The Shadow Dynasty is the Aftermath of what was once a kingdom ruled by a Force Hound left behind the Infinite Empire, and though the Dynasty has no remnants of the Infinity within it, it holds it's own, and very unique sense of technology.
The dynasty is ruled by one Queen, or King (currently a queen), which rules over Eclipstica, the capital of the star system, Shadow Realm. Each planet within the system holds it's own planetary leader, no one actually owns these planets, only helps lead them. These leaders bow before the Crown's Regime as a allies, and advisers to the Queen in a council where the people's best interest in priority.
So imagine this, the faction is a made of smaller kingdoms all helping out in one star system.
Civil War can break out, minor skirmishes within the star system can be held, as it is a kingdom with many rulers, and they will disagree with one another.
Realize we do not OWN these planets, but lead them. If a major faction comes to take these planets, all we can do is hope they will allow us to continue to do what we are doing, and knowing the many factions here, Im almost certain they wont mind.
Back to the matter at hand.
There is a force user order, the Knights Advocate. They are tied to keep peace within the system, and answer to no one but themselves, and the Queen/King. Peacekeepers.
What makes them different from the Jedi, and the Imperial Knights is that they are free to do as they wish as they see fit. They work much like the knights we read about in books today during the times of queens, dukes, and kings.
The Fleets, and Regiments are made of the many planets' force combined, each with their respective place a individual force to their planet leaders.
Each planet is a custom planet (obviously) each very different from the others. The Shadow Realm itself is very different from some of the others canon, and Chaos canon on the site.
Each leader may give themselves their ranking title, Duke, Prince, Lord, whatever you desire, but in order to get there, the Queen must authorize your leadership true, and acceptable. Each planet is barren, and will be built from the ground up, and this is how those will gain leadership roles.
At the moment the capital will be turned into a Fortress World, under the Shadow Queen ( @Xedla )
with a new planet called Maleficara being dev threared into the system as the next planet to be taking a leader.
Questions, and Comments are welcome, in fact they are recommended. We wont to see this idea follow through, and hold awesome battles, and government conducts that are rare to see here on Chaos.
Some questions you may have that others will too:
Q: Will the faction ever go major?
A: No. Not at the moment and not in the near future. Even after the month we are here the answer will still be no. The only way this would become reality is having plenty of dedicated writes, and if the the Admins, AND Mods all agree we could do it, and do it well.
Q: Are you against any of the factions already existing?
A: Essentially if they threaten us, yes, we would. I dont think that is the case at the moment, and sure we would be watching Primevil, the One Sith, and other Darkside factions, I think we could be brought into their fold in exchange for more territory for them, with us being left to our own devices and stories. So no, we arnt against anyone.
Q: You mention Civil Wars within the star system, and small Skirmishes?
A: Indeed, why would a group not have civil war inside itself? It's realistic, and bound to happen in monarchies. There are smaller bodies in the system that would be taken as under the protection of a ruler within the faction and two could battle it over. Again they wouldnt own the spacial body, but they would be a leader of it.
Q: Is this a Darkside faction? Like the Sith and Primevil?
A: Nope. Purely neutral at it's bare bones. It a faction whose purpose is to tell stories, and build more lore for the site.
Q: Who can join?
A: Anyone, Sith, Jedi, Witch, Non-Force User. The more variety the better the stories.
Q: Who is the faction leaders at the moment?
A: Currently I am the OOC leader, with [member="Xelda"] being the IC leader.
