Daak Dakaara
The Not-Quite-Captain of the Smoked Opal
Hello artists! Thank you for opening my thread!
Here I will ask for you to put your tremendous talent (even a little artistic talent is more than I have) to the task of creating me something for my character, Daak Dakaara. If I could get a profile pic to replace the goofy little lego dude I've been using, plus a signature, I would eternally be in your debt.
What I'm Looking For
1. Daak is a pirate-Bothan. The Jack Sparrow if he was a walking dog person. He has beads and nick-nacks folded into his mane of hair. His fur/hair is golden-brown and his eyes copper.
2. He's been through the grinder. Growing up in smuggler dens and among the most ragged of society, Daak has been in fights to last anyone a life-time, not to mention the time he spent in a Dug's torture chamber. Most notable of his scars are some scrawling over the left side of his muzzle which has left him with a quazi-permanant grin, and a host of scars which travel up his back and all over his neck.
3. What does a pirate wear? Well, he doesn't have a hat... but he doesn't go anywhere without the padded jacket in which he has a host of pockets sewn for stashing goods he's able to nick out of the unwary traveler's pockets. It has a tall collar for the purpose of attempting to hid the scars lining his neck, and it drapes down to his knees. Within it, he keeps a hold-out blaster and a dagger for the up-close work.
I really, really hope that someone takes me up on this. All bothan imagery I've found online is usually of the same sort of diplomat look, which really isn't who Daak Dakaara is.
