The Red Knight and the Mad Scientist

On the Planet Korriban, home of the Sith, the true Sith, in a one of the largest canyons on the planet, there lay a landing platform. Beneath the platform was the Laboratory of Darth Kroma, a Labyrinth of both science and sorcery alike. The subterranean exterior was of a dome shape. And within it, there was Darth Kroma himself, researcher for the Sith Empire, specifically focusing solely on the science of the Force. He was not known for his tactical Military Prowess, however was known for his ability in Sith Alchemy. He provided renowned Sith Lords weapons, armors, and charms that were enhanced by the power of the Dark Side itself. His services were free as his funding came from the Sith Empire.

But his favorite pastime was twisting life. In the Laboratory of Darth Kroma was not huge just to fill his ego. It was huge to keep the monsters in. The Sithspawn. Crafting horrifying and disgusting monsters was something of a true pleasure to the Sith Lord. He had the creatures go through the torture of Dark Side Corruption and then finally transforming them into sheer monsters. Each and every Sithspawn was was caged and subjected to torture by Droid to fuel the Dark Side within them. Those were all who reside in the Laboratory. Sithspawn, many many Droids of all types, creatures captured to be Sithspawn, and lastly Dark Kroma himself.

He stood outside a sell of a rancor. He was shocking it with Sith Lightning, many times over. The Lightning was red and very, very angry. The creature roared in pain, and assumed a submissive position. Though it mattered little, for its torture was to continue.

Hallways ran long and high compared to what Arabris expected of the laboratory, possibly for the reason of creatures too big to be kept in ordinary cells. Or maybe the Sith Lord admired tall things? It could have been a numerous account of things that Arabris did not feel like taking into mind. He was sent to assist the twister of life, an asset to the pureblood.

Finally the walk was interrupted to the sounds of energy crackling with the smell of burning flesh and hide. Turning the corner gave the reason why such things were being perceived by the Red Knight as he clanked his way next to the Sith Lord. Arabris only stopped to bow before the pureblood.

"My lord, Kroma, I am here to serve."

Darth Kroma turned to the man clad in an red metal mass. He was slightly surprised by this. He was seconds away from turning the red crackling energy on him instead. The energy stopped, as did the rancor’s cries, which turned into relieved whimpers. “You must be here for some alchemy I assume?” He looked up in the cage to find that a giant Droid attached to the ceiling. It resembled a spider of some sorts. “Do not let its pain stop.” Darth Kroma pressed a button on the side of the gate, a large iron door slid from above, closing off the sound of the beast’s pain. “Come. To my inner sanctum. We will discuss whatever needs to be discussed in there.

After the long walk through the Laboratory in silence, they had reached the center of it all. It was where Kroma participated in his alchemical experiments if the Dark Side. “How may I be of service to you?”

The lab was much more spacey than Arabris had anticipated for such things that would need to be done, but then again, the Sith Knight was no scientist. Kroma, in all his darkness, was actually more pleasant, and seemed eager to make new things with the Dark Side than any other Sith Lord he had met so far. Arabris also wondered if the pureblood was just happy to have company, the Red Knight did not imagine he got many visitors. When he was asked what could be done for him, the Nagai stood there for a moment, dumb founded more so than anything. No one asked that of him, no one offered him anything.

"Do you think, m'lord, it possible to create a back up weapon should my halberd ever break? Im comfortable with any form of weapon. Maybe, an axe?"

As honest as the man could be, he gave the Sith Lord his answer. Arabris held no real attachment to anything, and for these things to be made, there was usually as personally awe of bewilderment to the objects. For the knight, they were tools, special tools he respected greatly, but they were tools. As part of the Harbingers, he was more eager to be duty the Emperor's biding, but even then there was down time without a call to arms.

“I insist a Helberg than most weapons. Than almost any weapon. It's one of the most versatile weapons one can equip for melee. By far. I must have one somewhere around here…”

Kroma walked over to a wall. He flipped a switch. The wall opened to find dozens of placed weapons and gems. Swords, maxes, and axes. Among them there was one Helberg. Using the Force, he had the weapon levitate off its place, and into his hand. “Now for the most basic of all alchemical weapons. The Force.”

He channeled the Force within himself. The Dark Lord leaned in towards the weapon, chanting an incantation. He opened his mouth, and a black fog began to pour its way into the weapon, engulfing it. It would appear as if the weapon had began to soak up they black fog like a sponge. “And now…this is a weapon of the Dark Side. Able to withstand blaster fire. And of course, a Lightsaber belonging to a pathetic Jedi.” Using the Force once again, the Poleaxe floated over to him. “This is a basic weapon of the Dark Side. But I can…add other features to it if you so please.”
