It was near the end of the day on Simocadia when Janith's freighter the Trident landed down, a small YT-1000 ship. As the ship powered down its engine - Janith sat in the cockpit, of course, she was rather.. nervous about all of this. It had been quite a while since she explored the force, and almost a decade since the last time she went looking for old artifacts, something, her dad and her once did a long long time ago. While BD was resting and recharging - she sat out on her cockpit chair staring off at the forest she landed in. Of course - she opted to land away from any typical landing zones, wanting to have some privacy before hand.

Regardless of all of that though, Janith had come to Simocadia after learning from one of her fellow smugglers that one of the Shadex on the planet had finally reawakened and moved locations - but, with it moving.. it opened up a cave full of ancient items. Of course, nothing was known on what could be within; sentinels defending the labyrinth within?.. creatures which had evolved to survive in the subterranean world, or maybe.. lost artifacts which could help even in the present world. The only way to find what was within would have been to take the step inside.. which most people were too scared to do, especially since the trek to the cave entrance was already difficult - a ravine separated where the Shadex was from where the true entrance was.. so the average explorer favoring his life didn't bother the attempt.

So with that, Janith who finally was feeling fine with moving - and had moved passed her stress of addressing the force, something she had taken time to avoid in the recent. She got up, and left for the main room within the Trident, finding BD on his charging bank. "Hey buddy.. its time to go." She spoke as she activated the droid - typing into the databank. "We got some.. exploring to do, your favorite." She laughed as he powered on, letting out a happy whirl as he bounced up, she extended her arm allowing the small BD droid to climb on her arm. "Ready?" As she rounded and grabbed onto her back.

As she finally suited up, and grabbed her blaster and knife she looked at her father's lightsaber for a slight moment. "Wish.. me luck dad. or.. May the force be with you." She stood there as, she imagined him saying it back to her. Either way she wiped a tear away as she stepped outside of her ship, raising her mask as she brought it up to her nose, covering it up and hiding a part of her identity at least. Upon locking her ship she gave the trident a pat before looking to BD-5. "Alright, time for an adventure buddy." saying as she began making her way.

It took her about an hour to reach the ravine entrance which lead to the cave - but the walk was refreshing. Treading through some dense forest it gave her time to reflect, and think about the force. As said before due to her time using the force as a weapon, and one she used without prejudice when she gave into the dark side in her early adult years, she had grown fearful of the force, and fearful of what it could do.. but as of recent, had felt a calling to re approach what was once so special to her, and her father. So, the walk was a time to reflect, take in thought and understand the importance of what her father before her taught her, But also, on a lighter note, gave her time to joke around with her best friend BD-5. The two cracked jokes, played I spy, debated - and talked about the galaxy as a whole. While he wasn't capable of complex speech, BD-5 had an archive within of all the artifacts they had found together and was always happy to talk in binary about said information, being.. a fairly talkative but, also intelligent droid - enjoying for some reason archeologic discussion above anything else.

With time, they finally arrived at the ravine entrance, taking a break as she sat on a log - near where the Shadex once rested. "Hey buddy, you can go scan things or look around - I'm gonna drink some water and just rest before we have to climb." With that BD ran off and began scanning practically everything as Janith took in the sight of the beautiful canyon entrance, but looked out at the cave - at the very end of said canyon. "Dank Ferrick.. that's gonna be a long climb." She said to herself as she looked at the drop as well, not a nice one.

The ringing of the hammer was the first part... her Jǫrmungandr Steði was shaping the inth metal as it glowed white hot. The heat of the forge around her when she stood there in a heavy apron with her bare shoulders and arms exposed. Hair in a tight ponytail that was plastered to her back with sweat. The forges of the Celestial Forge were always working as the smaller droids were moving around. THey kept the heat going with the collectors while they were near the stars of the well. Large and beautiful it channeled the light into them and into the forge making it function. "Master." ONe of the droids appeared at the door as it was moving.

"Master." It continued forward as she was working more. The inth metal taking form as thin sheets of metal that splayed out and were being wrapped around cylinders to form loops and then a tip. Each finger wrap would work for them to have when she cooled it. The piece for the hand itself being shaped with a mold as each opening would be for a crystal that could channel the force. "Master." The voice finally came over the sounds as she turned and looked over. Helmet retracting from her face while one of the droids took over finishing the project that she was working on. "What is it?" She said it and went to stand in the antechamber of the forge.

Once the doors closed it was much cooler, the sound cut off as the sealed room held all of the heat and noise. Krass looked at the sweat on her that gleamed in the light while she was able to see small hairs standing. "Master there is information coming in from one of the drones sent out. Simocadia." The name of the world registered.. she was observing it most of them did because of the shaadex. The chance to study one of them was rare and while they had reverse engineered based on some partially recovered one... usually news meant another had been found or an attack trying to get at them. "Well don't leave me in anticipation."

She said it looking at him and the droid gave a blank face. "It seems a shadex has been activated, designation on size is colossus class. The drone records that where it came out is another set of ruins with no hint of exploration as of yet." SHe looked at him and grinned to herself. "Well then set the course. We can test out the new Ashlanae Drive that we have been developing." The force activated drive was an engineering feat they had managed to do not out of the skill range and setting the course she moved to the bridge of the ship after she went to the fresher and changed into her Quartermaster Robes.

She stood in the black and gold of it while putting a cloak on that looked more jedi like.. HEr hammer on her hip with the other equipment as she was on the bridge and the drive activated for a moment... then they were there. "THose Aing-Tii know where it is at." The transition was not seamless but so fast the minds rarely picked it up as they had moved. Krass taking a moment to look down at the planet. "Ready the shuttle." She was moving and her ship would be in orbit in case anything was needed. Probes being released to scout and scan the surface from orbit and locate the shadex in case it was a defensive model that would try and attack if people went to the ruins.

THe shuttle was heading to the surface while she waited there and double checked the pieces of equipment with them. Survival gear but also her quartermaster gear were highly developed where she would need it. The doors opened and she released one of her own seeker drones to go and check for her directly while she was moving. The cloak and hood up as she was small and it covered her face when she was making a path towards the ruikns.

While Krass' drone was entering the atmosphere.. Janith - after a brief rest, made their way to the ravine's edge. The drop, was quite massive and intimidating. It was a stark reminder of the risk that came with adventuring, and the question came how many had fallen down there.. however, the number must've been low as the ravine was only formed with Shadex moving.. So she began wondering, and shrugged the fear away as the thrill of discovery and connecting with an ancient past, one that could help her in understanding the force more took over; She secured her climbing gear which.. was just a grapple, and some climbing spikes as she was just going to trust her skills, and stretched for a moment. "Okay.. ready for this bud?" She asked her droid ad BD-5 let out cheerful whirls and happy sounds, he, was less worried which helped the mood at least.

"Okay, lets do this - but - please, no rush ok?" The typically over confident girl said as she shook of some of the fear and, prepped herself, she was worried, very worried to be honest - but, she didn't want to stress too much.. She wasn't scared of heights as she had handled worse before, btu something about facing the past was what was truly troubling her deep down. "Hm." she silently said as she threw her first grapple at one of the ravine walls lining the way.

She shook her head, and jumped - her hook sustaining as she let out a bit of a sigh, happy, that it didn't fall apart luckily. "Meet you at the bottom?" A happy whoot and whirr would be heard from BD as BD would begin floating down using his small tail propolser - While Janith was a tad worried for BD, he had handled himself in the past so.. there was no true stress to be had. She pulled her microbinoculars out though and began looking down where she was heading.. Upon scanning, she pictured out a safe route to descend, and head towards the cave entrance - and.. saw no life, which made sense.. be weird seeing life underneath a colossal being. Regardless, the shadex was still in the area, slowly proceeding in.. a strange circle around the cave it formed, in a - methodic way.

"Hey buddy! Do you know anything about those uh, things, the one we saw on the way in from a distance." She spoke into her communicator as she continued descending towards the cave entrance, and deeper into the ravine. BD over the comm would chirp in a melodic way and whirl at the end as Janith simply nodded. "Heh, interesting, so they're.. like super old." Followed by a quick Chirp. Nonetheless, after a good 20 minutes of wrappling downwards, Janith reached - what was the bottom of the floor, unwinding her wrapple as she began to dust off all the dust she got on her outfit. "Okay! Thats the hard part, now for the .. actual exploration." She put to herself as BD climbed back on her back, smiling as she was finally reunited.

The planet itself was dusty and Krass was able to really work at it... her cloak billowing as she saw it.. circling at a massive distance. The shadex was huge... larger then many others would be able to see and she had reverse engineered a small one.. considered giant sized sure it was large but compared to that about a tenth the size. So she was moving and the drones were showing it was making a circle around the area more then it was going into all of the areas. She had a mental map of where she was that was going off of the brief interfacer map she had gotten from the drones. She would have to make do as she came to a massive ravine.

The little drone she had released coming towards her as it clamped itself on her shoulder and pressed into the survival pack of her robes. The cloak covering it up but she withdrew the handaxe from a pocket and the grapple as she set it with the blade sinking into the stone and she twisted so it ejected smaller spikes to lock it into place. Secured and ready before she was securing the line to her waist. She moved and the repulsors in her boots activated to slow her descent while she was going down. Setting smaller beacons as she touched the wall and could guide the line to them so her line would be marked and anchored to the wall.

"Here we go." She said it touching down as her interface activated showing her proximity contacts and the first moments of interest came. She didn't grab her hammer... no need for that yet it was made for smashing threats and if there was something or something down here there was a chance of a threat... or a chance they had been drawn for the same reasons he had been. "Hello." She said it with a look as her hood went back showing the tight ponytail, black hair with small streaks of red with her interface glowing from her ear and going over her eyes so she had low light vision down here in the shadows.
