[member="Lily Kirsche Kuhn"]

It ain’t ever easy to go back to the beginning.

Ya get reminded of all the things that you got wrong at first, the things you simply didn’t know anything about and the people you had to leave behind because of it. Ain’t ever an easy thing, but sometimes a man’s gotta do what man’s gotta do.

It ain’t a choice, it’s just life throwing ya a curveball or two.

Today, as Khaleel opened Club Nightside in one of the seedier sectors of Coruscant? It could only remind him of that one time, how a few years ago he had reopened Jimmy’s after wrestling it from the cold dead hands of its creator.

How far ya’ve come, Khally boy. And how much farther are ya willing to go?

Bustling crowd, always was on the first day if ya knew the right people. He sat in a corner of the club with his own attache surrounding him, his own damned court that followed wherever he went. Still, at least this opening hadn’t turned violent yet, no wookies ripping off arms and the sort. Khal frowned slightly at that thought, they hadn’t ever been able to remove that blood stain.

It’s gone all the same now, fire works magic.

While the more cynical man sat shrouded in his thoughts back in some corner of the nightclub, Lily found herself slipping inside all on her lonesome. Her sister had, predictably, refused the invitation to accompany the fashionable twin to the club opening, which was quite honestly slightly more eventful than the average night in Club Corellia on Teta. Lily, of course, was attracted to the club for more reasons than simply a night out - one doesn't travel on a ship through the core to 'enjoy the night' - and one of those reasons were one of the many reasons she'd become rather fond of nightclubs in the first place.

Drugs, pleasure, alcohol.

The three things her sister, Rose, veered clear of, especially the latter as she was deathly allergic. While the bubbly teen enjoyed long nights out doing body shots, or being the body for the shots, her reclusive twin stayed at home and read or did some other boring activity that Lily wanted no part in. Tonight, in particular, she was already high on a particular blend of spice that her own mother had smoked while thinking her daughter was unaware. Every sense, from hearing to touch, was multiplied tenfold, but she found her reaction speed slowed to a very dangerous degree, finding herself lost in a lengthy conversation with simply a slow nod or overwhelmed expression as a response on more than one occasion already.

Yes, she was a teenage girl addicted to drugs and already a budding hedonist, and she was most certainly not afraid of letting people know. She spotted [member="Khaleel Malvern"] a bit a ways from the entrance, with that kind of expression every girl just has the urge to change, and slowly made her way towards him, stopped only once by a rather bold Togruta male, probably a couple years her senior, who had grabbed her arm and immediately took advantage of her sluggish mental capacity granted to her by her high. Some really gross words uttered in her ear, something about dominance and various other droll that simply were too detailed for her current attention span, and another hand flew to the back of her waist, just above her tailbone. Her jaw clenched and loosened as she struggled with forcing words out of her lips. "I-I-I'mm n-not interr-ested." She mumbled, just loud enough for the man to hear, earning her a look of annoyance and revulsion coupled with a shove against her chest as he let go, clearly uninterested with her putting up a fight. She stumbled, of course, and moved to steady herself against a couch, the loud music and crowd of people pushing against her not exactly helping.

A lone girl walking into a bustling crowd could be overlooked.

But miss [member="Lily Kirsche Kuhn"] was no regular lone girl strutting into a club unattended. See, the Red Ravens hadn’t ever been all that organized, a bunch of amateurs at play; trying to play the game. But they had failed to understand the subtle nuances, how to ease people and turn enemies into friends.

Instead anywhere they went, they pushed their hydrospanners down people’s throat and then became surprised when people didn’t take any of that.

Entitlement.

Khaleel’s organization was different in that regard, the criminal syndicate had spread through the entire Galaxy and his men were always on the look out for things. So when Lily walked in, it hadn’t been too long before one of his men sat next to him and whispered some interesting facts.

A Kuhn.

Heritage numbering into the uncountless.

A company worth something.

And most importantly a history of several vices and abuse. Debts? Probably not yet, but people were already looking into her and the weaknesses she shared. Wouldn’t be too long before one single Togruta would turn into a whole gang of thugs trying to abuse the situation.

Did Khal care?

His occupation as a Jedi and Gray Paladin told him that, yes… he did care. His occupation as a Crime Lord told him much the same in this question, but perhaps for a different reason this time around. Several approaches were considered, before the most easy one was picked.

A pretty girl would suddenly sit down next to Lily, lips brushing past her cheek before arriving at the ear itself.

She would whisper, before leaving again.

“You got his attention, you can come and see him, if you want.”

Lights whirred about her, the sound of music and talking filled her ears in almost an unbearably loud way, but as the girl approached her all of that seemed to drain away. It wasn't that she was attracted to her - she had almost zero comprehension of what was going on, almost to the degree of what she felt like when she was blackout drunk - but there just seemed to be some sort of ominous focus on her that just wrenched her attention from her. Soft lips made contact with the side of her cheek and slid towards her ear, and the whispers that followed sent a chill down her spine from the sheer feeling of a breathe against her skin. It was funny how drugs worked, making all of her senses almost euphoric while her brain was temporarily turned to mush. Slowly she nodded, her grip on the couch that was against her read loosened as she suddenly became aware that her fingers had been curled into the fabric tightly. Before she could muster the willpower to utter a single word of reply the girl was gone, and her gaze was instead turned back to [member="Khaleel Malvern"], mouth slightly agape as she pushed herself up and away from the back of the couch. Already the high she'd been under was starting to wane, and her mental facilities slowly began to return.

She wasn't so far gone as to forget how to saunter towards a man, even if she was just a tiny bit too young to be experienced at such. Where older women had the advantage of knowing how to act, Lily had a figure that could kill and she knew how to show it off, even if that wasn't really what she needed or wanted to do. It came to her like second nature, so many nights out watching models walk the catwalks in clothing designed just for her, and she was most certainly not one to deny such instinctual mannerisms. "You rang?" Came her soft voice, barely capable of being heard over the rest of the club. Certainly the man looked important, at least in the sense that he seemed to command attention from so many people lounging around him, so it came to reason - in her head - that she should be at that center of attention. Literally. With a posh smile and a tilt of her head towards her left, Lily slid down to sit beside [member="Khaleel Malvern"] on the side of her right thigh. Maybe she was a little forward, a little too close, but when it came to night life, that was just who she was. An entirely different animal than during the day, so to speak.

[member="Lily Kirsche Kuhn"]

Khaleel resettled himself, not closing the distance, but neither making it any bigger for the moment.

“You came.” the reply would simply come, a soft low hum in the air.

Those blue eyes would survey the room that spread out in front of them, the people bustling around and having fun, or not so having fun. Curious plethora of critical mass that just kept on going throughout the night, until it sputtered out by the breaking of a new dawn.

Such a thought.

A scratch of the chin as a ponder briefly passed him, games played in front of him as Khaleel thought on how to approach a girl such as this one. Rich, pampered and utterly irresponsible when it came to the troubles of life.

“What brings you here, miss Kuhn?”

A simple question then, to begin a longer dance perhaps.

"What brings me here..? What brings any young woman to these sorts of places, hm?" She sassed back, smirking knowingly. But, of course, she wasn't here to play these kinds of games. Not yet, anyways. "Maybe meet a cute guy, drink a little too much, get a bit of a high, I think all three of those are most of the reasons I go out to nightclubs, but you already knew that, didn't you?" Lily continued, leaning into the back cushion of the couch while she tilted her head against it and smiled. A bit of an adjusting of how she sat and, still on the side of her right thigh, she found her chin resting on her right forearm and her left hand pressed against her hip. "But I think we all know why I'm here, maybe you can tell me why you've become interested, mister.. I didn't quite catch your name." The teen added after a short pause. It wasn't every day she tried her hand at someone who was obviously more than a year her senior, but her big day was coming up in just a few months now, then she'd be just as much an adult as anyone. With access to an entire planet's drug prevention network in her own backyard.

For now, though, she'd settle with mild - if you could call it that - flirtation and a steady flow of alcohol to keep her busy. Why worry about tomorrow when today you could still have fun?

“They usually call me Walker.”

The Underlord would reply with a little shrug.

Elimination of identity and minimization towards an abstract identity that would protect the interests of a lot of important people, one did not have to speak the true name to get what one wants. Which brought them back towards the more important question of the moment.

Why had he called her over?

Was it the tiniest of sparks that was lit up within her? The spark she was so desperately trying to flush out like it wasn’t nobody’s business?

Was it the confident swagger which had pronounced her walk when she had seen her target and moved to take it, before getting hit by that proverbial wall of a man too eager to get his inch of meat? Or was it something entirely else?

The prospect of yet another drone to do his bidding, yet another company that would slowly intercede for his behalf whenever he deemed it worthy of his time?

A shrug would come, the littlest of them and yet Khal didn’t move away from her reach.

“Perhaps I wished to explore the scenery a little more in depth.” his voice would hum softly.

If cheshire were an adjective, she'd most certainly be doing it now. The knowing grin on her face gave the impression that the answer he'd given her was what she expected - and let's think about it, who wouldn't? "So, Mister Walker, the scenery you say? Nobody's ventured into these preserves just yet, you might just be the first if you play your cards right." Lily said coyly, keeping her smile. There was no illusion on her part that all those grabs and shoves in clubs like these were more than simple mistakes, especially with the man that had grabbed her arm earlier. It seemed every day that drew her closer to her one-eight also drew more and more people towards her, and although it was generally men there were times where she wasn't so sure if it was always the case.

This man, though, was perhaps a little bit different. Not too forward, not yet at least, and she wasn't so sure that he was even interested or willing. Not that it mattered tonight while she was only acting like this to serve as a tease for what was to come. "The name is Lily Kuhn, Mister Walker, I trust you've heard of my father." She continued, keeping her tone just as velvety as it had been when she had turned the charm up and continued to direct her attention wholly to him - a strategy she'd learn was the best in ensuring a man or boy was completely focused on you, even worked to break down confident egos sometimes. "But I'm not here to wave around his name, especially not now that he's dead. I'd like to get to know you a little better. Acquaintances, perhaps? I don't mind talking business if that is what you're after, but I like the finer side of life. Give me a month and a week and I'll even be at an age you can show off." The teen explained, not spending much time beating around the bush. "The question is, what would you like from me, and what can you give me in return?" She asked, guessing that this was probably a question she would have been asked if she kept trying to play herself into his metaphorical pants.

Now ain’t that a surprise.

Khal wasn’t exactly good with ages, but he wouldn’t have guessed that Lily was shy of eighteen years old, might have been the way she carried herself, the way she talked or any other sign. There was inexperience in that, but a lot of people were inexperienced these days - that wasn’t usually a sign of age, as much as of simple ignorance.

Did this change anything?

Perhaps it should, perhaps he should have metaphorically pulled out right there and then, but he wasn’t planning on killing her or leaving her without a penny. This wasn’t that kind of con, it wasn’t even a con perse.

Depending on how quick she caught up she could even profit herself from it.

“A month and a week then.” Khal would reply with a slow grin spreading, before he got out a cigarette and lit it up for himself. A brief look made him offer her one as well, he had started smoking at about the eight or nine year.

Can’t hurt.

“Your daddy was a rich man, miss Kuhn. An important man.” a dead man? Somehow it didn’t seem right. “But we aren’t here to talk about his achievements, instead… I am interested in the Krath.”

Which could mean a variety of things.

She gave that same pleased smile she often gave to people who played along with her banter, especially satisfied with not only being successful with another game of flirtatious behavior, but also having him flirt back - even if halfheartedly. However, it was what he brought up next - after the mention of her father - that nabbed her attention. Krath, a group of people who seemed to be the descendants or remnants of some ancient cult that permeated Empress Teta's culture, and more importantly the people whom her parents both crushed and took over in the same period of time that her mother became the sovereign Empress to the people of Cinnegar. She'd later come to find out that her mother had actually discovered her pregnancy with the twins at this point, sometime during her short conflict with the Krath, and obtained the company that Lily and Rose had inherited and now ran at the same time. "What is there to know?" She asked, suddenly quite a bit more cautious.

It wasn't quite that she had much to do with them on a personal basis, or that she really controlled them her her parents had at one time, but it was a well-known historical fact that the rulers of Empress Teta were all affiliated with them in some way, whether it be by marriage or membership, all of it stemming from Aleema Keto and her cousin Satal Keto - the founders of the organization. Its history was so entwined with that of Koros and the people within it that it was surprising they hadn't been the group to fight off the Republic before the Sith. Regardless, people who asked questions or spoke about them - especially in public - tended to disappear, so to say the teen was a bit on the alert side was not an understatement. "Surely they can't be much of an interest to you." Lily added, glancing around to make sure nobody else was watching her.

[member="Lily Kirsche Kuhn"]

Khal wasn’t afraid.

Perhaps it was a suicidal nature or simply a belief that most things couldn’t touch him anymore. The Krath used to be an organization of power, their sheer name bringing terror into the hearts of those that knew no better, but that was a long time ago.

Stuck on Empress Teta and with the One Sith clutching down on them? With Silara and Alric Kuhn beating them into submission and turning them into puppets for her own title? Even with their disappearance… a mythical organization doesn’t simply revive itself overnight.

This was the opportune moment to strike, to push them out or turn them into something useful and from there? From there they would see what the new opportunities were. Perhaps the shipyards over Teta, perhaps simple influence over the underworld that Teta boasted. There were opportunities all around… ya just had to be brave enough to grab it when ya saw the opening.

“Your parents once subjugated the Krath.”

He shouldn’t have known that, how did he know that?

“I want to repeat history.”

The way this Walker fellow was so casually speaking of a criminal organization that had practically entrenched itself in politics to the daughter of the woman that had so carefully stepped in just the right place to bring the whole thing crumbling down made the girl suddenly wonder if he realized exactly how vulnerable a teenage girl was in the middle of the night, alone, at a night club on a foreign planet. If there were Krath agents following her, as there almost always were, then the moment the organization heard about something to do with her and the fall of their remaining groups would be the moment that one Lily Kuhn disappeared off the face of Empress Teta. It didn't matter that she was to inherit the same position her mother had held, only with more accountability now that time had passed and the government had reverted to its monarchical ways. Sure, she was no Sith Lord with access to all kinds of power - but that was exactly why it would be so easy for a little teenage girl who hardly even practiced the abilities she used to make the leather for her shoes to be killed or kidnapped without a second thought, royalty or not.

"You're kidding, right?" She asked, not even catching the mention of her mother, more concerned with his openness with someone who - if he'd even put an iota of interest in the safety of the girl - was probably followed even inside of his cozy little nightclub. "What do you expect me to do, be your bait?" Lily continued, finding the whole notion incredulous. She liked the status-quo, and currently it was that the Krath kept her alone because they saw an opportunity to use her, while she left them alone because they could stop leaving her alone. She did not want to end up like her mother, dead. "What could you possibly want with them, anyways? They line the pockets of the government of Teta and smuggle drugs in and out of Cinnegar. They don't have an army like they did during the era of Exar Kun, and their former ship foundries and company belongs to my sister and I." The teenager added, if only for good measure. She wanted him to think really long and hard about this before he went and dragged her into a mess that she would never get out of. If he could find a reason to entice her, perhaps she was interested - but at the moment it revolved around a relatively non-combative teenage girl being put up against a group of people that would have no problem killing her.

[member="Khaleel Malvern"]

The Admiralty
In fact, the Underlord had put an iota of interest into the girl… just not in her safety. What she instead was currently experiencing was the role of the bait - correctly assumed, but slightly misguided in the stretch that she had a choice in it or that it would be a thing in the far future for preparement.

Not so much though.

Why would one such as Khaleel Malvern ask her to come to him?, would be the question that raced through the minds of those that had been following her. Three, in fact. All of which had just been knocked unconscious and silently taken away from the nightclub to… elsewhere.

“For now,” Khal would reply, addressing the point of her foundries directly. “But you do not have the clout of your father or the power of your mother. The Sith have no use for you and with that your position is very… awkward, to say the least.”

He smiled.

“You have already played part of your role, miss Kuhn. So in a way you are already committed to this, I am afraid.”

It was that drugs-operation that Khal was interested in, well… that and a direct line to their government. Could be an interesting prospect to be sure.

[member="Lily Kirsche Kuhn"]

For a moment the teenager simply observed the man as he spoke, already knowing that she and her entire life were already compromised. He was right. She never was a part of the One Sith to begin with - in fact she absolutely hated them and pretty much everything they stood for, it was not for nothing that she had never quite gotten along with her mother while growing up - so it only stood to reason that she wasn't of any use to them. Now, she was most certainly not as powerful as her mother and doubted she would ever reach - or want to reach - that kind of combat prowess. Her skills resided in alchemy, the creation kind. She didn't fight in most cases, and if she did it was with her sister as support - one can't expect an enemy to allow them to take the time to utilize the force to alter the environment or weather. And, although she wished it wasn't the case, Lily was also not anywhere near as famous as her father had been and even with his incredible wealth inherited by the twins, without Titan they were even less wealthy.

She wasn't so sure what her sister had done with her half of the money, but she had invested much of her own portion and seen a small gain - yet still nothing close enough to match the legendary influence and power that the lady's man Alric Kuhn once had. "Hmph. And to think I thought you might have been potential boyfriend material." She grumbled, staring daggers at Mr. Walker. She still hadn't ruled out the possibility of a fling with the man yet, but she wasn't about to tell him that. Not when she could throw him a bone in the future to get herself out of a tight squeeze. "And as for my property on Teta, Mister Walker, you'll need to do more than try to weasel me into being your bait to get me to give you any space to use on them." Lily added sharply with a frown. More subtle lingo, not that she was even trying at this point anymore. "Now what is it you want me to do, huh? There isn't much for me to do, unless you're going to use me as some kind of hostage or something." She went on, adding the last bit as an after-thought, as she shifted in her seat slightly.

Boyfriend material?

That was quite an amusing statement to make, if Khal was anything… well, it wasn’t boyfriend material for sure. His life was far too dangerous to ever get too close to people, he also traveled from one edge of the Galaxy to another… and sometimes even went beyond it, can’t really make any worthwhile relationships when you are always on the metaphorical road.

“Oh I will do more than that for some space on your property.” the Underlord would reply back, the lingo returned without even a second thought. It came as easy as breathing to him these days, which probably wasn’t a good thing either.

But a man’s gotta do what man’s gotta do.

Khal tilted his head slightly as he listened into the information-feed, and then nodded to himself - more so that to her, but that wasn’t important.

“We have already taken your tail into custody, it will take my boys a while, before we get any worthwhile information from them though.” Khal would finally say. “Just have some fun now, get some drinks, dance a little bit maybe.”

“In the end you are gonna go home again, and I am reasonably certain the Krath will be curious as to why their men have vanished. We will go from there.”

A disarming smile appeared, a smile that notified her that she shouldn’t worry too much. It probably wouldn’t help very much, but Khal had been doing this for a long time now. His crime syndicate had grown and there was no place in the Galaxy that he didn’t have some kind of presence in, this wasn’t exactly his first rodeo.

Perhaps she should have made better choices in life, maybe things wouldn't have turned out the way they did, but Lily - really, honestly - did not care. She was expecting something akin to being held for ransom by the man, and she was happily proven otherwise. Certainly the Krath would be an issue regardless of the circumstances when she returned home, and perhaps there were things she wasn't telling mister "Walker" that she kept to herself, but for now she was free to do as she always loved to do: live in the now. "I'm a little too intoxicated to be responsible if I drink, Mister Walker. Even I cut myself off from alcohol after a certain point." She replied, speaking the truth in regards to her drinking - although it had more to do with the drugs in her system than her integrity. She also hated hangovers, even though drinking with her medication meant she would have them anyways. Lily afforded a roll of her eyes as she leaned her head towards her shoulder on her right and sighed in exasperation.

"Seriously, live a little. For someone so laid back and lounging in a club, you sure are such a stiff." Lily frowned. Looking him over again, even his body language betrayed the almost controlling attitude he had when he spoke. She understood the reason behind his assertiveness and sense of entitlement, but he seemed to lack a single ounce of individuality. "If you could have been any more boring you might have blended in with the background, loosen up a little." She elaborated, scooting away from him a bit. "Maybe the chance to get control of the Krath seems exciting to you, but I really have no reason I would benefit by helping you - my own business, Koros, will continue either way." Lily said as she adjusted the way she sat to sit on her bottom, crossing her right leg over her left knee as she looked over towards Walker.

Would it?

That was the singular question that should resonate back to her - with the departure of the Titan Industries… every single privately-owned company that manufactured military-grade hardware would be under some kind of scrutiny. Some corporations could stand firm in that scrutiny: You don’t feth around with the likes of Arceneau Trade Company, Santhe or Saiba without getting a pike shoved up your nethers.

But did Koross and Lily have the same kind of protection? Khal did not think it likely.

That being said… she did have a point, he was working so much these days; playing so many angles all the time that he forgot what the meaning of fun was. So it didn’t come as a surprise when the Underlord shrugged and gave her half of a smile.

“Show me?” he’d ask with something promising in the eye.

To challenge the Kuhn daughter to give someone a good time was asking if the sun set on Teta. Even while away from Empress Teta Lily was almost famous for the parties she threw, the "trouble" she caused, and the boys and girls that ended up waking up in the same room as her the next morning - sometimes even both. Asking her to show someone what a good time was.. well, it was perhaps one of the more interesting things someone could do. Rose had long since learned not to get her twin excited at the prospect of partying, drugs, sex, and music. Perhaps this Walker person would either live to regret his choice of words, or learn to enjoy the social butterfly that was Lily Kirsche Kuhn. No sooner had the words left his lips that Lily leaned forwards, towards him, and practically crawled into his lap with both of her smaller hands on each of his shoulders, her face directly beside his, lips nearly touching his ears. "Is our host absolutely certain he wants little miss Cherry to give him a good time?" She asked, forcing a change in the tone of her voice so it was slightly higher pitched, and exponentially more seductive in intent. The name-play, of course, was a reference to her own middle name, which meant - obviously - cherry.

Her right hand snaked up the side of his head and she pushed her fingers into his hair, pressing her own face up against his. "Just close your eyes and relax." She cooed, smiling as she allowed her own eyes to drift shut slowly. Rising slightly to slide her right knee over and straddle the club owner's lap, she pushed her face forwards slightly, and down, while breathing considerably more heavy. If her parents had been any good at this sort of play, it certainly translated to their child - teasing was obviously her forte. Seconds later and she scooted up, bringing her left down to his chest, roughly above his diaphragm. A gentle push, a shove, and her right knee inched its way up towards the man's stomach. Now doing the horizontal tango, so to speak, she let her eyes open slightly as she pulled her head back to look down at "Walker's" prone figure. "Do you want to continue?" Lily whispered, sliding her left hand up from his chest towards his bottom lip where she pressed her index finger to it lightly. "Can you?"

Khal wasn’t an ordinary individual. This was not a reference to his connections to the criminal underworld though, neither was it a reference to his past with the Jedi or the friends he had cultivated within the Primeval heresy.

It all came down to those few years (figural years, it was probably only a few literal months) spent in the Netherworld, a literal hell reserved for those that had been seduced by the Darkside of the Force.

Wasn’t exactly a pleasant vacation, but Khaleel had learned certain things there and eventually made a pact with an entity… well, let’s just say that you can sell more than just your soul. You just had to be a little bit creative with your imagination.

“You have no idea.” Walker whispered back while the blues of his eyes shifted a tone. His hand brushed her side softly and he smiled.

“Are you sure you are ready for this, Kirsche?”

Within him the spirit uncoiled itself just slightly. It saw something new to play with and it liked what it saw.

A smirk followed her index finger, which she slid from [member="Khaleel Malvern"]'s lower lip towards his cheek, while she rest her chin against the older man's shoulder. The most she knew about the man was his moniker of "Walker" and that he owned the club that she was practically grinding up against him in, as far as she was aware he'd done his research on her and the people that had tried to steer her away from power - to put it simply, he knew more about her than she cared to know about him. But when it came to having a good time, to partying, to alcohol and unwinding after a week of rough work, it didn't really matter how much someone knew about the daughter of the Titan of Teta, she would rock their world regardless of their little plans, sink her metaphorical talons into their backs, and get them off of hers without even half the hassle that a conflict would have brought. "I'm a big girl, Mister Walker, I can handle myself." She breathed while she snaked her right hand up his cheek to his ear, caressing the side of his head behind it. Without even missing a beat she leaned back, slid to the side, and lifted her leg free from his lap to stand. "Well? Come on, Walker - if you'd like to hear me say your name again I suggest we get started." Lily said with a devious smile.
