The Quietest Takeover

....It was silence as the Chistori fell. There was no sound as the trigger was pulled. There was no sound as the assassin escaped. No sound as he fled from the lizard's keep. There was nothing as Vork died in his room in the dead of night.....

The assassin had been hired by a party outside of the family still attempting to influence the on goings within the organisation. Their plan was for someone new to take the rule of Noverskaa. Someone more controllable. Less savage. They hoped it would be their yes man who got the position but Vork knew this was coming and had prepared other plans.

Dan Tray a man of vorks trust would meet with Darth Riotous Vorks personal well something to discuss Vorks plans. They agreed it was best as they summoned [member="Corran Conner"] he would be in charge of the facility until the other capos had been informed and made their choices as to who would be next in line for the capo's position.

But before any of that Corran would have to find the killer and put an end to the group troubling them or possibly die himself.

Corran was sleeping when he received a call on his personal communicator. He was to come to the basement in the lizards keep and make sure to tell no one why he was. They could be told where he was going in so far as noverskaa but beyond that he was to remain silent. This was no different to normal for him as he gathered his things and was lead to Noverskaa by Oscar Moondew. Corran never understood why the man would never leave his side. It's not like anyone asked him to stick around. Although he did like the company.

He arrived at the base and asked Oscar to find a lab for him after he went to deal with something important. He seemed happy enough to corran mused as he continued to the basement like he was asked too. There he met two people he hadn't ever seen before and within seconds they brought him up to speed. "Wait so not only is Vork dead but you also want me to run the place till they can decide on someone new and find his killers are you guys barking mad?"

"No I won't do it, I'm not right for the job." That's when the taller of the two spoke "Because he chose you and he has yet to be wrong. He knew he was going to die that there was no way around it because it needs to be you who takes down the organisation that has been killing us from the shadows." Corran hummed for a bit "What if we get someone else to do the job and I run it from the shadows." Both shook their heads. "Dang it alright if this is really what that lizard wanted then so be it. But I can't promise how go I will be."

A few days later and the rest of the family who was in the need to know had received the news a capo had died. Those being the Don and his underboss. The rest were being lead to believe the capo was alive and well and was hunting down a group who had killed a member of the family. Corran had some leads on Noverskaa that he would chase but their was possible leads on coruscant and nar shadar as this organisation had been trying to kill the family and now they would fail.

OOC: Welcome one and all to hunting down this organisation. I have decided I wanted Vork to die for various reasons but wanted to make something out of it for the family. I will run this through where you will hunt people and clues on Noverskaa. Hope you all enjoy happy new year and basically just have fun.

A death in the family, even if she didnt know them or even heard of the person a hunt was called to find the killers, the dragon loved the sound of a hunt and came forth from her other duties to partake. Her recent promotion to soldier saw her involvement more and more within the family to which she gladly served

She chose to take a lead to nar shadda, the capital of scum and crime...she knew this place all to well unfortunately from her teen years. Armored up she stalked the streets on her way to where she would begin her search

The hunt began. The shadowy organisation was in front but Corran was a very intelligent man and wasn't far behind them. His first set of clues had lead him to an area on noverskaa that was somehow strangely missed by the family and the Noverskaan ruling council. It was a small set of caves as he wandered through them looking for more he could smell something on the air.

He eventually came across a small bunker like room with ammo, weapon, armour and other gear. Within sat one man still tied to a chair. He looked up and coughed blood "Kark you I'm not giving you anymore on them or anyone else." Corran looked at him quizzically before replying "Who are you and how can I help you learn about me?" The man groggily looked at him "Oh your not them. Your one of us right? A member of you know who." Corran sighed before nodding "I am and you sir are in massive trouble if you decide not to help me of your own free will."

"Course I will help." The man replied. Corran smiled "Then start from the beginning you are going to share everything you told them, then everything you know about them, then I shall release you." The man did as he was asked giving up all the secrets he had told them. Many which were known by associates some which weren't. Then he shared his secrets on the organisation what it was called and the like. In the end when he was done Corran turned into a wolf and ripped out his throat. One thing he wouldn't stand for was traitors. He wouldn't make the same mistakes the lizard did.

[Candez Stoon]

Candez Stoon had heard of the news. Someone he had trusted had been lost. He wouldn't admit it to anyone, but he had felt like Vorkaliin had been a very close friend of his. Even with all of the remarks of him being small and blue. But this news made him blue. Right in the emotions he usually withheld. So, Candez decided to hit up on some...old friends. He sent a call over to Coruscant, to the leader of the Blue Kaths, hoping to call in a favor. Once the call was made, he went to the next place. To meet up with [member="Corran Conner"] and last he had heard he was headed to the planet of Noverskaa.

The Salty Mynock landed in a docking area. Candez disembarked the vessel, moving to find the other member of the Family. Candez activated his commlink to get into contact while on his way. "Hey, Corral? It's Corral, right? Listen, I'm on Nov to meet up with you. We are going to make whoever did this pay, all right? I'm on my way to you, what's your location right now?"
