The Rogues Of Light and Dark Clash

Naboo/Night

It had indeed been a beautiful day but Jericho wasn't able to completely enjoy it for the weather. The battlefield never cared for weather. So for this instant Jericho did not care for the weather. He sat motionless meditating at an old abandoned temple far from any civilization as he enjoyed. Jericho channeled within himself and stilled his inner mind. Time was nothing at this point. What seemed like minutes had turned into an hour, and he felt nothing but the slight breeze. Sounds did not reach him. The ringing of the bells did not reach him.

Jericho had become stiff and opened his eyes. Standing up slowly, his sabers leapt from the ground next to him. Without a sound he left the temple and went to stretch his muscles. For the next hour or two, he wandered the deeper into the temple, as he usually did in between the time he trained and meditated. From the average human onlooker, he seemed more beast than man. He was large standing at 6'5 Had an muscular build and large frame, even with his batte torn robes covering his person. He had his three sabers and sack fill with grenades another usual tech. His already stern look on his face covered by his combat breathing mask. Still the look in his eyes seemed murderous,

But to anyone trained to study others, they would see a calm and collected man with intense focus. After a few moments of stretching and closed his eyes and whispered to himself, "Master... guide my blade." He slid out one his single edged sabers and readied it, his stance in perfect form. He feel a presence with darker intent around him and felt like he had to steel himself for battle. "I suggest you ready your weapon." The voice was disconnected and cool. The voice was completely unremarkable. But as many would look ready and nervous to fight, the ghost had only a blank stare. He blinked a few times. He needed to blink now. Every moment in the fight is crucial. Every move. Every step. Every feign and block and strike is important. Now it was time to fight and Jericho waited.

Naboo.

As much as I drank water to survive, I did not like an abundance of it near me. Pools for example were not my greatest friend. I wanted to drink water, not wade and play around in it simply because "it feels good." I mean, I didn't take drugs for the same reason. I didn't like them, even if people say the same things about them. it was almost common sense to me. Instead, I was making my way inside a Temple. Nobody was in here. Even still, I held in my hand the double bladed lightsaber. Not on or activated, I wore my robes. Crimson in color, as well as the mask that would protect my face from some weapons. I felt.... strange. Almost as though I was not meant to be here.

It was then that I felt a presence. Almost daunting against me. Wanting to face me. Slowly it came closer and closer, Moving to the shadows, I allowed the darkness of the overhand to hide who I was. Knowing that whoever they were was coming for me. I held my lightsaber in my hands almost as though I was standing at attention. When he told me to ready my weapon. I smiled brightly as the twin red blades activated with a pop hiss. Illuminating my body in it's light. I was ready.

"Oh come Shadow of the Night. Come and face the Rose with many thorns."

A broad grin formed on Jericho's lips hidden under his mask, a flash of eagerness glowing within the large orbs that were his eyes. A rumbling sigh escaped his throat as he looked the warrior of the rose, up and down. The crimson light from his double-bladed saber cut through the darkness within the temple revealing the person who was standing before him. From the moment of the light showing he knew what he was going up against. Another Sith, the type he was more than use to facing off against. But would this Sith be the one to defeat him or be like many and retreat from his prowess in battle?

He analysed his opponent, scrutinizing his every feature and forming plans within his mind. It was a smart move keeping it a weapons fight, the man before didn't look like the type who would survive in a fist match against someone of Jericho's bulk and speed, thought he was just an assumption. Jericho had to guess that the man was going to maintain a distance and avoid his grasp. That would be the wise move comparison to a frontal attack. Jericho wasn't by any means a muscle bound fool but rather was already developing and evaluating the wide range of outcomes in his mind. He attempted to calculate formulations within his mind, he didn't want to be caught entirely off-guard during the match.

Seeing that his foe was using a double-bladed saber, he was thinking switch to his own double-bladed, a more natural feel for him, but then he paused. "No. I have to see the skill he possesses first." He murmured, mostly to himself as he placed his double-bladed saber back down on his back keeping his saber and pulling out his other single edged saber the colors of blue and purple now lighting the temple. "But, It would be better not to underestimate him." He thought as he switched his stance.

The atmosphere went from fairly peaceful basking into the light force of Ashlan to incredibly tense, but Jericho was no stranger to this feeling, he has battle many in duel and was in on the battlefield more than most jedi should. Slowly he began to bounce mixing his style with that of the echani martial arts. "They call me the Ghost." He stated calmly in retort of the statement made by his foe and in that instant. Jericho charged in with a flurry but saber strike aiming for his head and legs but ultimately aiming a heel sidekick to the man's sternum.

I smiled brightly in the silence as I could hear the shadow man murmur under his breath. I could not hear him completely but understood that he was talking about me. His taller size meant that he would have a power and strength advantage over myself. That was true, but I was not one to simply be alone without power. Hidden under my cloak was my left arm. Powerful and much stronger in ways that I could punch through steel. Without feeling the pain of doing so. Nor was I one to attack straight out. Much as he did. Activating his two blades, Purple and blue, I smiled intently as he charged me. At the last second, I turned off my saber, letting it drop onto my belt as I jumped and grabbed the railing above my head. Leaning forward, to let my legs soar over his lightsaber strikes, and kick out at him with both feet. Moving completely over his attack before I pushed myself off of the railing, and as I landed, lifted my hands to raise a earthen wall where the fallen door once was.

it was a small separation between the two of us, But it would not be for long as I used both hands to launch out a force push at the wall. With the breaking and separating of pieces, it would be like blowing up a Frag grenade at his face. Only, this one was made out of the force, and not man made materials. "Ghost or no Ghost, Nobody touches a rose without getting a prick from the thorns." Corny I know, stupid analogies of a Rose as that was what I called myself. Seeing as how I had somewhat good looks, with my left arm, being the perverbal thorns.

Rose, as he called himself, abandoned the use of his saber altogether and try a different method of facing off with the giant of a man. The rose man revealed that he was very agile jumping up and grabbing a railing above his head. Before Jericho could force pull the railing and making the man fall, kicked out and jumped over his saber strikes landing behind him. But he didn't just stop there, he was smart enough to use the broken down environment around them to his own advantage. He made a wall and then used it as ammo using force push to break it down and strike with it.

It was wise for Jericho not to let his guard down against this foe. In that split second, instinct took over and he focused on the main pieces of rubble that would do the most damage using his saber to slashes through as he jumped and spun away from the other pieces. Aside from bits and pieces hitting his thick armor and dust cover his robe he was left mostly unscathed. With his mask filtering the dust, his breathing remained normal, with a deep breath in and slow exhale he commenced his attack once more.

Enhancing his own speed he charged at the man with a flying knee with his sabers up to close the distance and made a combination spinning around with his sabers as a distraction and once he landed on his feet he aimed a force push at him, hoping that it would send him into a wall.

My attack did what I wanted. It pushed him back enough to show that I was not going to be easily defeated, or killed. I smiled as I could see through the hole of the door frame the man who called himself "Ghost." His face somewhat visible in the light of his blue and purple sabers. Launching himself at me, I prepared for him. With how he had moved back and away from the initial attack of the wall that blew up in his face, I allowed myself enough room to be ready. With how large the man was, I expected some frontal assault to try and push me back. The ground behind me shook slightly as his sabers came for me, Forming a brace that ran up the length of my calf to the back of my knees. Holding me there should he try a large or powerful strike.

My double bladed lightsaber came up in defense, but that did not matter as my chest erupted in a force push. I was flung backwards despite the brace on my legs, it only made the situation worse. I was flung backwards end over end. Instead of flying straight back, I used my saber to stab into the ground and came to a stop on my stomach with one blade hilt deep in the ground. Looking up, I could see the looming figure already going to try and come after me. being on the ground was not a good situation. The hilt deep saber shut off as my off hand launched a string of blue lightning against the man. Providing me time to get up to my feet.

Jericho made his attack and despite the Rose’s effort to stand his ground he was flew backward but skillfully, or instinctively, used his saber to keep him from continue to fly back into the wall. Thus, it kept Jericho from pinning Rose with a barrage and taking his head right then and there. This was going to be a good and long battle, but as of yet, Jericho’s blood was not pumping from the rush of battle. Not yet.

Again, he charged at the Sith in hope to give the warrior no time to breath and get up but for a slight moment his charge was halted, or rather slowed, as a surge of lightning came at him. It was a good response tactic to divert more time to get a better footing. But Rose was going to have to do better than just good to keep this monster Lorrdian off of him. Still, telling from the skill the rose had shown, he was at least knight level, Jericho would have to keep in mind of any trump cards his foe might have.

Keeping that in mind, in response to the warriors attack Jericho spun himself changing his charge route at an angle using a nearby rail to push himself back to the warrior. All while doing that with his movements he used one of his sabers to block the lightning from hitting him. Leaving him with a free saber to strike, while in the air he did an aerial and he did a downward strike with his saber aiming for the man’s head. But that wasn't his true intention he used his momentum to aim a knee strike to his upper back. Although the man had already gotten up he hoped that this would slam him back down.

The man was fast I could give him that. However his tactic of moving around me I have seen before. I'n fact, I had preformed a variation of that move to avoid a lightsaber that was thrown at me. While he had moved around me, I smiled as he was now coming at my back. My force senses kicked in. Almost as though I was seeing myself in a third person view, I could see a knee coming for my back as well as a saber primed to cleave me in half. Smiling did an about face. A twist of my hips as I was currently on my knees, and a slide of my blade out while a off hand using a force push to keep his knee away, Our two sabers clashed together.

The pure force of his body weight was nice and hard against my own. Bringing my own red blade down to be inches from my face. With a smile, my left hand came to the inactivate end of the saber. With an eight of a twist the saber split into two different sabers. I activated the second saber now, and slashed it out of his legs, as surely by now, they should be on the ground.

Despite the fact if I made contact with his legs or not, I pushed up with my arm, and legs to re-leave stress on my body. As well I was freakishly strong with my left hand. The same hand that was in the saber lock. "For a ghost, you are mighty real."

Smart. He used the force to divert his knee strike as well as block his saber attack simultaneously, by using momentum to continue his defense. It would seem that Jericho was getting an exciting battle after all. He could help it a smirk began to form upon his lips, he was going to actually have to start fighting soon. But he could let this cloud this judgement and way of fighting. As always he was going to remember his goal in hand which was now at this point capture this sith and pry information from his lips. Before he could continue his attack the man's saber spilt right before his eyes and formed two saber just as he. Cunning, but it would mean he would be half the strength in each blade, and from physical might alone Jericho own this realm. At least so he thought.

WIth opposing force he began to push down on the saber lock, Jericho was natural with his body but he was stronger with his left side which threw many off balance. But his charge was stopped, they were even?! What manner of beast was he? To be able to hold a saber lock with someone as strong as himself! This was the trump card the man had, he could either enhance his own strength like Jericho could or could it be some else.....He did not know. Either way he had to move quick a strike was coming straight for his leg, Jericho made a quick grunting noise and switch how he held his handle and parried the strike away using his foe's momentum against him.

Using his time preciously he again force push against to launch him across in the air. Using his foes strength and weight, he kept on the saber lock to guide him behind his foe wasting no time he did a sick kick to the back of his knee and again force pushed him away. "As real as I am, I will really have to watch out for your thorns." He stated calmly getting into his stance once more.

I smiled as I was pushing up with my left arm. Even while he continued to push on, I still got up to my feet. I could almost see the surprise on his face as I was able to become his equal in strength. While my second saber was headed towards his legs, with a flash his own saber was there. stopping mine dead. With both sabers in locks of their own, I smiled greatly as he used a force push on me. I could not protect myself from the blast. As such, I flew back with him following me. However, he had one problem. if he could not keep up with me, then he could not strike.

I smiled as we both flew back and with hands pushing back, I sent my own force push. Acting on myself, I pushed myself past his attacks that followed. Now with his own back to me, I turned off my right saber while connecting the two pieces once more, and lashed out with the force on his own right leg. I could feel the force flow through me as I grabbed his leg to crush down on his bones and muscles. yes it would be painful. and if he knew how to act past it then he could with things such as a force barrier on his leg. However, he would also have to protect his back again as I lunged at him with my saber. Aiming to pierce his heart from his back.

"Thorns are not the worst that I can offer ghost."

[member="Jericho"],

Apparently not.

The man that called himself rose was indeed a monster in his own right showing great athleticism. After being sent several feet back by his force push, made a similar strike by trying go for his back but not until after he feel the force crush his right leg. His eyes squinted with pain as he felt his muscle and bone feel like they were being mesh into one. The warrior dropped to a knee, almost wanted to scream from the pain, Jericho underestimate his foe for an instant as few knew force crush and he himself only used it to crush droids.

But the rose underestimated Jericho's pain tolerance, fighting ability and imagination on how to make his own style. When the rose reconnected his saber back into one and tried to aim for his back, Jericho used force speed to increase his spin as well force strength and deflect the strike to leave him wide. "This is true, I never expect to take this much damage at one time, but never underestimate a ghost." He stated calmly, grimly staring in to the eyes of his foe. While using one saber to parry the strike, he with his other he did a horrifying downward slash, in this instant the rose had this choice or his left arm.

[member="Nickolas Imura"] (hope this was fair! Lemme know if you want to discuss this! ^___^)

I smiled as I came oh so close to him. Almost hitting him, but that only mattered in horseshoes and hand grenades. The man increased his speed significantly, and was able to withstand the pain that was brought to him. While my saber was smacked wide away from myself, I was open, with only one blade in one hand, His saber came down to my left arm. Open and wanting my blood. It was only in a split second thought, but I had to do something.

I did not want to reveal another ace in my sleeve. As such, I used the force in my left hand, while letting the saber go in my right. It was in a flash of movement where my saber moved to my left hand and grabbed upside down to cover my arm as his saber came down. and I watched as the two blades clashed once more. I let the blade slide off and away from me safely as I used the force push from my now empty right hand directed at the center of his chest.

However, it was concentrated. Much so to the point where it was thin to the point of being the size of a human male fist coming at him faster than any man could ever let his fist fly.

(Nah you are good. I like a challenge)

So he maneuvered his saber from one hand to the next sucessfully blocking Jericho strike within a split second. Then the rose switched to the aggressive in that instant. Splendid, this warrior was going to teach him much for one on one duels such as this. He was fast and his tactics were greatly used. But Jericho was a sith hunter for a reason, it wasn't just a title to be had. He wasn't going to be able to block the rose's attack and he was much too close to dodge, but the was right where he needed to be.

He faced to the right arm of the rose and released a mighty force bellow concentrated to his arm. "ROSE." He bellowed using it as a concentrated force push from his mouth, enough to divert the blow from his chest. Now it was his turn to make a move, with his free hand he took out his second saber; too push Jericho to use Jar'kai showed how dangerous of a foe this man really was. As he made his move he increased his own strength with the force pushing down on rose trying to limit his movement all the while activating his second saber he faked he downward strike to the man's right arm, while his true objective to take is right leg.

[member="Nickolas Imura"] (sorry for taking forever!)

This man really was good. Able to defend against a force push that was concentrated to the size of a fist, and then used his speed to attack me. His first saber connected with the one I had on. While the bottom half was off, and no real way for me to activate, detach it, and then defend myself all at once, I smiled as a second saber from the inside of my boot, placed on the outside of my right leg, flew to my hand. The hilt was ornate and almost a deep blue color. In this light however, it was a black as the blade ignited once more in a reverse grip to block the second saber.

I smiled richly as the black lightsaber blade for my second saber hummed with almost a throm, as well as the crystal in the hilt glowed with an intense brightness. "No need to yell at me." Commenting about his yelling of my name in the use of a force push just seconds ago. I smiled as we were in a saber lock with two sabers. Only, I had three and he had two. The bottom end for my double bladed saber activated with a touch of the force as my left hand twisted to slid down his saber, and send the opposite end towards his chest.

He was open. With one on my red saber, and one on my black, and the other end of the double bladed lightsaber. for his chest, it was the opportune time to strike at him.
