The Northern Approach

The Great Galactic War - a conflict that had been raging for a year or more now - though she hadn't thought much on it beyond ensuring the consolidation of power within Commenor. Now though there was a change in the Galaxy, another Galactic Government floundering in the current of time and soon to be relegated to History. The woman stood silently, the room bathed in a soft blue hue as she looked upon the projection of the galactic map before her, carefully reading over the various positions and borders.

Stepping forward she brought one hand up, lightly touching the projection at the point where Commenor rest and just beyond it, the Free Worlds Coalition. A soft smirk crossed her lips - she had come from Alderaan after finding it stifling and toxic - though that was not her goal as much as she desired to return and depose House Organa. Such personal matters of revenge could wait until another time as the Minister of Defense had no room to go after such desires.

Refocusing herself, she brought her attention upon those worlds just North of Commenor on the map - it was these worlds that she found herself desiring. Though she couldn't act alone, as much as a benefit it would be to take these worlds, it would also mean the cost of lives if it was left to an invasion...

"No... an Invasion is something we can't afford."

She spoke to herself, bringing her arms to cross over her chest, as she lightly bit on the nail of her thumb. A soft hiss escaping her lips as she went over her options - then a soft smile crossed her lips as her ears perked up upon hearing the door slip open. Her golden hues resettling upon the two arriving.

"Thank you for coming... we've much to talk about in regards to the current affairs of the Galaxy."

Kay was the first to arrive. She bowed her head to [member="Amelia Sorenn-Syrush"] as she walked into her office. What the meeting was soely about, she didn't know. But she had hoped that it was more good news than bad.

"I...have been distracted with Veiere and preparing for his trial. As well as the investigation in regards to Eddak's murder. I haven't checked through all of my messages that have been piling up. What has been happening as of late?"

In truth Kay hadn't been sleeping much. She had been filled with too much worry and stress to get much rest. And it showed in the overtired look in her eyes.
