- Description: A group of Force-Sensitives trained for lightsaber combat and warfare-applicable Force abilities. They are used for very sensitive missions which potentially have the ability to present major security risks to the Crossroads Republic. They specialize in interrogations, using their abilities in the Force to read even the finest of agents to sense a lie or a coverup, or, when several are in place at once, they can force the truth out of the person being interrogated. Their primary combat capabilities are centered on countering special forces units and Force-Sensitives as teams of four, often traveling in pairs for other duties. Whenever a force-sensitive arrives The Guardians have access to all major classified projects as needed and have access to the finest forensic analysis devices, computers, and training that money can buy. The Guardians will occasionally assist the investigative and law enforcement services of the Crossroads Republic on sensitive cases due to their elite training and access to equipment and databases. They are not so much monks as they are special forces operator, investigator, and negotiator rolled into one neat package. Dark side leanings are kept in check by senior members and team leaders. If a Guardian "falls" to the Dark Side they are usually poisoned without warning after all other attempts have failed. Usually they wear plain-clothes and semi-perpetually-undercover when not in direct-action assignments and for the most part live fairly-normal lives, with many even having children. The only identifying characteristic they will have on them at all times is a badge and their lightsaber and a blaster pistol.

- Equipment: LS-1 Lightsabers, Wide Variety of Blasters (Have access to a choice of CBR-801 Blaster Rifles, CBR-800 Blaster Rifles, CSOR-230 Blaster Rifles, or, most often, CDP-10 Blaster Pistols), Forensic Analysis Machines, High-Power Computers, and droids such as "Patcher" Damage-Control/Maintenance Droids for slicing into doors.
- Combat Function: Last-ditch counter to special forces units and the go-to answer for enemy Force-Sensitives on occasion. However they often go after domestic and foreign terrorists, insurgents, pirates, and will even go after public menace-type criminals (i.e. dangerous serial killers, drug and crime bosses, very dangerous gangs).
- Very, very capable fighters in both hand-to-hand and ranged combat.
- Access to the vast resources of the Crossroads Republic.
- Force-Sensitive, they can accomplish and sense more than other non-Force-Sensitives.
- Quite capable analysts and investigators with the Force aiding their hunches and gut feeling.
- Very, very limited numbers, only around 1,500 Guardians are currently commissioned.
- As force-sensitives who walk the fine line they can potentially fall to the Dark Side.
- Not very-well traveled at all, they are almost entirely restricted to the territory of the Crossroads Republic.
- Are susceptible to normal anti-Force-Sensitive measures.
Formed by exiled Jedi survivors of Order 66, who survived the war thanks to the Crossroads Republic's protection. This group stayed loyal, and as a reward they became a semi-autonomous and highly-secretive department of the government itself. They have the first pick of potential force-sensitives, with all force-sensitives in the Crossroads Republic being carefully watched as they go through their military service or through their academic scores in university. Those who get picked will join without hesitation because they are pretty-much made so long as they stay productive, and slowly the small handful of a dozen individuals grew in numbers, with refugees and economic success bolstering the population the Silver Guardians grew in number, partly thanks to the fact many fell in love with each other, strengthening the pool of force-sensitives, with quite a few of them being seventh and eighth generation Guardians.
