Weaver of Fates
The vast hall of the Sith Palace was eerily silent, save for the faint hum of a holographic projector. The chamber was an embodiment of Darth Callidus herself—cold, imposing, and meticulously crafted for intimidation. Black marble floors reflected the crimson light of sconces along the walls, their glow giving the room the appearance of bleeding shadows. The air was heavy with the palpable energy of the dark side.Callidus sat upon her throne, a towering seat of black stone adorned with intricate carvings of ancient Sith victories. Before her, the holographic image of a Jedi Temple shimmered in pale blue, its serene spires and tranquil gardens a stark contrast to the oppressive grandeur of her domain.
She leaned forward, her amber eyes narrowing as she studied the projection. Her black-gloved fingers tapped rhythmically against the arm of her throne, the sound echoing through the hall like a heartbeat of malice. The Jedi's chosen sanctum was a sanctuary of hope and light, nestled within the rolling hills of a peaceful world. It was offensive in its very existence.
"Denial," she muttered, her voice a soft snarl. "They sit there, blind to the galaxy's suffering, believing their isolation grants them safety. Their arrogance blinds them to the inevitable." Callidus rose, her crimson cloak flowing behind her like liquid fire. She descended the steps of her throne with deliberate grace, her movements a dance of authority and control. Stopping before the projection, she reached out, her hand hovering over the image of the Jedi Temple.
"This affront to my vision of order cannot stand," she declared, her voice rising with an edge of venom. "The Jedi will learn that their walls cannot hold back the storm. Their purity will be stained, their hope extinguished." She turned to the shadows at the edge of the chamber, where her closest advisors and apprentices awaited her command. Her gaze pierced them, and they straightened under its weight.
"Prepare the fleet. We strike swiftly and without mercy. Their temple will fall, and their ashes will serve as a monument to their failure. Let the galaxy see what becomes of those who defy the dark."
Her lips curled into a faint smile, cruel and triumphant. "This is not war. It is judgment."
Hello all! I have been rereading some of the older Star Wars Legends books, and the Imperial attack on the Jedi Temple of Ossus sparked some interest for me. I have been working on this little idea from there, and wanted to see if I could spark some interest. The basic premise is, as the little post states, Darth Callidus wants to attack a Jedi Temple. She wants to prove a point and test not only herself but her forces against the enemies of her kind. This will either be a custom Jedi Temple I will create for the event, or if anyone wants to volunteer their enclave for some action, we can have it there.
Looking to see if I can find some Sith and Jedi, as well as anyone who might get drawn into the conflict before I try and get it posted. Let me know if you guys have any questions and if you might be interested!
