Strengths:
- Holographic HUD: The suit featured a helmet which provided a Holographic HUD system that monitored his armour, vitals, and could interface with various weapons to provide ammo readouts. It worked in conjunction with sensors built into the armour to warn of incoming attacks outside of Troy's line of sight.
- Quick Release Maglocks: The suit featured a number of maglock points to which weapons and smaller knives/throwing blades could be attached and quickly released from for use.
- Limited Kinetic Resistance: Due to the nature of Cortosis, repeated kinetic strikes to the area's containing the material could render its protection useless.
- Limited Coverage: The Myrmidon does not cover every inch of Troy’s body, leaving his thighs and upper armours vulnerable to attacks when the Apis Combat Shield is no longer in use.
As a part of his work with The Golden Company, Troy was able to purchase and acquire a number of rare materials which he used to construct himself a set of armour. Thus was born The Myrmidon, a set of armour that provided coverage while also providing a freedom of movement that better suited Troy’s preferred fighting style and work. While it did provide a number of exposed sections of skin, Troy made up for this with the use of the Apis Shield and being far more nimble in combat situations.
Due to his varied armoury of weapons, Troy made sure to include a series of quick release maglocks which could be used to secure weapons to his body, but release them for use at a moments notice. His helmet meanwhile, provided protection against attacks and also contained a holographic HUD system to display information and vital details during combat operations.
