The Cinder Hierophant
OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
GENERAL INFORMATION
Stolen from his home by the Twice-Emperor, Venn Kolis returned to his birth-forests of Onderon reborn as a Sith Apprentice. There was nothing left of his village or his Shattered Sword Clan, but their lifestyle and traditions were preserved by their neighbor, the Village of Twin Rivers. It was here that Venn came like an avenging angel to demand a recompense from the spared Twin Rivers Clan: a payment of fang and claw. When he presented his demands to the village's chief, two warriors took his demeanor rather poorly, and threatened Kolis with spears.
For this insolence, the lives of these men were forfeit. Eslo and Targeth were sworn to Kolis' service, and became his bodyguards, shadows, and handlers of his new mounts and beasts. This was the genesis of the Qatilovçu, and the beginning of Venn's own personal following of Sith Eternal cultists. In future battles, the Qatilovçu would expand their ranks, as more warriors from the Twin Rivers Clan (and later, other neighboring tribes) would arrive from Onderon with shipments of more beasts from Onderon's jungles. Eager to serve, these Onderonians would be inducted into the Sith Eternal alongside plum-skinned Keshiri, members of the Keshian Remnant who believed that Venn Kolis and the Sith would reclaim their planet from the scourge of the Bryn'adul.
A beast-rider himself, Venn will always have a fondness for his hunters, though their traditions and teachings are secondary to the eternal doctrine of the Sith. Not solely instruments of death, the Qatilovçu spend time in study and meditation so that they might one day bring nonbelievers into the fold of the Sith religion. Any who should presume to speak out against their preaching will be met by blade and fang.

- Description: These hooded soldiers are the rank-and-file that maintain Venn Kolis' warbeasts: riding them into battle, and laying down their own lives to protect them. The Sith Eternal understand that there is only passion, and that a bloodied warbeast feasting upon your enemies is one of the purest expressions of raw passion.
- Unit Size: Small
- Unit Availability: Common
- Unit Experience: Trained
- Equipment:
- Judicator Blaster Rifles. Highly modular, reliable, facilitate long-range engagement.

- "Scherezade" Vibroswords, making the Hunter deadly at close-quarters.
- Light armor, consisting of an armorweave vest underneath their signature cloak.
- Combat Function: The battlefield role of the Hunter is dependent upon the species of trained warbeast they deploy with. (Venn's hunters care for a wide array of species, but Qatilovçu are only trained/qualified to fight alongside these three.) The most experienced among this hunter caste sometimes deploy accompanied by more than one of these species.
- Ruping: Mounted flying scouts capable of engaging enemy shuttlecraft or strafing infantry.
- Dalgo: Cavalry for trampling ground troops, harrying hostile fortifications, rapid infantry deployment.
- Maalraas: Qatilovçu are typically assigned 3-6 Maalraas, coordinating the pack hunters for tracking, assassination, or shock combat.
- Force Abilities: Any hunter who begins to display Force Sensitivity is swiftly promoted out of the Qatilovçu to grander assignments.
- Swift and Strong: Kolis' Hunters are conditioned from their time spent exercising and bonding with their assigned assets.
- Keen Eyes: Spending all their time around beasts gives the Qatilovçu a rudimentary 6th sense, allowing them to predict others' movements based on nonverbal cues.
- Too Bright: As a consequence of being broken and tamed through Kolis' Sith magic, the animal companions of the Qatilovçu have an inherent fear of Force Light. All but the very bravest and most loyal will flee from any technique using the same, abandoning their handlers.
- The Old Ways: Rooted in their traditionalist training, most Hunters lack advanced technical skill, and are of no use crewing a starship or stealing data from enemy systems; some can barely even manage to repair their own equipment.
