Hello everyone, dropping in with another character for an idea I have been working with, and I honestly desire more stories.
The Saber Initiative is the brainchild of Gil Horn to help deal with the growing threats facing the Galactic Alliance and other allied nations. With the core surrounded on all sides, the military of the GA is spread thinly against all the enemies, and with the Senate at times not able to make decisions in a timely manner, Gil decided a more immediate and flexible response was needed. Taking inspiration from Galactic Alliance commando units, the Saber Initiative focuses on creating small, elite teams of Jedi to be deployed where they are needed, when they are needed, and with the equipment, training and experience to handle threats that would otherwise require larger more organized military responses.
The first test bed unit of the Saber Initiative is the aptly named Strike Team Saber. Led by
Kahlil Noble
as the first Saber Commander, and supported by Gil Horn as his second in command, they have begun efforts to gather the first team together to see if the methods and idea of the Saber Initiative can be fruitful. Future units can be formed if the idea gains enough traction, with possible names including Strike Team Aurora, Strike Team Phoenix and others as people desire.
