Name: The O.C. Standard Militia Unit
Intent: To make up fluff soldiers for the O.C. Rebellion of Belsavis vs. the Galactic Alliance
Affiliation: The Oversector Coalition, though usually more motivated by what world they came from (Javin, Abraxas, Kaal, etc.)
Availability: Common
Quality: Ranges from D, to C.
Type: Infantry
Strength: 88 typically
Description: Every planet needs a militia to defend it from foreign attack, and the worlds within the Oversector Coalition are no exception. These "Standard" units are composed of the inhabitants of Javin, Kaal, and Abraxas which are mostly human. There are a few Mugaari, though they are rarely seen in the militia due to their aversion to humans and much smaller population. Though the combined number of humans is not as populous as the Tunroth, they have overwhelmingly volunteered more than the mistrusting aliens. Most soldiers do have training, though a significant portion of them still suffer from being "green" given the overall lack of significant combat up until the Rebellion of Belsavis. They are equipped with little more than blasters and grenades, with no real armor.

Strengths:
- Blasters and Grenades - At the very least, these militias units which come in large numbers, are capable of making an offensive with their blasters and grenades.
- Lacking in Experience - Unlike the Tunroth or Lortan units, these militias are usually made up of volunteers who know a blaster about as much as astrophysics. They do have some training, but training pales in comparison to actual application.
- Lacking in support - Unless a Lortan or Tunroth unit is nearby, these militia units are practically defenseless against some types of attacks and enemies. At times, they are little more than cannon fodder.
- Uncommitted - Though some within their ranks have some idea what the Oversector Coalition is, their loyalties are almost always centered about where they came from. If things get to rough and it looks like they are being turned into cannon fodder, morale will spike low very quickly, resulting in desertions, which are common given that the militia is filled with volunteers that might not have realized what they got themselves into.
