The Spiritual Force, and Physical Body [Open]

Sochi was asked to assist in the training of [member="Xander Carrick"], as an instructor she upheld this duty, and was more than willing to help. She cared deeply for the next generation. Knowing that, she allowed open entry to her lessons of today, she had to consider that multiple students were probably dealing with the same situations as the young Carrick.

This day Sochi had worn a cream backless top with a deep V-front (that shows her both bare back and shoulders) and brown straps around her midriff that accentuated her chest and bellybutton. She had a light brown loincloth and homemade bikini bottom. She also sported bit of gray cloth wrapped around her feet (that shows both her bare toes and heels) and most of it around both leg calves (that shows her right knee) and left forearm (with a couple silver spikes on it). Brown straps she's tied around her lekku and montrals. She made a note that the participants should wear something they could move freely in.

She sat outside The Silver Temple, maybe a mile away in an offshoot grove that she turned into a training ground. She sat in meditation in the center of the widespread grove that would be surrounded by the lushness of Voss. She awaited her student.

The forest was a quiet place to be, and it should stay as such. I brought only myself and a single lightsaber. While I wore a black sleeveless Jedi robe top with a set of slacks. THe black and brown top went well with the brown slacks. It was also lose and able to be used should I have to move. As a request of the Jedi Master [member="Sochi Ru"].

I walked out to the grove of where I was to meet this Master of the Silver Jedi Order. It had been a long time it seemed since I have had a formal training lesson with someone. and lest to say, I was slightly nervous. I could feel the Jedi master. An almost calm presence inside the grove. Following the signature of her, I came to an opening of the grove, and inside I could see the Togruta within.

I raised my hand as a hello while making myself be known verbally. "Hello Master Ru, Thank you for meeting with me today."

She came out of her meditation, her montrals raising slowly, and her black yes becoming visible. She stood slowly, and allowed a warm, and welcoming subtle smile greet the Jedi Knight as he approached the grove. She walked slowly to greet him, meeting him halfway. When they would come the same distance, she halted in her movements to bow before him showing her respects.

"[member="Xander Carrick"], Hello. Its not a problem, I don't mind helping anyone out. Shall we begin? Come." she said softly, while motioning for him to follow her. They would approach the area where she was situ in meditation. She motioned for him to take a seat, and she would sit in front of him. Then she would begin the lessons.

"You were seeking to gain better control of Telekinesis, I'm aware that you don't have the highest numbers of Midi Chlorians, this is fine, there are ways to counter this. One particular way, and a philosophy I follow when teaching all of my padawans is of the Matukai, are you familiar?"

I watched as the Female Jedi Master stood up and came towards me. As she had bowed, I followed suit, even when it was usually customary for her to bow after me. Regardless, I nodded my head as she asked if we should begin. Following her down to the center of the grove where she sat herself down in front of me, I did so myself siting with my legs crossed.

she began to speak with knowledge of my limited abilities with force powers. Sure I could learn a lot of powers, maybe. But I could not preform well in them. I was as good as an apprentice level ranked student was in them, while my saber skills I knew could possibly rival that of Masters. However, I still had much to learn. she continued about how there was a way to get past this problem of mine. I had faith in Master Ru that she could help me with this. I only wondered in what way she was going to go across doing it.

At her question of Matukai. I shook my head with the response, "No I do not, I have focused too much in my bladework and not in my abilities of the force. Hence my lack of knowledge." I could almost feel as though it was something that I should have known before hand. but I had not. I was focused too heavily on my bladework and using lightsaber forms. It was like having upper body exercise without working on the lower body. it just didn't balance out.

[member="Sochi Ru"]

She peered with her deep black eyes, they didn't speak of harm, it was a soothing shade of black, one that was augmented by her exotic pigmentation. She nodded, as it was fine that he wasn't exactly sure of the culture of the Matukai, as it was her job to provide him with said information; and she was more than delighted. She was just happy it peaked his interest.

"The Matukai were an organization of Force adepts who used the physical body to channel the Force. Matukai philosophy was centered around creating a balance and harmony between the spiritual Force and the physical body." she saidmexplaining. "They use exercise as a form of meditation. Their training involved meditative martial arts, physical training, and somatic rituals, and they were noted for being able to develop a Force-sensitivity in many beings who were not inherently gifted with the Force." she said following up her original statement.

"Today I'm gonna teach you different exercises and techniques that will strengthen your connection and allow you to progress easier in your training. Now shall we begin?"

[member="Xander Carrick"]

I paid close attention to the Jedi master as she spoke of this form. Giving detail of how it was a physical form of movement used in contrast with the force to increase sensitivity. As well as being about the center of balance and a Center of being. I was all up for this. I liked to keep my body in shape anyways. If I was going to be going out on missions for the Jedi, then I would have to keep my physical shape. Hopefully by learning this, I could do it during hyperspace travels and in my free time.

Nodding my head as she asked if we were ready to begin. "Yes, I am ready as I will ever be."

Connor could hear voices and especially that of Master [member="Sochi Ru"] up ahead. Moving gently but swiftly forward from the Temple into the grove, he came upon his Master and that of [member="Xander Carrick"], fellow Silver Jedi whom he had seen around the Temple numerous times.

He expected they would have felt his presence closing in on them, so he made no effort to hide himself as he came into view from behind.

"Excuse me, forgive the interruption, but am I too late to join this session?"

Conner offered a slight smile to Xander and a small bow of the head to Sochi as he stood before them, dressed in his simple charcoal grey trousers and vest, his tunic and greatcoat still inside.

She nodded, and when she proceeded to speak once again, they were greeted by another; indeed it was her Padawan. She was content with the fact that he would be attending one of her sessions, it showed his eagerness to learn. She motioned over for him to come join them. It would seem he arrived just in time as they were just seconds off of starting.

"No, come Padawan. Have a seat and join in." she said softly, and giving him as much time a he needed to join in. Then she turned her head to speak to both of them. "A teaching of this philosophy is to practice a flexibility of spirit that avoided becoming flustered or upset in order to maintain a stress-free and relaxed state. To practice this we'll utilize Meditation of Emptiness, a form of meditation that requires you to surrender yourself completely to the force. To practice this can bring about inner peace, a sharper focus, an emotional anchor.. Connor this should sound familiar. Close your eyes, and force out all of your negative emotions, when done right you should feel a sense of clarity. Replenishment.

I turned to look at a friend of mine, [member="Connor Harrison"] entering the grove with us. I nodded my head to him As he would be joining us, I then turned my attention back to the Jedi Master. Listening to the information of this art.

The first step was to clear my mind and to connect with the force entirely. Letting the negative emotions that I would have, leave me and be naught in my memory. Nodding my head. I began to work on clearing my mind.

letting the worries of the upcoming missions that I had float away from me. letting the idea of helping someone and their family problems. I simply Let it go and let my mind go free with the force. Forming a bond with the force as best as I could.

Having their welcome to join them, Connor ducked by a large tree branch and moved to sit down before his Master to continue his learning.

Time to once again prove he could detach himself from the emotional state of his body to become something far greater with the Force.

Resting his arms on his thighs, and this time without Sochi having his back, Connor closed his eyes and used the nature around him to create a picture of serenity, peace and isolation from everything around him. He did this, but at the same time allowed himself to be aware of everything, seeming to empty his thoughts of what has been and what can be, to what will be with the Force flowing through him.

There was nothing and no one else around him now; only Connor. He exhaled softly and maintained his focus, his peace and his anchor.

Her form didn't change, she remained in her meditative state, but also reaching out to the others through the force. Trying to get a sense of if they were truly grasping the concept. They were both talented and she didn't not think they wouldn't be able to focus themselves. With her eyes closed, and her exotic face seemingly still tranquil she spoke out to the others,

"That's it, force it all out, and feel the clarity being given to you. Fully submit yourself. she said softly.

They would all sit in these positions for times to come, minutes went by; possibly an half an hour. Sensing the serenity of the surrounding area, she took a deep breath, and she could feel the air gathering and flowing through her nostrils with more ease. She opened her eyes, which allowed the sun above to reflect of the surface of their black appearance. She then straightened out her back,

Alright, I'm sure you can feel the strength of your focus increased, and the negative purged from the body, and soul. Now, were gonna begin the Arch Pose. A mediative stretching exercise. This one might be a bit more physically taxing, and it will put your flexibility to the test." she said softly. "First, you want to place the hands and feet firmly on the ground, and then arch your body into a rounded shape, with the buttocks as high as they could go. This is a physical and meditative exercise working out the physical body, developing flexibility, but also serving its purpose to help you maintain your clarity, and serenity, strengthening your connections." she said performing the exercise as she explained it, for her it was extremely easy as she had developed surperior flexibility from years of practice, and it started with this.

We had to push out the Negative influences that were within our soul. To continue to Push it out, shove it out of our bodies. I continued to do this for what seemed to be an eternity. but even as I felt that time was slowing down, I could feel my body just simply becoming more clear of the things around me.

A soft breeze, the rustle of the leaves, the sound of the wind rushing by my ears. the feeling of my hair against my face. it all became clear as day to me. For once in my life, I felt really good. And I could feel an inner peace. It was something that I could not Fathom until this point.

Once she decided that we had done enough of just siting there, she told us to preform a bridge. I could have guessed what it was, but with my eyes closed I paid attention to the sound of her voice and the directions that were given. I followed suit of her, placing my hands softly on the ground, and bending my rear into the sky. Feeling a burn in my calf's as well as the bottom of my forearms, and lower back.

It was very tranquil and peaceful, not just in the surroundings of the garden, but also in Connor's soul which was refreshing to feel. It was a feeling that he wanted to retain. As Sochi moved into her bridge position, with Xander following, Connor followed suit.

Spreading his hands for a firm distribution of his weight, he placed his feet part evenly and pushed upwards, creating an arc and feeling the burn in the muscles stretching and pulling.

His eyes closed and his mind relaxed, letting the Force run through him and ease the aches that he felt; it was something he shouldn't let burn him as it was simple exercise, nothing more.

Connor let his head roll back, loosening the tension in his neck and becoming one with the grounds, breathing steadily and not moving as he held his position.

After a time, she would release from her hold, the burn was there though more subtle from years of doing this. Once they focused their bodies and got everything flowing they would begin more physical exercises. Just off on the side of them was a boulder, moderately sized, she stood up and dusted herself off. Turning to both young men, she nodded to them, she was sure their was a minimal burn they were feeling.

"One thing that's vital for today's exercises is that you must learn to replenish yourself through the force. You must push the limits of your physical stamina, and use the force to gain strength. Those boulders.." she said pointing over to her right.

"You must push them here, and back to there original position." she said softly, and with her exotic speech.

Feeling the pinch until Master [member="Sochi Ru"] spoke, Connor let out a small grunt as he turned onto his side, collapsing onto the soft earth below.

Rolling onto his knees and relaxing his muscle, he looked over the boulder she had indicated. This would be something else.

He felt the muscle ache and tingle in his arms and legs, but yet he didn't have the inkling to stop and rest; he wanted to push himself. Looking over briefly at [member="Xander Carrick"], he turned back to focus on the boulder he selected.

Without stopping to think about the size of them, Connor rested his hands on his knees and focused his sight on the boulder, wrapping himself around it effortlessly and moving it, slowly, to the side, dragging up slivers of soil and grass as he did.

It suddenly started to feel heavy to him, his strength feeling drained away from just this one action. His head inclined and he focused harder.

The boulder dragged further across and then didn't stop moving. The bead of sweat on his brow indicated he had to wrap up his display before he embarrassed himself.

Moving the boulder back on itself, rolling backwards from where it came, he didn't quite make it reach the start, but he had moved it.

He ached. He was disappointed, but ready to learn to detach himself from what he thought was pain and tiredness to let the Force take over.

The burn was nice. Nothing to harsh or to soft. Just right to twist the body into a feeling of strain. I let the burn rage throughout my body. It was when I could see the Jedi master move her form to sit.

Her speaking of having to learn more of ourself in the force, as well to push the limits of our bodies. The force could only be controlled through our bodies. A vessel of the force. Understanding more now, I had to increase my strength to control the force that others could so easily use. not physical strength, but the strength of my force vessel.

Tasked now with moving one of the boulders. I nodded my head. Waiting as I watched Connor do what was asked. He did fairly well. Watching him finish. I took a deep breath. Doubting myself.

For years I have only been able to barely move small things, or act only on myself with the force. Then, it was hardly any movement. As an apprentice, I could barely levitate my lightsaber. After training I could do more and constructed a second lightsaber with the force. Even created my own Synith-crystal. Now, I needed to move a boulder. Should be easy right?

I reformed by thoughts. believing that I could surpass what I had done before, and I had to strife to better myself. I took another breath of fresh air and then focused on the unmoved boulder. I wanted to test it. See it's true weight. Grabbing it all at once could prove to overextend myself. Tipping the scales in the wrong direction. Reaching out with the force, I envisioned a hand grabbing the rock from underneath.

I opened my eyes and pulled the rock towards me slowly. I could focus on the rock as it came towards me. I could see it come. and at the same time I could feel it slipping from my grasp. I froze up. And tried to grip all of it. Pushing it back to fast and it rolled away past where it was first resting. Letting the connection go, The boulder rolled off. I was sweating from trying to keep the concentration, but failed.

I shook my head and let it fall down to my chest with my hands braced on my knees. I shook my head. once more. Before Anything could be said, I looked to another one. Once more trying to grasp the boulder. I grabbed all of it. Staring at the rock intently. I held out my hand as it came close, and touched the face of the boulder. Pushing it back, I let my hand fall before it started moving once more. back to the place where it once was. in an instant the connection was gone. letting the boulder drop with a loud thump.

Perspiration was already bleeding through my shirt as I had to focus. I finally started to breathe again. During the action, I had held my breath and finally had gotten it back. Sucking in air as though I emerged and broke through the surface of water. Blinking my eyes I looked up to the both of them. Nodding my head breathlessly.
