- Space Station Name: The Seat of the Unborn
- Station Model: Ruus'ika Habitation Sphere
- Classification: Military Base / Cloning Center
- Location: The Seat of the Unborn is mobile, and does not root itself in one place for very long. It does, however; fancy the wide unexplored expanses of the Unknown Region to lurk in.
- Affiliation: Darth Carnifex
- Population: Moderately Populated
- Demographics: 90% Epicanthix, 10% assorted Humanoids (Humans, Twi'leks, Chiss, etc)
- Accessibility: None but the Arch-King of the Reach is allowed to know the station's location at any given time. The base is more or less constantly on the move to prevent anyone from happening upon it by chance.
- Description: The Seat of the Unborn mimics a planet solely in appearance, with its surface bathed in thick cloud cover and its environment designed to resemble dark purple deserts, plateaus, and mountains. In the midst of this sombre terrain is a grand complex called the City of Light, and beneath it is the true Seat of the Unborn. A cavernous facility descending several hundred meters down into the planetoid structure housing some of Darth Carnifex's darkest and most dangerous secrets, the most potent of all being his vast collection of clone bodies which he uses to perpetuate his own existence well beyond the physical destruction of whatever body he is currently occupying.
- Seven Vulcan mass-driver flak cannon emplacements centered around the City of Light
Two Kar’ara’novor shield generators each installed in the station's polar regions
ArmaTech Aegis Shield Transfer Array
Triple-redundant atmospheric fields and anti-radiation measures
Emergency bunkers
Triple-redundant artificial gravity and inertial compensator technology
Redundant cap drains, ion shielding, and power supplies, centered on protecting the atmosphere fields, anti-radiation fields, gravity and inertial compensators
Crystal Gravfield Trap
Tra’palon Active Mapping Array
Non-mass hyperwave transceiver with cross-channel hyperspatial radiation emission/detection functionality - in concert with dedicated hyperspace monitoring stations.
Ten Squadrons of Twelve Fury-class Starfighters
An entire Legion of Blackblade Guardsmen augmented by TA1, TA2, & TA4 Hegemonic Automaton Battle Droids and a company of a hundred Crownsguard
- The Seat of the Unborn: Sharing the same name as the artificial planetoid it is built within, the Seat of the Unborn is one of Darth Carnifex's most closely guarded secret facilities within the entire galaxy. It is a massive cloning facility that runs deep into the micro-planet's core that contains many Sith artifacts, beasts, monsters, and other assorted works coveted and created by the Dark Lord himself. His greatest treasure, however; is his massive supply of replacement bodies that allow him to achieve immortality by transferring his essence into a new body once his current one becomes too old or used up to be of any use to him.
- The City of Light: Directly above the Seat of the Unborn is a massive surface facility that more resembles a city than it does a military installation. Great spires of permacrete and durasteel rise from the surface of the planetoid to scrap the bottom of artificial atmosphere that wreaths the planet, each one plated in reflective white metal plating that shimmers like a billion diamonds when the light of a nearby sun hits them at the right angles. Tethered to this great monument of vanity is a skyhook that serves as the command center for the entire station's defenses and monitors any incoming traffic.
Darth Carnifex first heard, then acquired, one of the Ruus'ika Habitation Sphere through secure third party sources, mainly his contacts within Mandalorian society. Through them it wasn't all too difficult to get one for himself, although he rightly couldn't flaunt it around his well-known territories without tipping off the existence of his loyalists within the Mandalorians. So he relegated this mobile micro-planet to the deepest reaches of the Unknown Regions, outfitting it with state-of-the-art cloning technologies that had been taken from Khomm shortly after the One Sith began its occupation of the planet.
In the safety and security of his new private sanctum he commissioned the creation of hundreds, perhap thousands, of genetic duplicates that would serve as future host bodies for his dark spirit whenever the current one he occupied had finally given out.
This dark planetoid would be his last line of defense, his last bastion when/if all other strongholds had fallen to his enemies.
