The Search Continues

James had come the Greys in order to seek knowledge, and their archives contained as many techniques, views and styles as he could wish for. There in the archives, James could be found reading through the Styles of Force abilities.

He was searching first through the Known Light Side abilities, most notably, Force Stun, and it's sub-style, Ionize. Handy for taking on Organics and Non-organics alike.

The Idea was simple, gather electrical particles and direct them at someone/thing to stun/disable them for a short time.

He began with his own comms device, sending bolts of Ionized particles at it and shorting it out. Easy for the Wandering Scholar, but he'd of course need to practice more.

Saran walked through the archives, listening to the readout on her datapad tell her what each section was talking about. Eventually she stopped on something that she had found interesting. Some file on a figure in Marr's line, apparently pulled from the One Sith Archives. Ancestors can never be boring, apparently. She took the file out and caried it over to one of the terminals, waving a small card before plugging in the datacard and her earbuds. She listened for a while before copying the data to her datapad and returning the original copy to the shelf.

She felt the Force burst from James's ionize, and turned towards it, walking swiftly. Realizing what he was doing she balked, then set down both her comlink and datapad. no use bringing them any closer. Stepping around the corner, she entered his view. "Would you mind not doing that in here? You may short out one of the datacards."

James turned and looked to see a Miralukin female, a few years younger than he, speak of the caution his move had forgone.

"My apologies Miss. I am Knight James Mathison, new to the Order. I was practicing a move I'd just learned." He spoke in a smooth, and confident, yet cold and calculated voice.

He marveled momentarily at the sight of his very first Miralukin. A wonder of the Force for sure. He knew only the basics, hearsay and what have you. A species long thought extinct, risen from the ashes like a Phoenix. James bowed in respect of not only a fellow Knight, judging by her presence, but in respect for her species. Beings of true Force Sensitivity were glorious to the Wandering Scholar.
