Xslither the Mandalorian has been hired to exterminate a Jedi named la-so-mun. This mission of course will be very hard and deadly. He met his squad of imperial super commandos soon after.


Chapter One: The Squad


He walked up to one of the members of his squad who looked tougher and said “hey, I am a new member to this squad anything I should know.” The tougher guy responded with a nicer tone then expected and said “well I am tuck that’s module and the other is zeta.” Xslither was satisfied with that and walked off. He felt ready for the mission ahead of him but was still a bit scared.


After a long day of training the day came. He was sent off in a Mandalorian transport with his squad. He tried to talk to zeta a bit but he did not seem very interested. When they arrived at their destination it was a slightly dark terrain with many trees. Xslither had no fear of this but zeta did seem to. Xslither could not help but notice that he was shaking a lot and mumbling to his self. He did notice that Zeta was a lot smaller than the rest of them but did not think much of it. They walked for ages until they heard a loud sound they all jumped up from their spots and grabbed their blasters. They saw light and BOOM!! Out of no where a jedi appeared. He slashed at Module but he got away by an inch with his jet pack. Xslither had never seen a true Jedi before, very few Mandalorians did. La-so-num jumped and almost hit Xslither. After a lot of blasters fired Module finally got his blade out which was bigger than his vibroblade and have the others some time to hit the Jedi. La-so-mun hit Modules leg and it went right through. That was it Module was dead but Xslither had not given up he fired his E11-D right at La-so-mun and killed him. Though they had lost on of there squad members they had killed the Jedi as planned. Xslither of course did not feel to bad it was only one member but the others were quiet and looked down for the rest of there journey. Xslither noticed that these people had been fighting together for a while and Xslither immediately felt bad to. He had got the kill but at what cost. When they got back to the headquarters on Manalore they rested and rested and rested.

[Ender]

Ender woke with a start. The dreams were back. He stepped out of his quarters and grabbed his armour. He gazed out the window.
“Well…” He said to himself.
He pondered why these dreams kept coming. He barley cared about what happened in them. So why? He decided to just check in early for his guard shift. He had a mission coming up in a few days to Takodana.

Just as he checks in he sees a friend of his, Zeta. He looks at him and says,
“Well, how was the mission?” He asks, leaning on the side of the windowsill.
“Eh, we lost one, new member go the kill.” Zeta responds lightly.
“A newbie got the kill?” Ender chuckles.
“Yeah, on a Jedi, must have been a lucky shot.”
“We’ll see.” Ender responds, grinning under his helmet. If a new member was as good as this, maybe a turn could happen. They could stop losing people to the Jedi.
Ender pauses though.
“Is he a true Mandolorian?” He asks skeptically.
“Yes.” Zeta responds with a sigh.
Ender grins once again as he walks to his post.

Chapter 2: Finding friends


At the headquarters he went to see zeta a day after his mission and he was well sad I guess. Xslither understood why and was just there to say sorry for his loss. Xslither had not seen tuck for a while and he asked zeta where his room was. Zeta responded in a sad tone "room 231." When Xslither knocked tuck said to come in and he seemed to have recovered better than zeta. Tuck and Xslither went to have some lunch then trained together. Xslither finally felt like he was making, well, friends. He could not help to think about Module and how it might have been his fault. Most of us imperial super commandos don't have a lot of experience in close combat but Module still risked his life for a mission. Xslither thought if he would ever get over it. He went to find his pretty much only friend until now who's name was Eden. He was a rather friendly guy and of course was happy to help me with whatever I needed. I asked him if he had ever lost somebody that was special but Eden did not seem to remember. He had been through a lot lately fighting in many battles and nearly always getting selected. Then finally Xslither remembered that he had picked up Modules gun. Xslither went back to zetas room and gave him the "gift" you could call it. Zeta almost cried and then thanked Xslither. For the first time Xslither saw zetas face or noticed it. He was only about 13. He must have been through tons and Xslither said bye and left. Outside the door another imperial super commando was waiting. All he said was "come" and Xslither followed. As they walked he said "I am Ender by the way".

[Ender]

Ender walked quickly as Xslither followed behind. He just hoped that this guy was no wimp. As long as he wasn’t, he could be friends. Hope, oh dear hope, the most powerful thing in the galaxy. Welp.

As they walked farther down and reached the training room, Ender said,
“Helmet off, now.” He ordered. This was just part of the test. While he looked stern, he has jumping inside. He dearly hoped that this would work.
“No.” Xslither simply responded.
“Why?” Asked Ender.
“Because it is not the way.” He Responds sternly. “Are you Mandolorian or just another skilled rich boy who made it past stormtrooper training?”
“I am a Mandolorian, and this was a test.” Ender cuts back. He’s pretty darn sure the others would have taken it well… personally.
“This is the way.” Xslither says.
“This is the way.” Ender responds calmly, however, he is jumping inside once again.

Once he returns to his quarters, he sits down and rests. Tomorrow will either be quick or short, depending on what happens.

 

[Xslither]

Xslither after the odd visit from Ender he only hoped he had made another friend. Ended seemed kinda bossy and Xslither did not take this personally but he did not just shake it off either. He could not fall asleep with so much to think about. What was going to happen next he thought. It was very late but he just wondered and wondered until bang! He opens the door and grabes his weapon. Outside zeta laid smack in the middle of the floor. He seemed to have fallen but he was barely breathing. Xslither freaked out what had happened.
Out of no where a bounty hunter pops up and fired. He misses and Xslither gets the chance and pulls his vibroblade. He misses as he struggles with close range combat. Then zeta out of no where gets Xslithers gun and shoots the bounty hunter. Xslither helps zeta up and security arrives. “Phew” Xslither sais. That was rather close. You good zeta. Yep fine he responds. Thanks for the help back there. No problem zeta sais. Ended comes rushing down the hall way what happened? He asked.

[Ender]

Ender stared at the destruction in the dorm. It was kind of interesting seeing the always perfect dormitory’s messed up. He stared at the bounty hunter, he couldn’t see the species under the mask.
“Why didn’t you sound the alarm?” Ender said.
“We didn’t have time.” Xslither said.
“That’s against protocol.” Ender reloads harshly.
“Would you rather have a bounty hunter running around here?” He cuts back.
Ender decides to stay silent. There was nothing he could say.
Zeta decides to break the silence.
“Well, we will have to explain to command what happened.”
They would have to. Otherwise things would happen… not good things of course.

The sun was rising and they had just talked to command. They believed them and dispatched some more units to guard the vents, so it wouldn’t happen again. Hopefully…
