Built to supplement the already considerable organic army and navy of the Sith Empire, the foundries and shipyards of Agamar and Kol Huro work tirelessly to churn out the innumerable amount of battle droids, war material and vessels that comprise this vast automated military force. Led by the former separatist Super Tactical Droid and relic of the Clone Wars, Grand Moff Aut-X, the Sith Imperial Droid forces were built to near exactly emulate the might of the legendary Droid Army and Fleets of the original Confederacy of Independent Systems.
The Sith-Imperial Droid Army
The Sith-Imperial Droid Army consists of billions of Battle Droid units. The innumerable and time tested B1 Battle Droids comprise the bulk of frontline units, supplemented by B2 Super Battle Droids and an ample amount of AAT Tanks and other armoured support. Their vast numbers and relatively low cost make them incredibly useful for planetary sieges, and pretty much anywhere their great numbers can decimate numerically inferior opposition. Droid units are especially useful in hostile enviroments where organic troops would require protective gear or an oxygen supply.
Yet great numbers are but one strength of the Sith-Imperial Droid Army. More elite units, like squads of OOM-series Super Tactical Droids, work to support the greater army through guerilla tactics and special operations behind enemy lines. And a multitude of other specialist droid units are available for any situation where they might be deemed useful.
The Sith-Imperial Droid Navy
The Sith-Imperial Droid Navy consists of a vast multitude of vessels organized into numerous fleets and task forces. Built to supplement the traditional Sith-Imperial Navy, the droid crewed ships commonly conduct patrols and anti-pirate and rebel operations within Oversector Two, as well as other Oversectors upon the request of their administration. They also provide frontline support on the frontiers and warzones of the Sith Empire, the great numbers and firepower of their vessels, such as the Munificent-class Star Frigate and the Providence-class Carrier/Destroyer, helping to turn the tide against the numerous foes the Sith Empire face on a regular basis.
Nearly all of the larger vessels within the Sith-Imperial Droid Army carry a great many wings of Vulture Droids and Hyena-class Bombers, whom can attach to the hull to refuel and recharge, and do not require the usage of hangar bays, which affords many strategic advantages over regular vessels. C-9979 Landing Craft are available to transport large quantities of droid troops, supplies and armored vehicles to the surface of any invaded world, while HMP Droid Gunships provide close air support in many ground operations, also acting as transport for droid units so they might be deployed where they are needed most.
