Public The musings of duality

In the bustling streets of Coruscant, a striking figure navigated through the throngs of people. The alien was a Feeorin, his skin a deep crimson hue that set him apart from the myriad species around him. Etched into his flesh were archaic Sith tattoos, dark lines and curves that spoke of ancient traditions and power, their intricate designs snaking across his face and hands, hinting at a potential zealous past. The Feeorin moved with purpose, his elegant robe flowing with each step. The robe was a rich blend of red and white, adorned with intricate gold trim that caught the light of the city and shimmered as he walked. The fabric was fine, suggesting both wealth and a certain reverence for tradition, draping his tall, muscular frame in a manner that suited his form perfectly.

He weaved through the crowded streets, his presence creating a ripple as people instinctively made way for him, drawn by a combination of curiosity and the subtle aura of authority he exuded. The din of conversations, the hum of speeders, and the myriad sounds of the city seemed to fade slightly in his wake, as if the very air acknowledged his significance. In his thoughts he mouthed words but the crowds around him seemed to understand without listening.

Make way. Yes, Make a way for me.

At the corner of a busy intersection, he stopped. This was his chosen spot, a nexus of pedestrian traffic where his voice would carry far. With a fluid motion, he set up a small, ornate stand, its design echoing the motifs of his tattoos. He arranged a few ancient-looking scrolls and artifacts on it, each item meticulously placed to draw the eye and provoke intrigue. The Feeorin stood tall behind the stand, his piercing eyes scanning the crowd. He waited, poised and patient, for the right moment to speak. As the flow of people continued, a subtle change occurred. Individuals began to slow, their gazes drawn to him, their steps faltering as they sensed the gravity of his presence. Whispers spread like wildfire, and soon a small crowd gathered, eager to hear what this alien figure had to say. They came from all walks of life and profession. Beggars, security, Coruscanti police officers, padawans, cooks, minor political figures and so much more.

Finally with a voice that boomed preternaturally through the intersection he began.

"Hear thee! Citizens of Coruscant, gather around and hear! I bring a message that pierces through the deception spun by the New Jedi Order and the many renditions of the Sith, those who claim to be the ultimate arbiters of the Force. Listen well, for the truth I speak is one that the Galactic Alliance and the Empires that be do not want you to hear! The Jedi preach their code of peace, serenity, and selflessness. They claim to be the guardians of justice, wielding the Light Side of the Force to protect and serve. But look deeper, my friends! The Jedi, in their ivory towers and grand temples, have become pawns in the political games of the Galactic Alliance....Or their own Galactic alliance have become pawns of the Jedi. In either case their noble ideals are twisted into tools of control, their knights turned into soldiers to enforce subjective rulings and their padawans indoctrinated to serve not the state or its people or dare even I say the individual. They are mentally grown like clones to be further used.

And what of the Sith? They exalt power, passion, and ambition. They claim to embrace the true nature of the Force, to harness its full potential without restraint. They do so through the emotional spectrum that is natural to us all. But do not be fooled! The Sith, too, are manipulated, their strength exploited to fuel the ambitions of empires, warlords and Dark Lords. A pity that there is, what feels like, A plethora of Dark Lords in our current era. Their dark power is a weapon in the hands of those who seek domination, their teachings perverted into a doctrine of tyranny.

The Force, my friends, is not owned by the Jedi or the Sith! It is not a weapon to be wielded in service of political agendas. The Light and the Dark, the peace and the passion, they are not opposing forces but parts of a greater whole. The Force is a living entity, encompassing all aspects of existence. The Jedi and the Sith seek to divide it, to claim its polarities as their own, but in truth, they only perpetuate a cycle of conflict and war. A cycle that the galaxy itself is not safe from. That you all are not safe from.

Is possible to be a Jedi and fall to the Dark Side? How many Jedi have we seen, corrupted by their own fear, anger, and hatred? How many have turned their lightsabers on those they once swore to protect? The path of the Jedi is fraught with the peril of self-righteousness, of a blindness to their own flaws and failings. And it is possible to be Sith and walk in the Light? To use passion, ambition, and power not for selfish gain but for the greater good? To channel the strength of the Light and utilize the tenets of Sith tradition to bring justice, to protect the innocent, to create order out of chaos. The path of the Sith need not lead to darkness, but can be a journey towards balance and harmony. What do you, if any, have to say to this?!"

Zarus was just wandering about on Corusant with nothing particular to do. He had his cloak's hood up, but in the bustling city, he was hardly anything of note. But then, he stopped in his tracks as he saw a small crowd gathering around a stall. He made his way through to the front where he then saw a crimson Feeorin. Zarus listened to his words with both intrigue, yet slight disappointment on his face. When the speaker asked if any have something to say, he decided I should share his own view with the speaker.

"You are correct on the point that the Jedi and Sith are both wrong in their beliefs and actions, but even then: you are wrong yourself. The force is not something to be used for other people's sake, it is a tool to be used by those who wield it to do as they please."

" Elaborate your belief of the force. For the minds of the crowds around us and for myself, please explain more." Skodd stepped down from the podium and embraced the crowds around it. A symbolic gesture the he was no different than everyone else around him. Now he was on a level playing field, he believed he was in a better place to understand a new perspective.

Zarus gave a small smile to the man in front of him. He hoped up on a nearby step, for the purpose of letting the crowd know who was talking.

"Very well, good sir. The Force, as you said, is not something the Jedi and the Sith have understood properly. One uses the... defensive aspects of it to protect others. The other, uses the more offensive side to attain nothing but power, at the expense of their own wants. The Sith can say they want power, but for a purpose they give to themselves so they can feel accomplished. The Jedi can say they defend others using the Force, yet they are far too passive and don't actively try to change what they claim they wish to keep safe. But, I see the Force as a tool, like I said. It is a tool to be used by those who possess it to do as they please. Those with the Force shouldn't limit themselves with morals like the Jedi, nor self-deceiving codes like the Sith. Those with the Force should use it how they want, when they want, to fulfil nothing but their own desires and instincts. They should act unbothered by others perceptions and opinions."

He spoke with absolute certainty. He saw his philosophy as right, that's all he needed. He did not care for good and evil; he did not care if others saw him as a monster. He saw himself as right, and that's how he'd live.

"Any further questions on my view, good sir?"
