The Sith-Imperial Autarch was developed as the staple currency of the Sith Empire after its formation along the Braxant Run. Minted by the Sith-Imperial Banking Clan, the Autarch originally featured the symbol the Empire had adopted as its official standard but was gradually replaced by the Hex Charm following the fall of Muunilinst to the New Imperial Order. ur-Kittât writing was added gradually, often changing every few years, though finally settling on the current phrases in 856 ABY.
The Empire utilized the Autarch for the majority of physical commerce, such as consumer shopping and personal debt, but often relied on digital currency for the majority of its financial business. Small credit chips could be acquired that would carry a pre-determined value which could be used for both physical and digital purchases.
