Name: The Second Hand of Time, Caeledae
Age: 5127 Years Old
Species: Force Entity
Sex: Male/Neutral
Height in Physical Form: Nine Feet
Weight: N/A
Eye Color: Silver/Storm Blue
Hair: White
Force Sensitive: Yes
Strengths: Caeledae has a near unending connection to the Force, allowing for it to draw upon vast swaths of power to unleash in devastating attacks, or weave elaborate sorceries in the heat of battle. Upon witnessing a new Force ability, Caeledae is able to gain a partial understanding of how it is done, allowing it overtime to copy other Force Users abilities, if it sees them enough.
Caeledae has the collective total of three dozen Sith Lords memories and experience to draw upon, allowing it to react to situations with numerous different options, and allowing Caeledae to be highly adaptive on the field of battle. This pool of experience also allows it to formulate complex and near unrivaled tactical and psychological plans to use against its enemies.
Caeledae can draw upon this experience to serve him in physical combat as well, allowing him to use a wide range of weaponry and combat forms with ease and fluidity. Added to his size and lack of weight, as he is a projection given physical form when necessary, he can be a devastatingly fast and powerful opponent.
Weaknesses: Caeledae is a Force Entity, and while capable of forming a physical expression of itself capable of travel across the galaxy, this power has its limits. Generally speaking, the Second Hand of Time cannot project its physical essence beyond the Core worlds of the galaxy on its own, keeping it confined to the upper half of the galaxy. The closer it gets to the Core, as well, the weaker its connection to the Force will become.
As a pure Force Entity, Caeledae can be weakened, and in some cases driven away, by strong Force resistant locations or items. Worlds that are cut off from the Force, or individuals for that matter with no Force connection, are anathema to Caeledae and the Second Hand of Time, preventing it from drawing too close to such instances.
Caeledae is functionally immortal, capable of being reformed by the Second Hand of Time whenever Caeledae is destroyed. However, the Second Hand of Time itself is a highly prominent target, and should it ever be destroyed, Caeledae will be severely weakened, and potentially entirely destroyed.
History: The Second Hand of Time was created nearly five thousand years ago, by a cabal of Sith Lords driven to the edge of the galaxy by Jedi and Old Republic forces. Isolated from the rest of their kind, enraged at the humiliation they had suffered, and brought to the edge of insanity by all they had experienced, they devised a plan to strike back against their enemies and allies alike, the Second Hand of Time. The theory behind the weapon, create a way for the Sith Lords to travel back in time and defeat their enemies with the knowledge they had now.
Whether this plan would have worked or not is unclear, as the minds that crafted it were broken of most reason and practical thought. This did not stop them however from crafting the Second Hand of Time, a massive one hundred meter tall pillar forged from pure obsidian, and infused with the combined Force energy the three dozen Sith Lords could muster. They were nearing the completion of the weapon when they were discovered.
A team of Jedi Knights, having sensed the growing Dark Side energy, traveled to the location of the Sith cabal and the Second Hand of Time. Upon discovering the site, the Jedi were quick to act, seeing the Sith nearing completion of whatever dark sorcery they had begun. The Jedi were able to stop the ritual by killing several of the Sith Lords, interrupting the flow of energy. This caused a backlash of Dark Side energy to erupt from the Second Hand of Time, consuming the Sith Lords still connected to it, and draining their essence, their being, their souls into the weapon itself.
The Jedi attempted to destroy the Second Hand of Time, but upon drawing near the weapon, several of the Jedi began to grow weak, and the youngest of the group died upon touching the Second Hand of Time. With little resources at hand, the Jedi used the cloaks of the dead Sith Lords to shroud the Second Hand of Time, and using Force infused chains, locked it away deep beneath the surface of the small world. All records of the weapon were sealed away, and the Jedi prevented anyone from coming to the world for hundreds of years, until time itself, the very thing the Second Hand of Time was built to dominate, forgot.
Despite what the Jedi thought at the time, the spirits of the Sith Lord cabal were not entirely destroyed. Consumed by the Second Hand of Time, the remnants of the Sith Lords began to battle among themselves, unaware they were even doing so. One by one, they began to consume each other, melding together as the strongest among them grew ever more powerful. This conflict lasted for four thousand years, until only a single entity remained within the Second Hand of Time. This entity, so closely entwined to the weapon, began to take on a new personality, one forged and crafted by both the Sith Lords, and Second Hand of Time itself.
Now, the Second Hand of Time has begun to awaken. The darkness across the galaxy has weakened the chains that bind it, and the spirit within has begun to emerge...
