STRENGTHS
Cortosis Weave: Cortosis Weave Fibers have been threaded throughout inner most layer of the holster, allowing it to withstand cursory glances from lightsabers and a little more damage than ordinarily expected.
Stealth: A combination of baffleweave and two small universal jammers helps keep the sensor profile of the holster and anything the user happens to use for to an absolute minimum. The cut, while clearly stylish, also helps hide the obvious lines that an underarm holster would normally provide.
Taozin Skin Nodule: Helps obscure the wearer’s presence within the Force.
WEAKNESSES
Cortosis Weave: Resistant to cursory glances means just that. Cursory. Direct or prolonged contact will mess this holster up quite fast, but then given where it is customarily worn, the user will most likely have bigger problems to contend with at that point.
Stealth: Indepth military-grade scans or competent physical pat downs will obviously turn this holster up. The aforementioned cut also only helps disguise the lines when placed beneath a heavy coat, so dress accordingly.
DESCRIPTION
The Paladin features a stylish quad-strap shoulder holster, mounting holsters on both the left and right side beneath their respective armpits. Both are adjustable to better suit the user’s desired method of draw. The design itself is meant to be both comfortable for extended wear, while also easily concealed beneath a heavy jacket or long coat. Spacers leather was chosen as the primary material for its often overlooked rugged durability, although this is further reinforced by an inner layer that has been impregnated with cortosis weave fibers. Adjustable duraplast buckles and fixtures as standard.
As discretion is at the forefront of all TOTT designs (or at least those not specifically meant to explode or cause catastrophic damage), a lining of baffleweave has also been incorporated to obscure and minimise the item’s sensor profile. This is further added by two small universal jammers built into the holsters themselves, allowing the user to bypass most cursory weapon checks provided the relevant security parties don’t get a little handsy.
The Taozin nodule was merely thrown in as part of the new standard for Force Sensitive clients.
