SPECIAL FEATURES

  • Provides a Battlemind effect to the wielder. Increasing their stamina and strength.
  • naturally gifts the wielder a form of Crucitorn, which allows the wielder to fight even at the brink of death. However, as the effect cannot be shut off by the wielder, the can become in a state where they are unaware of the damage done to them, and thus don't know where their limit is.
  • Fills the wielder with dark emotions to empower them with the force. Depending on the individual it can be a form of a Focused Rage, or a Berserker Rage.
  • Victims struck by the weapon have their power siphoned to the wielder.

STRENGTHS

• Greatly increases stamina and strength,

WEAKNESSES

• Can weaken allies, or siphon energy from allies who attempt to be close to the wielder.
• Aids no one other than the user of the weapon.

• While fighting can be near death, the user doesn't know where this point is. This could mean after a combat situation ends, the user could shut off the lightsaber, and then die immediately or soon after.
• Force Nullification effects can limit or prevent effects from affecting individuals who are affected by the weapon.
• Effects of the weapon can be restricted by way of void stone.
• Force Suppression can prohibit the wielder of the weapon.
• Dark siders can drawn to attack the wielder of the weapon. As they too will begin to have the whispers of power.
• The Soulsaber is not known to be indestructible. As such, the weapon can be destroyed via force abilities, weapons striking it, or otherwise.
• Like a normal Lightsaber, resistant metals can resist it, and Cortosis can short out the blade.
• Individuals who are Force Dead, will find little to no effects upon themselves from the effects.

DESCRIPTION
"The Soulsaber was built by a Dark Jedi, and he used it in a bloody battle on Pamorjal against the Jedi Order, in which many Jedi Masters died. However, the Dark Jedi was ultimately defeated, and the Jedi concealed the Soulsaber in a remote system, protecting it with the light side of the Force in the Cavern of Light on the planet ZXK-100346.6a. The Dark Jedi Thaum Rystra later went and stole the artifact with the unwilling assistance of Caeleb, who enabled Rystra to bypass the light-side protection." - Soulsaber Wookieepedia

For nearly a thousand years it had been lost to time. Becoming a legend, and myth among the Jedi and Sith alike. A weapon of absolute power, or that of complete destruction of the force. Many have suspected that the original creator of the weapon was an extremely powerful Dark Jedi who was well acquainted with the powers of Sith Magics, and Alchemy. Thus in the creation of the weapon, being "sanctified" by killing an untold number of Jedi Masters as a sort of Christening for the weapon. As such, many assume the weapon was created through Alchemy or Magics to have various abilities one would consider, unnatural.

Yet, for a time, it was found by a singular Sith. Mikhail Shorn had found the weapon years ago during the time of the Old Sith Empire. Where upon he used it to great efficiency. Wielding it with his combined prowess in Telekinesis, many considered him to be a God among men. Yet, this usage was short lived. For he dissapeared into the night. Never heard or seen for years. It is unsure what happened to him, and where the saber was.

It was years later, that in an effort to search planets for the Mandalorian Protectors, that Chaaj Priest, and Zel Sharratt were exploring a unique area in which life was being destroyed upon a planet. Each searching for what may have been the cause of such an event to transpire. From this, Chaaj, found the saber. Hidden and kept safe where he hid it from his own ally due to feeling its dark presence within the force, while Zel, who is not force sensitive could not feel such. As it was never activated within his presence. Instead, Chaaj kept the weapon for himself. An act of selfishness allowed the weapon to come back into the Galactic stage.

What the Mandalorian Fallen Jedi will do with it, is anyone's guess.

Man, I have to admit this is a cool submission Chaaj Priest there are just a few things I'd like to clear up with you.

1) Manufacturer: We do need a link here per the template, even if you say it was restored by your character, or someone else after it was found.

2) Dark Side Nexus: The factory does not allow Dark Side Nxi in factory submissions, a nexus is solely the provenance of the codex. The best alternative here is some kind of alchemized effect, due to the whispers and it's effect on others, I was thinking some corrupted form of battle meditation might have that effect? Do you think that would work? The life drain can easily be seen as a way to power the enhancements, and everything else can work in that kind of set up if you agree.

2, I want to make sure I am on the same.page as what you are asking. So removal of the word Nexus, and format the submission to be labeled as an "Area of Effect" which the weapon performs these actions? Or are you specifically wanting a reference like you presented?

Alright, in attempting to keep the idea of the canon artifact alive within the sub, I have edited what I believe was necessary in the special features to more accurately reflect it being a weapon created by Sith Alchemy or Magic.

I also added a paragraph to the description about this conception of the weapon created by Sith Alchemy or magics, and removed mentions of a "nexus" and instead was an Aura around the user.

Let me know if there are more necessary changes to the weapon.

That's a lot better start, but we're still running into 2 issues with the submission.

1) Nexus:

It's still acting like a nexus, and that's something that will not be allowed via the factory at all. There's no give on this, the submissions can't act as a darkside nexus, I know that the canon item is, however this is one of the hard rules that we have. The elements here are the aura of the darkside and the extreme levels of corruption that comes with it.

2) Powers

There are an lot of powers here, and alchemy tends to focus on just a few. Could you perhaps focus down on a few powers that you're like? Or maybe just some effects that you're trying to have? The ones that are important to you?

Been a minute. Thank you for the wait and patience.

1. Removed any and all mentions of Area of effects or nexus based powers. (I believe I got them all. if I missed any please do let me know)
2. Nailed down the weapon to just be "Siphon power/debilitate those who are stricken with the weapon" and "Gives beneficial effects to wielder at cost of being turbo-evil/Nearly dying every time its used."

I believe that is what you requested. As a "Canon" item I am trying to keep as much as the flavor of the weapon as possible. Which is the whole "who uses the weapon becomes turbo evil when using it."

Are these hte debilitating effects you receive when struck? Or just generally receive in the saber's vicinity? IF you could clarify that in the submission.
