- Power of the Void: The Anomaly utilizes a Lignan Crystal to create a beam of Nether energy. This Nether energy is concentrated and released in a tight stream after a small period of charging and implodes upon impact to do area-of-effect damage, with the capability to seriously harm targets. This area-of-effect implosion creates a temporary dark void in the force that drains the life force of those that are caught in it.
- Armor Untouched: The unique nature of the Anomaly gives the weapon the capability to damage or kill opponents despite whatever armor they are wearing unless the armor is resistant to the Force.
- Long Ranges: With the range of a standard sniper rifle and an advanced sight, the Perfected Anomaly can operate extremely well at long ranges.
- High Worth: The Perfected Anomaly is crafted with extremely expensive and rare materials. On top of that, the unique function of the weapon as well as the fact that its the only one of its kind means that it very valuable outside of combat functions alone.
- Unstable Crystal: While the Lignan Crystal of the Perfected Anomaly grants the weapon extreme power, it comes at the price of making a core that if destabilized could result in the weapon imploding.
- Death is Indiscriminate: The implosion of dark Nether energy is not able to determine friend from foe, meaning that those who aren't careful with the fusion rifle can have friendly-fire incidents. In addition to that, the life-drain of the implosion is not instant, although it has the capability to severely weaken a being upon immediate impact.
- Only drains Life: The Perfected Anomaly only drains life force, meaning it is unable to damage inorganic objects.
- Force-Immune: Targets that are immune or utilize force-neutral technology will not be affected by this weapon.
- Large Size: The Perfected Anomaly is a very large and heavy weapon, making it hard to conceal, reducing mobility, as well as making it difficult to use in close-quarters situations or tight spaces.
Mandalorians are no stranger to power. Some would say they crave it, and others yet would add that it is in the pursuit of power and glory that the Houses of Mandalore have performed many great and terrible feats. But, to wield the power of the Force has long been something that has been either out-of-reach or even considered blasphemous, for the Force itself chooses who is able to use its arcane power. Except there was one anomaly to this rule: the Perfected Anomaly. Forged by an unknown Gunsmith of unknown origin and affiliation -- or perhaps by another being altogether -- records and legends of disputed credibility speak of a longrifle that was able to harness the energies of 'dark magick,' one that created a legacy of death and destruction amongst the clans.
At the height of its power, it was wielded by a mysterious warrior only known as the 'Spiritless Void.' Some scholars suggest that this warrior was secretly sensitive in the force and that the weapon was of her own design, a weapon that could use and augment her own abilities in the Force, and that the legends about it fabricated to add more mystery to the weapon. Without any evidence, however, it is nothing more than speculation. But while there are contradictions about its history, there are no such inconsistencies in the description of its power. Able to harness the power of the life-giving Force, corrupt it, and create vacuums that would drain the life force of those unfortunate enough to be its victim, the Perfected Anomaly was a terrifying weapon. No armor, no shield could protect someone from what drained life itself.
Whether this was merely legend created to scare children, or a true relic simply lost to time is inconclusive. But if the latter is truly the case, then the fact is this: the Perfected Anomaly is a weapon that holds great power. Terrifying, corrupted, anomalous power. But it is still power nonetheless.
