GENERAL INFORMATION
- Holocron Name: The Sith Holocron of Darth Ayra the Afflicted, or Darth Ayra's Sith Holocron.
- Alignment: Dark side of the Force.
- Origin:
Darth Ayra
- Affiliation: The Order of the Sith Lords.
- Gatekeeper: The Gatekeeper is an artificial entity of Darth Ayra . It appears as a female child wearing dark garments, and a hood raised over it's head to conceal the facial features beneath. This was intentional for it's creator did not want the Gatekeeper to be recognised less it fell into the hands of someone who learned of their true identity. It can lower the hood and reveal it's facial features which are strikingly similar to Her . When the Gatekeeper speaks it has an eerie childlike tone for no child should ever be able to usher the secrets of which this Sith Holocron possesses in abundance. It's purpose is to indoctrinate a Force-sensitive into believing the Rule of Two, and then guide them into becoming a Sith Master who will either facilitate, or build towards a plan to destroy the Sith and Jedi.
- Description: It is a four-by-four Pyramid made out of black crystal with a red hue which permeates the dark. The purpose of it's creation was to house all the knowledge, secrets and powers of Darth Ayra and ensure that The Order of the Sith Lords continued after she died.
DEFENSES
- Accessibility: This Sith Holocron is located on the planet Kalist IV within A City Lost to Time. In the center of the city is a gigantic tower, and at it's entrance is a table made out of Pyronium. Sat atop the table rests the Sith Holocron but taking it will not be so easy for Orbalisks have infested the tower, and will attack anyone attempting to claim this artefact for themselves.
- Security: Kalist IV is a planet not for the faint hearted. At it's highest peak the Sun casts a temperature well in excess to that which a standard Humanoid would not be able to survive in without extensive precaution and protection. Beneath Kalist's star is A City Lost to Time: a ruin of a once great civilization of Humanoids known only to a few as the Builders. The city itself is in a state of ruin, and is assaulted daily by torrential sandstorms leaving most of it submerged beneath the dirt. Nearby buildings are in state of disrepair and decay: it is not uncommon for one to collapse and claim the life of anyone unfortunate to be near it's fall. Within a tower, in the center of the abandoned ruin, the Sith Holocron is guarded by swarms of Orbalisks who will attack and claim the life of anyone who dares come near them.
CONTENT INFORMATION
- A repository of knowledge about the Dark side of the Force taught from the anecdotal experiences, beliefs and superstitions of the Dark Lord of the Sith: Darth Ayra the Afflicted.
- A lesson about the Rule of Two using the pathology and understanding of the Sith'ari: Darth Bane.
- A rudimentary explanation of the Order of the Sith Lords: an organization founded by Darth Bane over several millennia ago and whose linage of Sith Lords facilitated a Grand Plan to destroy the Jedi Order and why Darth Ayra believed that the modern day Sith need to be destroyed also following the collapse of a Sith Order colloquially termed as the One Sith who rose to power in the 844 ABY and destroyed the Old Republic.
- Instructions on how to construct a Sith Holocron; how to perform the Rite of Commencement; and a lesson as for why it was important for a Sith Master to store their beliefs, knowledge and powers in the Dark Side of the Force into such a device so that their legacy remains.
- Instructions on how to imbue objects with the Force as taught by the Jal-Shey teachings.
- A rudimentary explanation of the Bryn'adul: an intergalactic conglomerate of alien beings found in Wild Space by Darth Ayra and her Sith Master-- Darth Pandeima-- who funded their first steps towards their crusade through the Outer Rim Territories when they were known by the lesser name of the Horde.
- A transcript of the Holocron of Heresies and Darth Revan's Sith Holocron: two ancient artefacts which Darth Ayra recovered through her dealings with a criminal syndicate known as the Black Ties. The Gatekeeper-- if convinced to teach the user-- will give a lesson to them about Zalashiel the Blasphemer and the technique of Force Drain; Darth Revan's thoughts on how to train a Sith Apprentice, and where Darth Ayra agreed or disagreed; the Sith Code; the secrets of the Thought Bomb; detailed instructions on Sith Magic and Illusions; and Dark Side healing with references to Karness Muur.
- Detailed instructions on how to construct the Creatura Reactor and the Initium.
- A lesson into the Sith Alchemy of fusing Lightsaber crystals and their abilities together-- through the use of a Creatura Reactor-- to create a new synthetic crystal which retains their respective powers, and how this Science dubbed "Crystalogy" could be used to repair broken or damaged Capstones.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION
The Sith Holocron of Darth Ayra the Afflicted is a repository of information, knowledge and powers about the Dark side of the Force that was created in 851 ABY shortly before her death within A City Lost to Time. Upon reaching out with the Force a Force-sensitive may make contact with the Gatekeeper: an artificial personality stored within the Sith Holocron to act as a guide and orator to the many experiences, beliefs and powers stored within. When this artificial personality presents themselves they take upon the image of a child which bears a striking resemblance to Her .
With contact with the Gatekeeper established a test will occur in which the user will be tested on whether or not they subscribe to the pathology of the Rule of Two. If the test is passed then they will orate an encyclopaedia in which a user may select what they would like to learn. But-- if a user is found not to be a believer in the Rule of Two-- then the Holocron will deactivate and the Gatekeeper will never speak to them again.
This device was constructed by Darth Ayra the Afflicted to carry on her legacy, thoughts, beliefs and powers. Following the collapse of the One Sith in the 851 ABY-- combined with the indoctrination of her Sith Master, Darth Pandeima-- Darth Ayra sought to reconstitute the Rule of Two and begin a new lineage of Sith Lords to follow in the footsteps of the original Order of the Sith Lords. Although she passed away before she could take on her own Sith Apprentice this Sith Holocron was discovered by the Nomad: a mysterious Force-sensitive Humanoid who lived on the planet Kalist IV somewhere between 855 ABY and 881 ABY.
Upon discovering the device the Nomad was turned to the Dark side of the Force and adopted the moniker of Darth Mendacium the Betrayer. He then took on his own Sith Apprentice and taught Her the Rule of Two thus creating a new lineage of Sith Lords who adopted the pathology and beliefs of the Sith'ari-- Darth Bane-- thereby commiserating Darth Ayra as the first in the new Order of the Sith Lords.
After her death in 851 ABY Darth Ayra was cremated within A City Lost to Time by a Dark Jedi called Ella Nova. As a consequence of this funeral the Dark Lord's organic matter was destroyed upon the pyre resulting in the Orbalisks (of which she been infected with during a pilgrimage to the Tomb of Freedon Nadd some years prior) to release her corpse and infect the rest of the city. Some years after Darth Ayra's death the Sith Master Darth Mendacium constructed a table made of Pyronium infused with the properties of Bota and chairs of the same material within the entrance of a tower in the center of the city.
This location became so powerful with the Dark side of the Force that the Orbalisks whom killed Darth Ayra with their infection took the tower and consequentially became the unwitting guards to this Sith Holocron which rests within. In 902 ABY an Imperial Moff by the name of Maldor Mecetti travelled to Kalist VI to discover more answers about the Order of the Sith Lords and the origins of Alicia Drey : the late Staff Director of the New Imperial Security Bureau who was murdered by a Sith Lord.
Here Maldor discovered the Holocron and took it.
