing nutrients or removing things from their path. These are majestic yet equally terrifying sights to behold.

Strengths:

• Root and Stem: While slow and typically harmless, a M'gaelak when feeling threatened will rip anything between trees and small buildings out of the ground and hurdle them at anything they perceive as a threat. However, this requires considerable wind-up.
• Zoidberg Effect: These creatures have an incredibly tough hide, making anything bar a literally bombardment of high-explosive weaponry a waste of everyone's time involved.

Weaknesses:

• Slow: These creatures are carrying several hundred megatons worth of flesh, muscle and shell on their bodies. These creatures are incredibly slow, able to be out-ran by even the smallest of land-vehicles.
• Thunder-thighs: You can hear them coming for miles, their every step shakes the ground for a miles. There's no sneaking with these things.
• Massive Target: You'd have to be a half-dead blind Stormtrooper with no fingers to miss this thing.
• Senses: The M'gaelak only sees with its tentacle-like mandibles, the hollowed black shapes on the front of its crown are an evolutionary trick. It's senses are solely smell and audio.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION:
​The M'gaelak have no previously recorded records outside of their first discovery by Bryn'adûl scavengers in 855ABY. The Bryn'adûl soldiers had landed their ships inside the pathway of the M'gaelak, however they only discovered this days later, when the M'gaelak tore their dropships apart like paper.

When the beacon was discovered, the Bryn'adûl arrived to find that the Shaman that had went with the Bryn'adûl scavengers had spent several months attempting to tame the M'gaelak - seeing a great deal of use for the sub-sentient creatures. Further attempts continue.

The M'gaelak currently live peacefully in their naturally inhabited worlds, with some now inside of Bryn'adûl test labs, studied for use.
