The Slaves of Gala

A trio of Matte black painted SV-303's jumped into hyperspace above the planet of Gala, almost immediately gunships, blackbird fighters, and half a dozen Peth-Class shuttles flew from the hangar bay of the ships. The frigates retreated near instantaneously, hiding behind the nearby moon. The departed wings of hangar ships meanwhile flew towards the planet, almost instantly breaching the atmosphere and rushing towards the planets surface.

Inside of one of the smaller gunships stood Nemene Talith, besides her Evelynn, her sister.

Both women were somewhat disguised, their hair was dyed a different color, their eyes held color changing contact lenses, and their clothes, instead of the usual silk fineries of the Queens was instead simple armorweave with some plasteel plates placed on top, soft cloth masks covered their faces, a pair of shadez over their eyes.

Thee weapons they carried were also different, Nemene instead of her lightsaber pike carried to curved hilted Lightsabers, both echoing those her father once used.

As the ship shook, signaling entry into the atmosphere Nemene spoke into the small radio by her mouth. “Bring us into the mountains, the Hill Tribes are our targets.”

The smile on her face grew, hidden by the mask. They were here not as Queens today, but instead as slavers. They were here to not only see the Operations of KSC, but to improve upon them, plus a bit of excitement never hurt. A few more seconds passed by as the ships drifted closer to the hills, reaching the mountains in no time at all before setting down within small clearings in a tightly packed forest.

From the assorted ships poured two dozen men, each lightly armored and armed. Behind them came a dozen Sirens, each wearing full helmets to disguise themselves, and no emblems. And behind them, came the Two Sister Queens of Rattatak, dressed as common Mercenaries.

“The village is just over that ridge, the gunships will hit them first, all we have to do is clean up.”

As the Slaver spoke to Nemene she simply nodded, her body shaking slightly as overhead the gunships zoomed towards the nearby village.

Aedan Miles sat in the command chair of his Phoenix-class destroyer the Gaan be Kyr'am the early warning systems in this area had indicated the arrival of 3 frigate class ships so Aedan had mobilized his forces taking the Gaan be Kyr'am, Dog of War, Jai'galaar, and Trapper. His forces numbered 1 Phoenix-class destroyer, 2 Haran'uliik-class light frigates, and a Krayt-class-light cruiser. His eyes gleaming darkly as the ships flew through hyperspace on this ship he had [member="Nolan Detta "][member="Nemene Talith"] [member="Kable Detta"] [member="Allison Willamina"]. Aedan sat in the command chair bridging his fingers lightly as he leaned forward. His ships were all prepared for trouble and his eyes gleamed fiercely. Someone thought they could come into Mando Territory and word had come in that they were landing troops apparently. They would have hell to pay once the new young Rally Master and his companions were to arrive. Activating the ships communications he sent a ship wide communication. "This is Rally Master Aedan Miles to all forces on the Gaan be Kyr'am we are nearing the planet Gala reports from local Mandalorian forces state that whoever is there is landing a large amount of shuttles. Once we are out of hyperspace my battle group will move so that all ground forces can launch." His voice rang out calmly and confidently he had been changing and maturing greatly sense he had created Clan Akaata.

Nolan strapped on a couple bandoleers of Forcebreaker grenades, twelve grenades in total. His Kath Hound strapped, loaded and cleaned, along with his Charging Rhyno and his Beskad sat in its sheath in the center of his back. He heard that an unwanted individual was attempting to take the inhabitants as slaves. Also, they were in Mandalorian territory, and the clans would not let that happen.

All set for the mission boss, the Legion is waiting your orders and I'm moving to the escape pods. Once out of hyperspace, I'll race you to the ground!

I smiled as I handed the credits over to the woman at the counter. Buying a fresh apple, I bit into it as I walked out of the shop.

Taking a small pit stop a Gala, I had decided to stop here on my way to Mandalore. The Home planet of the mandos and back to where my family was. I knew that they were long gone, but I wanted to make sure that everything was found. I was walking towards my ship, when I heard sirens going off. Ships had entered the atmosphere and were not confirming who they were apparently. I turned and looked to the sky as I could see many ships up in the air.

I looked around as some other people did, and before I could do anything else, I dropped the newly bought apple and ran to my ship. Running up into the ramp, I got in and moved my ship. Away from the city to be in the forest. I moved it to a wide open area. Taking about five minutes to get to the sighting, I looked around. Usting the force, I moved trees and shrubs around the ship to hide it somewhat. After I had grabbed my gear, A Beskad, A pair of Beskar daggers, two MM-27's and a durasteel mask that hid my face.

I grabbed some extra ammo for my slugthrowers as well. and sat down on my Silk-5 Speeder bike. I needed to head to the city. Something was up with that many ships in the air, and I was not willing to lose my smuggler ship to all that up there. The entire time, the voices in my head arguing over what I was doing. Right now, I was too focused to answer them.

Sayuri looked at Allison as the cerberus was being loaded up. For each of the mandalorians to use as Aedan had dragged the Willamina clan and the behemoth of a mandalorian strapped on her back one of the new rifless as Sayuri took her seat in the second section of the massive droid. Allison had made up with Aedan or at least she wasn't going to go and snap him with her huge crushgaunt or beskad. That bastard of a sword on her back and her size almost while in full armor all eleven feet of her almost checked systems. "Cerberus units prepared for drop."

Ceto - 3: 22 AM , Local Time

Bony elbow nudged his ribs, prodding back into consciousness. Whimpering and small cries were coming from the crib in the corner of the room and [member="Thessa Kai"] was subtly telling him it was his turn. Yawning as his feet swung out of bed, Judah soon scooped up his son ans was heading sleepily downstairs. By now he was beginning to become a pro at navigating the beach house in the dark. The first few times involved numerous stubbed toes and almost dropping Makai.

"Hopefully your Ma left you some milk, otherwise its her turn"

Luckily for the Galan upstairs there was some in refrigeration unit. It was the small matter of heating and soon the infant boy was gulping down his late night snack. Certainly Makai had inherited his eating habits and was already fairly solid. Not wanting to stand in the kitchen for the entire period, Judah picked his way to the living room and sat down on the couch, stretching his legs on the coffee table. A bit of one handed juggling and soon the holonet was flipped on, illuminating the room brighter. Flipping through, he yawned once more, seeing far too many infomericals and terrible late night programming. Bored, he turned on Ceto News Network.

"CNN, Your trusted source for Ceto and Galactic News"

An overly perky near-human female announcer appeared on the screen, joined by graphics over her shoulder and a ticker on the bottom. News scrolled by in Basic and Aubresh, updating the little southern out of the way planet on the goings on.

"....and that concludes our Spotlight on Ceto. Up next, our Galactic News Hour. A group calling itself the One Sith continues to make progress within Republic territory. With the fall of Coruscant has the galaxy lost its center? We'll focus on the financial impacts at 7 AM local time during the Credit Report right here on CNN..."

Judah yawned more and looked at Makai, still gulping down his bottle, baby-blue eyes half watching him.

"....The planet of Gala is once again being raided by slavers. Previously held in Sith territory, Gala is now a part of the Mandolorian sector. No word on if the Mandolorians will allow such actions to continue. Updates on this story will be in later editions of Galactic News Hour...."

Judah felt his stomach drop. Gala was his wife's home. All of her brothers still lived on planet. He had plans to perhaps purchase a second home on the planet, letting their son experience being in the majority rather than minority, to see his extended family. It wasn't the first time Galans had been taken as slaves and it gave him great pause. Personal concerns that his son would be subjected to such things ran high, a concern he hadn't shared with Thessa.

Now the question was, did he go to the planet and try to get Thessa's family off? Judah certainly had the deep pockets to send in a PMC and extract who he wanted. Yet he knew little of the planet, going in blind wouldn't help anyone.

Rally Master Kable Detta stood on the bridge next to fellow Rally Master [member="Aedan Miles"]. They were nearing planet Gala which was in Mandalorian space, in response some unidentified visitors.
Kable was fully clad in his new beskar'gam with the a red shawl drap across his shoulders, a gift from Rally Master [member="Preliat Mantis"]. His buy'ce was clipped to his belt as he he watched the tactical scans which showed troops being dropped planet side. He shook his head because he knew the carnage that was coming for the unsuspecting enemy troops.
He checked his rifle which was slung to his chest to ensure it was fully powered, then he checked the Ripper Mk II which was holstered on his right thigh. Satisfied that his firearms were fully functional and ready for battle, he felt the hilt of the Beskad that was sheathed across his back, underneath his jetpack. Finally he looked down to the bandoleer across his chest which held 6 force breaker grenades and 6 thermals. He was ready to fight!

He nodded at Aedan "I'll get the boys ready"
He exited the bridge and made his way to the hanger where his drop pods were. A company of Mandalorian warriors had been assigned to Kable, one of the perks of his position. Seeing their Commander enter the hanger, they all snapped to attention in their respected columns. Kable walked up and stood in front of them. "At ease"
He began pacing the line as he spoke. "Listen up vod. Someone decided to come to Gala and land troops without asking for our permission. We are going to show them what the consequences for that are. I don't know how many there are, but I do know that we, WE ARE MANDALORIANS!" The warriors in front of him shouted in unison as Kable continued "Fight with me, and I'll fight for you. Lets load up and go wipe out the stain that is threatening our sovereignty!"
The warrior shouted again, then began to load up into their respected drop ships. Kable put his buy'ce on and boarded his own drop ship and waited for their departure from hyperspace. When they entered real space, they would be ready, but those on planet, they were not prepared for what was coming.....

Kable and Kad in action, oh and Nolan was supposed to be along as well. This business about slaves and such, no good. Ral was off on some force thing, or whatever it was they called it. Kad didn't care as she needed to do it, and well she was Mandokarla she could take care of herself. Though he did still wish her well, and hoped she came back safe.

"Mando'ade!!!! Kad shouted before getting in his own droid.

The armor he had crafted for [member="Kable Detta"] looked good on him. Hopefully he didn't ruin this set.

Raven black hair ruled the roost atop of Evelynn's head, dyed of course, only proving to make the creature known as Evelynn look far more severe than blonde ever could. Had Kaine Zambrano's genes fought a little harder for dominance then this was a look through the mirror of what-if. Frankly with that ghastly complexion it proved to make her look nothing more than a lightly-armoured goth.

A disruptor pistol sat holstered at her belt, a far cry from her usual staff, but the unique stick would have definitely given some of the game away.

Pitter patter came the sound of radio chatter:

“Captured three dozen villagers, moving them to the transports now.”

Beneath the armour the girl had been equipped with a pair of knee braces, because when push came to shove being stuck with a hobbling waif was the last thing you needed to be concerned about in the heat of good-old fashioned slaving.

Clutching railing above her head with her right hand, the woman's form rattled along with the ship, her artificial blue eyes looking to her sister. In the back of her mind the gospel of her Goddess Nemene reigned supreme, but on the surface of things there was nothing out of place. All business and no play.

Evelynn, keeping true to her form of public speaking said nothing and would follow her sister on the charge, their adventure in slaving first-hand.

Nemene unlike her sister stood outside the ship, watching as slavers set up a small base camp and created slight fortifications. She smiled slight behind her cloth mask as on of the Cara-class gunships swooped over head, rattling the air slightly and the landed peth-class shuttles.

She heard the call over the radio and smiled.

“Good, have the shuttles return to the Harpy and signal for it to leave immediately.” Even as she spoke she could hear the rumble of one of the peth-class shuttles engines turning on. It would not be a massive haul, but then again they weren't really here to capture the men and women of Gala, no that would be rather foolish.

Her lips twisted even more upward when another soldier told her long range sensors had picked up a group of capital ships heading towards them.

Excellent.

The Sith Lady smiled slightly, and began to direct troops to hide the ships under camouflage netting and tree branches. Sure they would know they were here, but it would be nearly impossible to locate the ships that were still on the ground, the Mandalorians would have to come to them...or risk killing thousands with an orbital bombardement.

Aedan Miles sat on the command chair of the Gaan be Kyr'am pointing ahead he gestured another ship wide communication opening up. "All hands to battle stations we are about to engage 3 unknown frigates in combat. All Cerberus war droids prepare for drop we will be in optimal drop position in one minute. May the force be with you all. Sensors are picking up shuttles leaving the ground odds are they are holding prisoners I want ion cannons only on those ships DO NOT destroy them if at all possible." Aedan's features and voice had taken in a MUCH darker note and his hands gripped the arms of his command chair tightly as he gestured forward once muttering. "Launch all fighters have the Trapper activate its gravity well generators. I want the Dog of War and the Jai'galaar to move forward and search out those ships they shuttles came in on. I know they are here somewhere in the mean time move the Gaan be Kyr'am to deal with those shuttles Ion cannons ONLY. Have all available Teganaalir-class patrol ships report here to act as assistance with this. Once they are disabled have them tractored into the hangar and boarded forcefully all prisoners on them are to be taken and fed while the others are to be stunned and restrained for later questioning." Aedan watched as the two Haran'uliik-class light frigates started to create a grid search pattern as the Krayt-class light cruiser came to a stop as its hangar full of ships launched to defend it. The Phoenix-class moved to place itself in the way of the shuttles priming its ion cannon batteries so it could disable them as it made its way towards them launching its fighter compliment and the necessary equipment to dispatch the Cerberus war droids down towards the planet. They were the advance force to secure a landing zone for farther troops. As he watched the ships movements he noted the Tegaanalir-class patrol ships moving to support him as ordered.

...of course Garrus Garon had come along on this exodus answering the call of Gala's plight, without ever even knowing what it was, he was a fighter and like all warriors he was itching for a good fight. Well he would have been if he wasn't asleep. Unlike a lot of people Garrus didn't have time for fancy speeches meant to rose the troops he'd helped himself to a bottle while the Mandalorian ships were in hyperspace, climbed into a drop pod and promptly started to doze off. It was strange for Garrus who was usually an insomniac but all this warfare he'd been involved in lately had really helped calm his nerves and allowed him to catch a few hours of sleep whenever it was possible. Well Garrus wasn't going to complain about it anyways because it meant he was actually looking somewhat well rested...

...almost instinctively he was awoken by the sounds of [One minute to optimal drop position] and with a mutter Garrus would reach down and retrieve his helm before securing it into place over his head and activating its latent systems. He was wearing his Heavy Mandalorian Armor complete with a Personal Energy Shield attached to his hip via a belt and outfitted with a larger power pack on his back to give it a life expectancy for upwards of an hour rather than minutes like usual. The Warrior also came with his Beskad, the large mandalorian blade, which was sheathed back behind him with hilt extending up over his left shoulder and a Vornskr Mark 8 Scattergun which he'd lain across his thighs while resting back in the drop pod. It wouldn't be a party if Garrus didn't have something he could use to cause explosions with either meaning he was carrying a few grenades as well, probably at least one forcebreaker and a ton of fragmentation grenades, though it wasn't uncommon for him to blow his load, as it were, early in a battle with all of those...

...half the time Garrus forgot he was a Rally Master now, head of Clan Garon while his Brother was on sabbatical too, and looking out of his drop pod he'd have said...
"Yeah just go down there and fight."...to the men he'd noticed were staring at him. Not much for speeches as had been indicated. Then, without further adieu, Garrus would reach across and shut the entrance to his drop pod so that he could wait in relative silence as the time ticked down to zero...

With a ship taking five minutes to get where I was, the build up of speed for the Silk-5 speeder brought me to be to the village in about the same time. Maybe a half a minute or two later. I brought the ship to slow down, when I could see ships coming down. I brought my ship as close as I could get. I then shut down the engines and even from here, outside the city, I could hear silence. Which was not normal. Bringing round the speeder to the city gates, all the people were looking at screams as people were trying to figure out what the ships here were for.

I slowed my speeder. Watching with them, and only wondering.

Sayuri looked at the ones there who were going and down and they were in ships and pods. Other soldiers were ready to come but she remained with her sister for a moment while they went through the checklist and Allison spoke over the coms. "We are ready to drop when you get us into position." Sayuri had a large grin on her face while looking to the screen. Checking the seals of the suit and compartment for her on the droid. "Lets roll out and smash some sith."

Nolan launched an escape pod that was aimed at the shuttles. Nolan punched the engines on the pod and came close to the vessels. He made them change course to avoid his trajectory. He pointed the pod down towards the starport. As he struck, he tightened up and popped the hatch. He came roaring out of the pod, Kath Hound spitting all manner of death. Nolan cleared the hangar bay and ran to the lifts then descended to the terminal area. He tossed a thermal detonator as the lift doors opened to kick things off down below. Nolan estimated around 50 left, but nothing Nolan Detta, the fool-hardy, angry younger brother of the Detta clan couldn't handle. He used the powers he had unlocked on Bastion to aid his slaughter. He crushed soldiers, blew brains, and shot hole after hole in the enemy. He stayed to wait for the Mandalorian shuttles. He drew his Charging Rhyno and his beskad. Nolan let the rage he felt flow through him. He was ready for the arrival of the enemy reinforcements. Not caring who was coming, but were they Sith, they would die.

Location: Surface of Gala, outside of his drop pod.
Objective: Kill

The savage of Ordo arrived early, ahead of the rest of the Mandalorians with him. He held his helmet at his side, climbing up to a bundle of rocks on the edge of the cliff he had landed near. It gave him a good overview of the area, and he was well within sight of the Sith, if they so chose to look. He didn't carry his jetpack, but did carry something unique, a beskad lay diagonally across his back, and another small knife at the small of his back. He held his helmet at his side, turning his head upwards to see the incoming flares of drop pods, dotting the sky. Preliat gripped his helmet tightly, drifting away from the cliff, his movements low and stalking, much like the predator he was. He resembled more of a kath hound nowadays, stalking and savagely attacking his foes, leaving nothing but ravaged bodies and little to no survivors.

"Mantis, on station."

Forget the ships. The shuttles, the freighters, the starfighters, the gunships. I'll skip the technicals, the technicalities, I didn't log onto Command and Conquer on this day, I logged into the mind of a broken and bowed woman, no military tactician, no orders to bellow and strategy to oversee.

Just a woman.

She had hopped off of the shuttle, those knee braces evidently a life saver for supporting such decrepit legs. Far from an opposing figure she kept a close eye upon Nemene, who was completely in her element commanding troops and slavers alike. Her sister's game was control, she savoured it, flourished it in and Evelynn would follow, whether she wanted to or not.

Of course, the Silent Sister had her own game.

Out of the way of those trampling boots the Puppet Queen went down upon one knee. A prayer, some would muse. Far from it. For you see a disrupter pistol is simply not enough protection for one waif, no way, no how. Through the grass a subtle influence would begin to spread. Nothing to effect the local populace, nor the Mandalorians but the beasts of Gala. The fauna.

The warm-blooded, the cold, the feathered, the furred the things that bump, crawl and buzz in the night. No element of nature was left out from this Beast Master's call. Although it would take a mite of time and focus to properly harness such a power.

It was time.
The green light was lit, and the drop pods were launched. Kable was strapped in alongside his men as his own pod shot towards the planet. The pod shuddered violently as it broke atmosphere then continued its plummet to the surface.
Through his HUD he checked the status of the other pods. All were still in tact and account for so far. He wasn't sure if the unidentified troops had anti-air defenses. And if they did, if they even had time to set them up and calibrate them. If so, they would find out shortly.
The pods themselves could take a beating, so Kable wasn't worried about losing many.

He activated his helmet comm so that he could address all of his troops.
<Alright boys, once we hit, I want squads A,B and C to set up a parameter. D squad, you're on me, we're going to scout the area. Send whatever intel you discover back to the fleet so that they can plan accordingly. LETS DO THIS!>
A collective shout filled his ears from their response.
Next he comm'd the fleet.
<Gaan, this is Marev Al'Verde, impact in 30 seconds!> [member="Aedan Miles"]
Nemene Talith Nolan Detta Allison Willamina Kad Tor [member="Evelynn"] [member="Preliat Mantis"][member="Garrus Garon"][member="Aden Dawson"]

Kad let out a shout when the pod dropped. It was time. Moments like these are what made a Mando'ad feel pride. Kad lived to fight, to work, to raise a family, and to love. This what it meant to live by the Resol'nare. Did he like being away from his shop, his home, or his spitfire, no, but this was duty. Soon he would be getting shot, but what else was new. They had enemies to deal with. Things to destroy, which meant Kad had explosive ordinances. He was already. P for plenty.

Kable's voice sounded off in his comm, and Kad made note of the directions. They were going together then. The beskarsmith wouldn't have it any other way. There were many ready for this, some would die today, but it was Kad's job to make sure Kable went home to Briika.

<Don't go snapping on me today Kab'ika> Kad said through a private channel. <If I have to take you home in a body bag, I might as well put myself in one, and that riduur of yours will still find us in hell to kill us all over again.>
