SETTING INFORMATION
Structure Name: The Oasis

Accessibility: Easily accessed and open to the public though there are rules to be adhered to within.
Security: N/A at present the Boolon Foundation doesn’t have anything in the way of security, defence of the structure falls to the hands of those residing in it should it come under attack. Though this may change in the future.
Description: Formerly a corporate structure, that reflected the dull grey and glass structures around it, The Sanctuary has been refurbished to stand out from the district around it, a place where all are welcome regardless of allegiance or faith. Unlike its counterpart on Teth, The Sanctuary does not have any hangars so approach must be made on foot or via speeder.
POINTS OF INTEREST
Speeder Bay
The lower level is dedicated to the storage of speeders, with handful owned by the Foundation and available for the residents use should they require it, the rest of the space here is so other can secure their own vehicles. There is also a workshop and refuelling station open to all with a very simple rule: leave it as you found it.
Weapons Lock Up
In order to maintain peace within the Oasis all visitors and residents are required to give up their weapons upon entry. Lock ups are located in the entrance hall, speeder bays, training rooms, firing range and in the dorms. Residents can choose where they’d like their weapon to be kept upon entry. Weapons can only be retrieved when a resident is leaving. In the event of an attack all lock ups are opened automatically.
Medical Centre
Spanning two levels the medical centre is equipped and manned by The Foundation, compromising of medical droids, doctors and healers from across the galaxy. The medical centre can treat up to a hundred patients at once.
Dorms
Four levels are dedicated to private rooms that are equipped with the basics; a bedroom, bathroom, a basic kitchen and a lounges. Some quarters are larger than others allowing for families to reside within and consisting of two or three separate bedrooms, a shared bathroom, lounge and kitchen. There are also simpler quarters available for those just looking for a bunk and somewhere to wash.
Tranquil Hall
The tranquil hall is five stories high in the centre of the building, with large windows to allow light to filter in and reflect from the pool that dominates the centre of the room. Benches and indoor gardens are dotted throughout to give people a place to come and gather their thoughts.
Training Rooms/Firing Range
There are a number of training rooms available to all, be it force users or not. Any who wish to sharpen their skills while staying are welcome to use them. There is also a firing range available, for those who need it.
Communal Areas
Between the four dormitory levels is a large communal area, equipped with an open kitchen and dining space for those who don’t want to eat alone or have not got the equipment to cook in their quarters. As well as this there is a comfy seating area with a large holoscreen with access to all the latest holotv and films and a soft play area for younger children and a bar.
Areas Available to Rent
The remaining levels have been converted to open spaces that could be used as labs, offices or conference rooms. All are available to rent by any and proceeds from these rentals are used towards maintenance and supplies of the Oasis.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Originally a run down corporate building, after assisting [member="HK-36"] with his diplomatic skills to have the Metal Lords reside over Denon, Rosa purchased the building at a low price at auction and set to refurbishing it to be the second sanctuary within the Foundation. Holding to the Foundations mission statement to remain neutral, the Denon officials have no jurisdiction within the Oasis and if they have reason to suspect a criminal is using it to hideout they must provide evidence to back accusations so the foundation can negotiate with the person at hand to have them turn themselves in or leave the temple at their own risk.
Far larger than the Silent Temple in order to account for the increased traffic associated with being closer to the core world, the Oasis is designed to be self sufficient, the availability of rental properties allowing for this.
Any disputes between residents must be settled are settled by the residing Foundation member in a peaceful manner to reduce the chances of conflict. Any are welcome to come to the Oasis regardless of allegiance.
