The Shadowlance was built in the Imperial Shipyards of Sith Empire some 3600 years before the Battle of Yavin and issued to the Sith Lord Kyrus to serve as his personal transport. The ship is capable carrying up to seven passengers and requires a minimal crew of one to operate, with a cargo carrying capacity of fifty metric tons, and carrying five months worth of consumables. Lord Kyrus used this ship in his day to day travels across the Empire, and used it when he boarded The Morning Star and captured Jedi Knight Jihanna Hazic. It also served as the escape vehicle for Lord Kyrus' son Damerous to escape Droumand Kaas after being declared a traitor to the Empire, and served as the vehicle for his time jump when damage to the ship's hyperdrive during a battle. After his arrival in the present day, Damerous decided to keep a hold of his starship for sentimental reasons.
