- When active, the weapon elongates over the shoulder, constantly scanning the area around the wearer, looking for threats, which it will quickly neutralize using whatever mode is active. There is a droid brain within the Seamstress, that is intelligent enough to identify enemies, and shoot at them. The weapon's scanners can be connected to the HUD of a helmet, so the wielder can see what the blaster targets, and can disengage it if necessary.

+ Adjustable Output: The Seamstress has two primary modes of fire; Laser and Charric. The user of this blaster cannon is able to switch between these modes at will, making the weapon serve two very different functions in a battle.
+ Laser Mode: In this configuration, the cannon fires incredibly quickly, spreading the blasts across it's four barrels to disperse heat and avoid damaging the weapon. In this mode, it is best used in crowd control against multiple lightly-armored targets, or as a distraction. There is also an option for stun bolts, which function in a similar manner.
+ Charric Mode: In this configuration, the Seamstress adopts a slower, methodical rhythm, firing kinetic charric blasts with much more force. This mode is best used against one enemy with heavy armor, or a lightsaber-wielder.
+ Hands Free: The Seamstress requires no hands to fire, and a complex processing system in the weapon targets enemies automatically. The perfect tool for someone with their hands full.
WEAKNESSES
- Configuration-Specific Weaknesses: In Laser mode, the laser bolts generated are slightly weaker for a blaster cannon of this size, to reduce energy costs and overheating. Almost any kind of armor to protect against blaster fire will render this mode nearly useless, save for a very flashy distraction. In Charric mode, the rate of fire of the weapon drops considerably, and drains the power pack quicker.
-Time to Switch: Switching between charric and laser mode, while automatic, takes a considerable amount of time, measured in minutes. There is no transitioning willy-nilly on the battlefield.
- Exposed: The weapon is large, and has no particular defenses against damage. If targeted, and left undefended, it will likely fail.
- Droid Brain, Can Hack: Since this weapon is autonomous, slicing into the processing system could cause a lot of damage. While the wearer themself is out of the line of fire of the Seamstress for this very reason, a talented slicer could shut it down, or take control of the weapon and designate new targets, in which case the wearer would have to power down the Seamstress manually.
DESCRIPTION
When one is a solitary bounty hunter in the galaxy, there are certain types of jobs that are a death sentence. These high-end jobs often require one of two things; the neutralization of a large group of enemies, or facing off against a powerful Force-User. In both of these situations, bad hunters rely on nothing but grit and determination. Good hunters have one or two tricks up their sleeves. This is one of Ghorua the Shark's many tricks.
The Seamstress makes use of Ghorua's excessive strength and bulk as a mounted laser gatler. With a complex processing system, the weapon has a similar intelligence to a combat droid, which uses logic circuits and various factors to determine enemies within a close range. After flagging a possible target, and giving the wearer a moment to disengage from it, the Seamstress fires one of three kinds of shots: laser, charric, or stun bolts.
The rate of fire in laser mode makes this cannon a great option for taking on groups, or overwhelming someone with a shower of heat, while charric bolts carry a kinetic punch that can punch past armor and lightsabers. Each mode has it's definite drawbacks, and switching between it's modes takes time, but an intelligent wielder can get the best out of this weapon by picking the mode carefully, and protecting it from damage, as all it takes to render the Seamstress destroyed is one clean hit. Not to mention if a slicer gets their hands on it's droid brain.
In short, the Seamstress is a dangerous tool in Ghorua's arsenal, an extra blaster to distract and overwhelm the largest groups, and the most dangerous single targets.
