- Organization Name:
- Protectors of Schesa
- Classification: Freedom group
- Affiliation:
- Organization Symbol: A symbol of Schesa with a yellow peace symbol.
- Description: It is unknown how long the Protectors of Schesa have been around or when they were formed, but many say the Protectors are ancient beings who migrated from the far reaches of the Unknown Regions and were the first settlers of Schesa. The protectors of Schesa were originally non-violent and prefered negotiation and diplomacy, however after the Union arrived, they saw it as a corrupt threat incapable of seeing reason.
- Headquarters:
- Domain:
- Notable Assets:
- Various followers/members
- Various Equipment, vehicles, weapons , etc
- Various facilities
- Hierarchy: Simplified and clearly defined Hierarchy leads to easy communication and efficiency.
- High Priest - "connected" to the gods of Schesa, all members follow his words.
- Priest - The highest rank of each sect.
- Schesanna - The regular everyday member.
- Membership: All protectors of Schesa are native born Schesan. Foreigners are not accepted into this..."cult". While members may be recruited, the most traditional and older sects are composed of families whose heritage goes all the way back to the "founders" or those that migrated from the unknown regions to settle.
- Climate: The protectors are broken up into different divisions or sects that have a presence in various areas of Schesa System. Some are friendly while others who are "extremists" prefer to use fear and violence. The protectors generally look down and frown upon foreigners.
- Reputation: The Protectors are not known to many outside of Schesa System, but within the Union, they are extremely well known.
- Curios: Members typically devote their entire time and lives to the activities of the being protectors. Therefore many protectors are generally poor and wear rags for clothes. There is no known uniform. Sects that are violent use rudimentary weapons, typically simple melee and blaster weapons or stolen weapons.
- Rules: Once a protector, always a protector. Protectors are never allowed to leave the system and those that do are branded as "traitors" and exiled from Schesa System. Protectors may not marry, have sexual intercourse, or affiliate with non-native born Schesans. The chain of command is highly valued and therefore coveted.
- Goals: The goals of the protectors are to bring peace back to the people of Schesa System. They "protect" Schesa from those that wish harm to Schesa, the people of Schesa and the artifacts of Schesa.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Before the Zweihander Union invaded Schesa and removed the Pirate lord Baltra and his pirate gang, the freedom organization known as the protectors of Schesa kept peace over Schesa. While the protectors of Schesa were thankful and relieved the Union had overthrown the tyrannical pirate lord, soon after the Union established their capital on Schesa, they believed the Union was just another version of the pirate lord. After the Union became established and set up various garrisons, installations and facilities across Schesa system, the protectors performed several raids, believing Schesa system should be free from any "tyrannical" government. For months, the Union ignored the protectors, claiming them to be a ragtag group of cultists and radicals, and their raids were not significant enough to warrant resources diverted to keeping the pesky protectors at bay. However, after the first year of the Union's control on Schesa system, the protector's raids became more serious. Supply chains were raided, Union personnel harassed, and in extreme cases killed by some sects. The Union wouldn't be able to ignore these "rebels" anymore. A division within Union intelligence was tasked with keeping profiles on all members of the radical organization. Coordinated attacks and raids were conducted on the protector's hideouts and bases.
