MALACHOR V

It had been some time since Circe had been in contact with her apprentice. "Some time" was in this case a bit longer than Circe preferred to be away from her apprentice, and as such, she had summoned the woman to her laboratory at Malachor V. Not only did she desire an update - and possibly more - from her apprentice, but the woman's skills regarding sorcery to help with a new creation.

The Adamith Skeletons.

The transport landed and a hooded figure emerge from it. Heat gripped the surroundings, protected only by ray shields and transparisteel glass that lined the walls. The figure turned and made their way up the hallway leading into the building ahead. Doors opened and the person stepped through. Heat was replaced by condensed air, which was cool in comparison to the outside. Chalk white hands emerged and lifted to the robes cowl to reveal strands of blonde hair and an equally as white face.

Darth Ayra had resurfaced on Malachor V. Her yellow eyes met her the other woman inside. "Hello Master."

"You must've been a busy little bee, Alicia... I haven't heard from you in months." She sighed. "One would almost think that you had been off following your own agenda without me. That would make me quite sad..." She frowned, slipping behind her apprentice before rubbing her shoulders with her hands. "I called you here because I require your assistance. I am working on the creation of a brand new form of Sithspawn undead - one that should prove to be quite useful against these Republic troopers. Have you ever heard of Sith Undead?"

She opened up a nearby wooden, inside of which were the bones of an unfortunate Sith Acolyte. "Many of the students here died. The training was too rough for them. But their remains will be of use to me."

She smiled. "After our encounter with Rave Merrill, the witch began looking for me. So I disappeared until she stopped looking. Now that I am back I am going to plug the leak in our plan and then get back to work." Her eyes turned to the corpse. "I think it's about time you showed me some of the dark aspects of the Force, don't you master?"

Alicia grinned cheekily.

"Indeed... And here's how I'll do such." She reached into the sarcophagus, taking the skull of the skeleton out as she picked up a small energy crystal. Placing the skull on top of a nearby table, she forced the crystal through it with a good deal of strength, impaling it deep inside the skull, between the eye sockets. With a pair of tongs, she then grasped the skull and moved to dip it into a nearby pit of molten adamithium. This she did for several seconds before removing the skull - now coated with molten and dripping metal - from the furnace before setting it down on a tray to cool. Tossing another pair of tongs to Alicia, she motioned for her apprentice to begin doing the same to the other bones in the skeleton.

"We want to coat this entire skeleton with Adamithium. Once the process is done, we can begin the ritual to place a spirit in its body."

Alicia took the tong in hand, picked up an arm and went to dip it into the adamithium. A question came to mind as she went to dip it in for the few seconds. "How comes the bone just doesn't break apart or something in the adamithium?"

"Sith magic." She chuckled. "Besides, do you think I'd waste my time forging an exact replica of their skeleton out of iron? Far be from it to overcomplicate such a thing..." Soon the two of them had a complete skeleton, coated with solid adamithium. "Alright... So we've got the body. All we need to do now is one thing - we need to give it a soul and bind it to our will. Would you like to perform that ritual?"

In truth, if anything went wrong, Circe would make sure Alicia survived it.

She handed Alicia a scrap of paper. On it were ancient writings, writings of a method used to summon the spirits of the dead Sith. "Read this, and put your hand on the skull."

She read the paper and copied it's instructions, performing the ritual over the body. Spirits began to form around the Sith Apprentice and her Master. Ayra lowered her palm onto the skull and continued the ritual. The spirits that rose around them soon became tied to the body, as per the intention. The datacron provided by Daemos on Darth Nox's ability helped Darth Ayra. She was no means near mastering the technique, but she knew of it; and the only way to progress was to do things like this.

She finished the ritual and looked up tiredly to Pandeima.

"That was... a surprisingly good job." She noticed that the crystal in the head was illuminated, indicating that at least one of the spirits had been successfully bound to the skeleton. "But go for fewer spirits next time... If more than one spirit is in here, there's a good chance that, since the spirits will likely not cooperate with one another, it may go crazy."

And with that, the eyes of the creature lit up. "Well... What do you want to arm it with?"

"Well, it was my first time Master." She looked down at the new creation. Her eyes surveyed it's body and she replied. "I wouldn't know. I'm not as imaginative as you."

"I'm thinking something light... probably an armorweave vest. They can vary in whether they use lightsabers or disruptor pistols, but ultimately, it won't matter. They'll all be far too durable for any typical soldier to deal with. They don't die, after all." She gave a sinister grin, pleased to know that her construct would continue to survive.

"Now we just have to wait for it to solidly animate."

And so they waited. She began to speak whilst the animated object before them began to slowly rise. "I'll be disappearing for a while Darth Pandeima and I won't be back for some time. This is not the end of our Rule of Two, but as for my apprenticeship under you, I believe I have surpassed that position some time ago."

"When I return I'll be in a better position. All you need know is that I intend to continue the imperative set to us by the Banites."

Ayra lifted her gaze. She had spoken without looking at Pandeima, but now her eyes were on the Sith Lords. "Before I leave, there is a woman that has come to my attention. Someone that has joined the One Sith and who I believe might become an asset to you and us. Not a replacement, but rather a stand in."

She grinned. "No doubt you've already heard and probably met her already, knowing you. After this is done, we'll be heading to Sojourn to meet with them."

"Sounds like a plan to me... We are no longer Master and Apprentice. Now... we are equals." She smiled, slinking towards her fellow Sith Lord and giving the woman a gentle kiss on the cheek. "I'm going to miss you for the time that you'll be gone, that I can guarantee. But I'll think fondly of you. Not to mention have many things for you when you get back. Promise." Her eyes twinkled in delight.

She had things to work on.

"Soon the stars will align and we will have our revenge on the galaxy." Her eyes lowered back to the creature that laid between them. "What do you think we should equip this creation with? Something Lightsaber resistant, possibly?"
