Yuri squeezed the trigger of his fighter, his crosshairs locked onto the ship ahead of him. His sources told him that a Jedi was on this ship, and he knew the source was reliable. The fighter's cannons barked with crimson bolts lighting up the void. He still had his reservations about going into war to fight them, but putting his bounty hunting skills to good use was no issue for him. Plus, if he could bring the lightsabers in, he could even make some money on this little revenge project of his.

Banking hard to place his guns ahead of the ship, he fired once more with what seemed like a decent score on his target. Best case scenario, he could blow them up and pick through the wreckage. But if he had to pursue them to the nearby planet, that was also fine. He just wished he had Baby on this ride. Sadly the old droid was complaining a lot about wanting a service, so he let some friends take care of the Basilisk on this ride. For now, he was stuck with his old and trusted Xandu-class. It would do the job, though, the shuttle ahead of him wouldn't be able to hold out for long against the barrage.

The missile lock whine screamed in the cockpit, an opportunity Yuri didn't let slip by as he depressed the button and launched a concussion missile at the shuttle. An explosion erupted along with a trail from the shuttle's engines. His scanners indicated that he hit their stabilizers. "What's gonna happen now, huh?" He muttered to himself. In the back of his mind, he hoped that the shuttle ran for the planet. A face to face smackdown could be fun.

"Chit," Vera cursed when the shuttle took another hit. Even if she had been in a fighter, she doubted that she could have taken this attacker out — she was no fighter pilot. But in a shuttle with very little weapons and maneuverability? There was no chance at all, and as soon as she realized it, Vera took her ship into a steep nose dive for the planet. Dagobah was not friendly terrain, but having been on New Cov with Mom countless times, Vera was extremely skilled at surviving in harsh environments.

Perhaps she could lose her attacker here, or even lure them into a trap.

<This is Padawan Vera Noble, I'm going down on Dagobah,> she transmitted on a secured Jedi Channel she knew no other person could tap into, <I have one attacker following me and require assistance.> Even if she took this hunter out, she wasn't going to make it off-world on her own.

It'd be far too dangerous, considering its location within Sith territory.

Soon, another hit — a missile — caused the whole ship to nearly shake itself apart. Vera clenched her jaw, tightened her grip on her controls, and managed to pull up the nose of her shuttle right before it plunged into the swamp.

Like a hound sprinting after their prey, Yuri tailed the downed shuttle into the atmosphere of the strange planet. According to his scanners, the planet was called Dagobah. Backwater covered by one perpetual swamp and a variety of barely documented creatures. The amount of jokes he had would not exactly befit the current situation.

The fighter slowed to a hover overhead until it touched down on a nearby opening of solid ground, allowing the Shistavanen to hop out with a pistol drawn. He flicked through his vision modes to scan the shuttle for any survivors. The occupant inside managed to survive the crash. With a huff, he leaned against his fighter with arms crossed, waiting for the survivor to emerge. In an effort to kill some time, Yuri clipped his helmet to his belt and pulled a cigarette from a pouch. With a light from his flamethrower, he gave a few puffs and blew the smoke up, calmly studying the state of the shuttle. All things considered, he had to admit that those Alliance shuttles were pretty damn sturdy.

When some movement finally came from the shuttle, A toothy grin spread along his features. "Well then, nice of ya to be droppin' like this. Hope you're not too swamped." He quipped, unable to stifle a snicker at his own terrible joke. The figure that emerged, however, wiped the grin off his face. His cigarette dropped and his eyes widened, before he let out a groan. "Oh, kriff..." He muttered. Whatever plans he had came to a severe, screeching halt in an instant.

"Hey, Vera." He spoke up with a cold voice as a frown crept in. His pistol idly tapped against his thigh as he lit another cigarette. Why was it her? Why the hell did it have to be her? It could have been any other poor schutta in the galaxy, but it had to be the one person he couldn't bring himself to hate.

"Ya really stepped in the muck this time."
