The Order of the Knights of Kal'Shebbol

There's no need for a big ploy or fancy words. The faction itself is simple, an Order that specializes in Combat against Force Users. It is a revival of an idea original post on this board a year or so ago and it is an idea that I've always regretted letting go. I've had many ideas rise and flounder (usually at my own design or abandonment) and each time I've always regretted not sticking with this idea from the get go and letting it just get absorbed and disappeared as I kept trying to find a place for myself on this board.

I think this is what my place should be, to do justice for a faction that I seemed to quickly forget. The Knights of Kal'Shebbol started from a simple discussion with a friend over skype about how to the common person there was no difference between a Jedi and a Sith. That to the people in Star Wars they were the same thing and that for many families they lost their children because the Jedi practice taking children at a young age for training, an act in itself that we agreed did more harm to that child than any good. Over the course of a few more discussions and ideas thrown around the Knights of Kal'Shebbol were born.

Now it's time to renew the idea and rebirth the Knights of Kal'Shebbol. For those that are interested, I say welcome, for those that would bring up criticism, compliments, concerns or questions, I welcome those as well. I will open myself to questions and concerns and do my best to provide answers for each one.

Had a general question about how this Order would look upon people that have a Force Connection, but it is either neglected (barely used), or they themselves aren't necessarily aware of it?

What do they use to fight Force users? Anything they can get their hands on?

In terms of a being that has a force connection that isn't used or they are unaware of, the wouldn't wholly be against them, however they would still feel the need to monitor them in some way to ensure that they didn't take a wrong path. While in the past with the previous Knights there were members that could use the force, they were encouraged to use it in a more passive means by utilizing on the healing techniques.

The Knights of Kal'Shebbol use and practice Teras Kasi the martial art form developed by the Followers of Palawa after an incident with the Jedi Order forerunners. Additional equipment would be created through brainstorming and prefactory tech development within the faction.

If and when this faction comes together, I would very much like to have an encounter with my practitioner of Teras Kasi. Mostly because he's been trained by the Followers, and still utilizes the Force to a constant degree. Also, thank you for the clarification.

I'm sure we could have a thread made up then. [member="Evad"]

If there is anyone else whom has questions, comments or concerns please voice them. I'll reply to them to the best of my ability.

Sure thing [member="Razelle Breuner"]. You'll always be welcomed with the Knights of Kal'Shebbol. We'll even have a swanky new mobile base..... once the development threads are dealt with.

It possible to come study with the Order? I have a bad track record of successful encounters with hostile FUs.

A faction can never have too many Redheads [member="Kyla Verss"], you're welcome to join.

Likewise it is a pleasure to have you among our numbers as well [member="Mya"]

The Knights of Kal'Shebbol are willing to train those that often run into Force Users. Welcome aboard [member="Kiyron"]

You're more than welcomed to join as well [member="Elanna Ak'lya"]

I also extend a greeting and open arms to others that would like to join as well. The Order of the Knights of Kal'Shebbol is a welcoming environment of a faction that is dedicated to teaching others how to protect themselves from the powers of the Force and the Force Users that wield them.

I remember this. Amon was cool. Too bad he died with the faction. Triam Akovin might be into this once I revive her. I'll think on it, and observe where the Faction leads, as Triam Akovin is one of my more favorite of characters and I don't want her mixed up with a flash in a pan.

I understand [member="Fatty"] and I've answered your question as posed in the Q&A thread. I do hope that you will join or at least have some interactions with the Faction.

As for others, I understand their own hesitation from joining due to my own track record (which I personally regret that I've allowed to be created or that I've even allowed myself to create it.) With that said though I do hope that there will be those that will join with the Knights of Kal'Shebbol or have some interactions with the faction.

Don't worry about it. I've decided that while Fatty will be my main Focus, I'll be bringing back Triam Akovin in a variety of occupations. She's already joined the SSB and that new Beast Hunter's Guild thing. She will also be joining this.

As a former member of this very order, I hereby endorse this venture, and am willing to help it in any way I am able in the event of disaster :p ;)

It will be good to have some old blood around. Thank you for rejoining.

I do hope that others will also join the faction. The Knights of Kal'Shebbol were an idea that I truly and wholly regret ever putting own rather than sticking to it. With so many of my ideas having come and gone with me barely giving a second thought, I feel that I've let not only myself down, I've let the site down by not sticking to my ideas and providing the site with story driven threads (a mistake that I hope I can rectify.)

For those that feel that this is just a flash in a pan, I understand where you are coming from and why you feel that way. I can only ask that you take the faction for what it is. An idea that came about from discussion and an idea that can be built upon, however in order for this to happen it needs the creative input of its members.

The faction is an open faction, seeking to share knowledge, teach others to protect themselves and help in keeping the galaxy safe from dangerous artifacts.
