Strengths:
The Spirit of Angramar- The Spear has it's own aura around it altering the very weather around it to be most of the time chaotic. It holds the spirit of a Smoke Demon created from the life essence of the moon of Angramar and then captured and enslaved inside the Lava Crystal at the blade. The Sheer power of the spirit trapped inside the spear gives the wielder incredible control over the weather around him.
Oppression Nexus- Using the teaching of the Sith Lord Adas through the Axe of Adas, Mythos creates this, his ultimate creation, the nexus it sports is special. Not only does it give him the power of a dark side nexus, any lightsider that comes within 5 meters of the spear is instantly bombarded with the flashes of the battle of Atrisia and the battles of Ancient Korriban. A mix between the mental harm done by both the skull and the axe, both keys to creating this weapon. In addition to this, abilities specifically attuned to the light side of the force becomes dampened in this 5 meter radius and standing in the radius and not being attuned to the darkside can downright cause nausea.
Designed by a Juyo Specialist- The spear is still very much a combat weapon. It breaks down into two blades; one designed to hack and cleave and the other to thrust and puncture. It will deflect blaster fire but redirecting them back is incredibly difficult even for Mythos himself. In a combat training eviorment Mythos accurately deflected a single blaster bolt back to the training droid that shot it in an entire training day. it is possible but incredibly hard, much like the Rudis deflecting blaster bolts alone is difficult.
Actual Lighting! Fear the power of nature's wrath!- The main boon given by the spear is an easy manipulation of the environment but it does this so well that a Sith Lord with a powerful enough hand for Sith Lightning can conjure actual lightning to strike his foes. Lightning from nature is much different than sith lightning and the spear allows the user to simply point and bash their enemies with lightning but this has to follow the laws of science and nature. It is impossible to do indoors or in space. The atmosphere needs to allow it. The victim must have ground for electricity to travel from the clouds to the victim ect. Important to note that casting a single bolt of lightning takes almost perfect focus and taxes the user greatly, it is highly unlikely that any humanoid can cast more than four.
Range- Lightabers are shorter than this weapon as are the majority of weapons in the galaxy that warriors use to engage in close quarter combat.
The Light Hidden Within the Darkness- [member="Lady Kay"] Helped Mythos bless one of his blades and he was careful to keep it in a place where it would be free from any corruption. With Her help he was able to imbue the blue kyber crystal with the Light of the Jedi. On the Pommel of the weapon is the blue crystal isolated and insulated with several layers of Terentatek leather and oil. Alchemy and rituals keep the darkness away from it and it remains there pure, as a counter balance to one of the most evil weapons in the galaxy. There must always be balance or so Mythos always says.
Devourer of the weak- It feeds on the souls of the weak willed making it stronger however the amount of souls the blade would need to consume in order for it to actually grow in any palpable way is impractical. For this to come into play the blade has to physically kill the target with the blade, blood must soak the Phirk. Hundreds killed this way won't even make a small increment, it would takes thousands upon thousands. Mythos considers it a waste of time.
Weaknesses:
Nuclear Heat- The Oppression Nexus is something Jedi can focus and detect in Meditation across the galaxy with ease. It is a known dot in the galaxy in the mind's of those attuned to the light as is the Suns to Tatooine natives. If you seek to destroy this evil it will never be hard to find, nothing so benign can possibly hide.
Impractical weapon- As a weapon a spear is impractical, hard to fit into most vehicles because of it's size, small corridors, tunnels ect.
Heavy- Even for it's size it is a heavy weapon. It's material is normally light but the heavy Alchemy on the weapon makes each part feel like lead pumped with cement inside. At least it's got some blunt trauma.
This Ain't Kansas No More Dorothy and That's not Toto. That's a tree branch flying at ya at 120 mph.- Having a literal Storm around you at all times is bad for your health to say the very least. The aura around the spear is constant, even in space the transport of this weapon is extremely hazardous. The control it gives you over your environment becomes a curse quickly as you must use it constantly in order to survive the storm which you have now become the eye of. What in normal combat or even walking could be considered a "Loss In Concentration" with the spear it quickly becomes a matter of life and death as a rouge tree bark flying at 60mph may skewer you like kebab or worse, be struck by your own bolts of lightning.
Only the Mighty- It takes a serious amount of willpower and physical strength to wield this weapon alone. To use it effectively in combat it takes a truly experienced Sith Lord with knowledge on the weapon. It taxes even the most worthy and qualified to the point where if battles drag on for longer than five minutes they might not have any stamina left. Using it at full power for more than six minutes is impossible for anyone.
A monster inside seeks revenge- Angramar lives tortured inside the spear. Should the seal be broken and he be set free Angramar would seek to exact punishment for he who cast him into such a fate.
?- It has inside the Lava crystal a piece of the Mysterious Ancient Eye found in Ankghypt. This is one fragment of an artifact of untold power but as of now it's effects seem unknown or hidden.
DESCRIPTION
Very few things alchemically speaking Mythos created other than Sith Spawn and the odd weapon here or there. Yet Mythos was taught by the best, King Adas in the Axe of Adas through all his years wielding it slowly but surely began teaching him his secrets and Mythos learned but did not execute. It was later he would come to have his Rudis, created by the Dark lord of the Sith himself and the Wrath. It's design also fueling his own ideas but again, he refrained from actually putting them into place... no.... He still needed more than just that.
After living years as a hermit in Midvinter, leaning their craft he discovered their ability to isolate crystals and metals to create an even more powerful version of durasteel and the steel known in the galaxy. Valkyr steel, the best blades in the galaxy according to some and Mythos himself had faced one in battle before. Years he spent there honing his craft as a blacksmith, knowing from Adas that half of the work of Alchemy was in itself creating the weapon, the physical part, the part of the warrior before the force. The first step was simple but it took him so many years to achieve because it took so many years for the opportunity to arise. Mythos killed his own son and used his soul as the first meal of the spear during an invasion of The Resurgent Empire. The blade had been tempered with the steel of one Mythos had loved. In Tyfferra would the blood of the enemy come. Once the steel had passed both those bloods it was time for the final pieces to come together.
With the help of Kay he had the piece of the light to place in the spear, With the Help of the Anubians he soul charged the weapon in the Black Pyramid where He, Himself came back from the dead and fueled the blade using the countless souls funneled through him by @Skrovek in his world of Erebos. After all these years he was so close but it still needed a living entity inside it much like the Axe of Adas needed one to be so powerful. Adas said it himself. "The Weapon must have a host, willing or unwilling matters not"
Mythos sought not to seek out a powerful entity but to create one and then enslave it. With the help of [member="Warok the Defiler"] he was able to do just that. He took the living essence of his own world and gave it form through a Sith Ritual, then took that form manifest and bound it to the crystal to serve as the host of the spear.
With all the pieces in place Mythos traveled far to the moon of Nahilium, to a tribe of beings of the Nachata. Their is the prophecy that here is where the "spear that bleeds the sky" will be made. Mythos was not there for prophecy, he was there to caatch a solar flare that would hit an Asteroid he had the pieces on. Only the heat of that flare would soften the metal to the point it could be molded. So with the fire of a star, for sixty nine days and nights Mythos carved the spear using the Axe of Adas as a hammer of sorts. When he emerged, the moon was drowned in thunder and lightning. This moon is located in a sector of the galaxy close to the Sii-Ruuvi cluster unmarked in any star chart Mythos had seen.
Now complete the spear rests upon his shoulder in the ranks of the Sith Empire as much a banner of status and power and authority as it is one of combat and martial prowess.
