• Appearance Fair-skinned with hazel eyes and long chestnut brown hair, Lara is considered the "prettier" of the twins. She has a delicate, fairy-like look and a slender, dainty build. Her ears are pointed, a trait passed down from her Nagai ancestry.
• Description: Quiet and reserved, Lara is more nervous and cautious than her sister, but her anxiety belies a surprising courage under the right circumstances. She has a love of reading and is a good student with interests in a variety of subjects, from history to philosophy to literature and the arts. Her future is uncertain, but she might become a scholar or librarian.

• Appearance At five foot two, Kyla inherited her mother's diminutive build and has an overall stockier build compared to her twin sister. Her fair skin is spotted with freckles and moles. Her hair is very dark, almost black, and naturally curly; she often wears it in a braid over her right shoulder. She has her father's blue eyes and her ears are pointed like her mother's and grandfather's.
• Description: Kyla is feisty and brave, eager to fight back against injustice. Her emotions sometimes get the better of her, leading to reckless and unruly behavior. She has a great sense of humor, though, and is brighter than her brains-over-brawn attitude would seem at a glance. She will likely follow in her grandfather's footsteps and become a tomb raider archaeologist.

GENERAL FAMILY INFORMATION

The Nimdok family began with Professor Errik Nimdok, a respected historian and archaeologist. The son of Nagai immigrant parents, Errik was born on Alderaan and attended (and later taught at) the University of Alderaan. He gained renown for his many adventures in the pursuit of historical artifacts, as well as the wild (and often contradictory) stories of his life.

He was married twice, first to Bithia (nee Grayson) with whom he had a daughter, Miri. Miri would go on to have a relationship with the Jedi Knight Kyell Laysel. They had twin daughters, Lara and Kyla, prior to Kyell's death in battle and Miri's murder at the hands of the fallen Jedi Zaavik Perl .

Not long after Miri was killed, the Jedi Knight Starlin Rand received a vision of Errik Nimdok's ghost. The spirit asked him to train his granddaughters in the ways of the Force. Starlin sought the girls out, only to find that Kyla had run off to Coruscant in pursuit of her mother's killer. Starlin and Lara traveled to Coruscant, where Starlin was mastered by Syd Celsius . He eventually found Kyla in the lower levels; she had failed to locate Zaavik Perl amid the chaos of battle. Starlin convinced her to leave with him. Thus did the twins begin their training under Starlin.
