The Resistance

Ession, Voss, Gravlex Med, Mon Calamari, Mandalore...

The list goes on, catastrophes large and small, all afflicted by the Sith Empire. Under the Sith tyrants have flourished, the Zygarean Slave Empire has flourished, and those that step out of line are silenced and vanish forever. Work camps produce raw materials for their war machine as it moves ever forward and the injustices delivered on its inhabitants go on un-answered.

But no more.

Rise from the ashes.

Join the Resistance and fight for the future.

OOC: So what am I trying to do with this group? There have been several resistance groups on Chaos but I hope to bring some people in on this by offering a hopefully better set up than previous groups. I want to actually set this up as a sub-faction OF the Sith Empire. What does this mean? It means we join the Sith as people they can add to their writter count on one hand, but also I want a group of people that actually have a stake in fighting for and staying IN Sith Empire space during and "after" the Rebellion. People who aren't from some far off system that has nothing to do with the Sith Empire.

I want a true Grassroots rebellion. People from Mon Cala, from Ession, from Bastion, people affected by the Sith Empire's tyranny. Will you join me in this endeavor?

This thread is to help organize and codify some of the small and large "rebel" bases

Concord Dawn [Moon]

The rebel base in the Concord Dawn system was well hidden. Packed with mineral and metal rich debris from an ancient war, it was notoriously difficult scan the system for warships which and hard to maneuver if one was unfamiliar with the territory. There were several old hangars dispersed through the debris and belt with some having been old mining or even older military bases from when the moon was whole.

The asteroid belt made it difficult to maneuver large vessels and so the Mandalorian resistance mostly utilized Fang fighters and other easily accessible vessels that were small or maneuverable enough to fight or flee in through the field.

Iceberg I

Third son of the Calamari system, this frozen, largely lifeless world had historically been left unsettled by the amphibious species that called Dac/Mon Cala home. After the brutal Sith occupation of Mon Cala and the last ditch mass exodus of rebellious sympathizers, those who survived the Sith blockade returned to settle the world, burrowing deep below the ice and hiding on the planet's moon. Right under the Sith's nose they continued to build small fighters and managed to hide a very small fleet, tethered in the shadow of Iceberg I's single moon. The base below the ice was also a modern mon cal marvel and held dozens of medical facilities and functioned as a colony. Rebels back on the home world often helped those persecuted by the Sith Inquisition smuggled them below the ice.

Lothal

A world with Rebellion in its blood, Lothal has seen a heavy occupation with star destroyers hanging over the manufacturing outer rim world. While the rebellion here is low level and contained mostly to drunken brawls and hushed tones at family dinners. The ancient and abandoned Jedi temple, long since abandoned, was a hotbed of Sith activity.

Though despite the centuries since the original Rebellion against the Galactic Empire, Lothal has seen minimal growth and as such the hills were largely unexplored. Those that would fight the Sith with blasters and their wits hid out there. Guarded by the Loth Wolves who have seen a resurgence since the ancient Rebellion, they "Wolf Riders" have been a thorn in the local Prefect.
