The Order of the One is a monastic organization that believes there are many Deities and that each of these Deities has their own domain that was manifested as a Galaxy. From this, the Order of the One follows the ancient teachings of the Ti'Xal Codices that spoke of their slumbering Deity, The Great Old One. Founded on Miasma by the Dark Lady, the Listener of Whispers whom hears the whispering desires of the slumbering Great Old One. Their reason for existing is simple; The Galaxy belongs to their Deity and must be prepared for its return. The Order seeks to conquer and convert all before them and to prepare the galaxy for the arrival of their Dark God.

Most of what can be said about the Order of the One has been in the overview as well as the Faction write up. A Q&A post is likely to come within the next few days. Until then, are there any questions or comments at large that the members may have? I will do my best to answer them and hopefully I will be able to give a general feel for others as to what the faction's goals are and its overall structure.

A very interesting concept. I'll consider joining with one of my darker characters.

However, I do have a question. This is more so a theocratic seeming government, with the religion of the Order being supreme in all aspects. Since that's the case, how do you plan to appeal to the masses of the followers of other religions like the Moross Crusade?

In terms of appealing to other religions, the Order of the One believes that there are multiple deities. Their belief though also extends that the Galaxy was meant for their Deity, and that there are other Galaxies for the other Deities. Thus, rather than attempting to out right destroy the faith by claiming it as blasphemous, they would accept the beliefs of others and slowly sway them into accepting the full beliefs of the Order of the One. This is also why they have a religious ceremony called the Awakening, in which they awaken converts to the truth of their religion.
