WEAKNESSES
  • Beacon of the Dark Side: The ring is a beacon of the Dark Side and thus anyone who is around can sense him when he's wearing the ring.
  • Force Light: Force Light would be effective against the ring.
  • Lightsabers: It really isn't armor, and so any Lightsaber could destroy it.
  • Force Nullification: Force Nullification could render the ring powerless - making it able to be removed.
  • Symbiosis: Damage to the Ring is damage to the user. Should the ring be destroyed, it would cause severe damage to him. Should it be suppressed, it would cause severe damage to him as well.
Mixed Bag:

Aura of Fear: The ring produces an aura of Fear that is detectable by anyone who is around him. It makes him more fear inspiring. (Requires OOC consent.) It however makes him more likely to get attacked, as well.

DESCRIPTION
A ring that was forced onto his finger when he was old enough to use the Force by his dad. This ring is steeped in the dark side of the Force and serves a singular purpose. It is to force him to live up to the family legacy of being "Sith". The ring's basically "Attached" to his finger despite his best efforts to get the ring to come off. It also zaps him any time he does something out of a desire to genuinely help others, rather than to further a scheme. Basically any time it even looks like he is trying to redeem himself from the Dark Side the ring will zap him.

Alright first to start you are three ratings over and that will need to be changed.

Bonded to User: No matter what Lord Palfrus does, the ring will always reappear unharmed in his possession unless he were to give it away or it were to be destroyed.

Teleportation is a powerful thing but you have no other mention or means for it to be done aside from here. Explain.

Dark Side Blasts: The ring when he is committed to the Dark Side of the Force can discharge blasts of dark side energy from it that pack a powerful punch.

Force destruction is a powerful technique. Is the ring itself creating the blasts or enhancing the users ability to use them?

Force Lightning: Self Explanatory.

It does need an explanation, does it create it, enhance it, absorb it?

Enhancement: This enhances Dark Side Force Powers the user utilizes.

What abilities does it enhance that is vague enough to easily be abused.

Thermal Blasts: The ring can shoot blasts of thermal energy as well that have a good amount of cutting power.

So you are firing lightsabers essentially?

Shockwave: When the fist wearing the ring is slammed into the ground, it can produce a shockwave that is powerful enough to potentially knock any within the Radius of 25 Feet onto their keister.

So on top of everything it already has it can also create a shockwave with the force and there is no drawbacks or consumption of energy?

Concussive Beams: Should the user not wish to kill, it can release concussive beams that pack the power of the punch of a Wookie.

And how is it working to create and focus concussive beams? How long can it last? How draining to the user can it be?

So the ring is sentient to be able to determine this morality? What metric does it use as a sith doesn't always have to be a mustache twirling villain to be evil. Palpatine did plenty of good in the scheme to better position himself and make sure his ultimate goal of galactic domination was completed.

Your weaknesses are largely unbalanced compared to the strengths. Infinite ammo essentially with the force and the ring doesn't drain the user or have largely negative effects. Someone striking it on his finger is more an after thought as they would be trying to disarm him rather then know if they damage the ring it will hurt him.

That is from the first run through, you have a lot of work and if I am honest a sentient ring that has little drawbacks to using it and has an unknown metric to measure morality. Your weaknesses don't reflect anything that gives drawbacks to using the ring while it on the other hand enhances everything and additionally can be used for ranged attacks.

There is going to be a lot of edits needed for this.
