- Description: A proud people of massive stature, the Sandali appear as near-humans with bronze to dark brown skin. Born in their worlds shadowlands, these people often have chalky pale skin, adorned with numerous types of tribal markings depending on where they hail from. Most Sandali have black hair and brown eyes, however it is not unknown for some of them to have blue, green, and even grey eyes. Another difference between the Sandali and their human counter-parts is the Sandali tend to be larger in stature and build.

- The Healing Factor: The Sandali's bodies have rapid metabolisms that transfer to their ability to heal as well. On their own a Sandali can slowly regenerate any minor wounds in a matter of hours. Major wounds can be healed in weeks depending on the severity, this healing can be sped up with meditation or medical comatose.
- Larger than Life: Unlike most near-humans the Sandali's size is not scaled between four and five feet of height. All Sandali men are expected to reach at least six feet in height if not more, their muscle mass and BMI respond accordingly making them a rather large people. Growth for females is very similar because they are generally expected to be at least five feet in height and often reach six feet.
- Born in Darkness: The Sandali have trained from birth in fighting from the Shadow's, making them very capable agents and infiltrators. Though once a Sandalian has reached his prime he begins to grow into his full size, rendering him more conspicuous than he was as a boy.
- The Force Commands: Many Sandali are born with a sensitivity to the Force, allowing them to reach out and bend it to their will with the proper training.
- Reproduction Danger: The Sandali's delicate physical nature makes successfully having children a very dangerous process. Over the years they have learned their advanced growth can be harmful to both the fetus or it's host. They have learned to use mediation rituals to limit and control the growth of the Fetus so that it has a better chance of survival, but even then there is still only a 45% chance of success.
- Medical Hazard: Using modern medical technology can sometimes be detrimental to the Sandali. Their bodies are known to react negatively to most common drugs and medicine's, because of this anesthesia and pain killers are not an option. Though Bacta has few incidents recorded it is not advised to use large amounts when treating a Sandali.
- Mental Stability: Born with the ability to use the Force and tap into it's nether the Sandali are a truly gifted people. However, the Dark Side of the Force naturally surrounds the warriors, often tempting them to abandon their heritage and tether to the Light. Because of this there is a natural instability that is brought from this struggle between dark and light. Sandali warriors are often known to either fall to the Dark Side or lose their minds to this struggle. Only the most disciplined maintain both their heritage in the light and their sanity.

Common Life: The Sandali are a warrior culture who believe in living and dying by the blade. As such, all members of their society are trained from birth to be capable warriors. When a Sandalian comes of age {13} they are pitted against a set of trials. Depending on those trials they can be separated into the Warrior or Economy caste. From there they will fulfill the duties of their caste until the day they die. A Shujaa, or true warrior, believes that he brings the gods honor through combat and the defense of his people. All blood spilled honors the gods, regardless of intent or meaning, however all lives are sacred and the blood spilled should be through a valiant fight. - Mating: Sandali warriors must earn their mates through ritual combat. This Ndoa ceremony exists so that the warrior can prove he is worthy of his mate. In the event one warrior spies another of the opposite sex and wishes to take him/her as a mate there are several ways for it to occur. A warrior who wishes to marry another would make their deceleration known. If any other warrior in the village wishes to fight for the right to marry the person the warrior selects it will be made known and the instigating warrior will duel all who challenge him. This has been known to take weeks or even months as the warriors most both be of equal health during the duel. If no other warrior challenges the man then the selected mate may opt to fight him themselves, to remain sovereign and unwed. If the intended mate loses then they would be wed and that night another form of ritual combat would occur, sealing the marriage and commencing a traditional bedding.
- Economy: The Sandali economy is held up with a large hunter-gatherer system that is maintained by the Working Class. Those who show no affinity for the ways of combat or are no longer capable of such, are tasked to become part of the Working class. The larger of the Sandali's classes, they take care of the day to day responsibilities of the people such as hunting, building, and farming when possible. Most Sandali workers have long, thin, and sharply defined tattoos representing the long days of work they have done in their lifetime. Workers who failed to rise to the title of warrior at their coming of age are given an opportunity every five years to once again try to rise in status, via a trial of combat. Few truly pass this task.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION
The planet of Sandala has never been known for it's resources or it's technological advancements. In fact the only thing of not on the near-barren world is the Sandali. Near-humans who follow a strict warrior code, the men and women of this planet have been bathed in blood and war.
The Sandali are larger than the average near human. Most ranging near seven feet in height, their size is one of the things that commonly sets them apart. They have dark, bronze skin and deep black hair. Most have dark brown or hazel eyes. The World of Sandala was harsh, unforgiving. A mass of dark jungles and shadowlands, it has crafted the Sandala into powerful warriors who use the darkness to their advantage. No matter how far back you go in Sandalian history you will find the same thing. War. Even from the beginning when the Sandali people were nothing more than tribal clans scattered over Sandala's surface they waged war n each other ruthlessly. Believing that combat was the greatest honor to the gods, each Sandalian is properly shaped to destroy his/her enemies. The first clans sought to destroy each other, however in time these clans would settle into a tenative peace on their homeworld.
This peace was effectively shattered when a vicious plague ravaged the planet of Sandala. It cut down the people in droves, leaving only a few scattered clans to rebuild the planets populace. Following this massive plague, The Sandali people reconstructed their scattered clans into the first society to rule over the world's lands. The Sandali Empire was something never before seen on the world. It was the first time where the different cultures and warriors of the seperate clans came together in peace. This peace allowed the formation of the first Sandali religion, Nija, which combined multiple Sandali deities from different tribes.
With the formation of the Nija, the Sandali looked to their religious leaders, the Shamans to guide them. The shamans were powerful masters of the Force who utilized it's power to craft the future of the Sandali. The Shamans set up a number of classes and positions to better dictate Sandali hierarchy. With their leadership, the Sandali people were able to recover from the wrath of the Gulag plague and defend themselves against extinction.
