Ardak was unhappy with the Jedi Master, but it seemed so were other Jedi as well. Thinking for a moment on the relation between him and the new Grandmaster Ben Watts, he figured that the Grandmaster wouldn't tolerate such action either. "Master Manto, is not the policy of the Republic to kill anyone who stands in their way. If you intend to continue killing world leaders in order to fuel the 'ways of your people' then I suggest you join the Sith Empire, because the Republic won't tolerate it. You have authorization to return the hostage, but if you kill the Thisspian Leader it will be treated as an act of Treason against the Republic."

Hearing the message and Rodo's words, Mak turned to see rifles pointed at him from the soldiers. Frowning, he closed his eyes before he spoke to the Jedi behind him.

"Bring word to the capital that I'll be saving the girl and ending the bloodshed. After that, I'll surrender peacefully. May the Force be with you all."

Blasting the Force at the shuttle door, it flew away into the sky, and without hesitation, Mak jumped from the shuttle, streamlining through the air. As he saw the mountain come closer, Mak used the Force as a buffer, bouncing off the side of one of the rocks. As he landed, he looked around.

He knew the planet inside and out, and this was the mountain that the former terrorists had once used, where the revolutionaries were considered to be. Most likely, they were using the same base. Slithering fast, he knew it was time to bring his world back to the Republic.
