SPECIAL FEATURES
- Advanced Inertial Dampners
- Sundrop Module
- Heavily Modified T-X7 Engine
- Fast as Spit
- Agile as a Corellian Sand Panther
- Sundrop Module
- Advanced Inertial Dampners lessen the strain of Sundrop and general use on the pilot
- Heavily modified engines and repulsorlift coils require complete focus on regulating the vehicle while driving
- Cramped: The Sunracer is more of an engine strapped to a chair with a pretty shell on top. The cockpit is cramped full of dials, switches, buttons, and nobs all meant to regulate some part of the car so it doesn't fall apart mid flight making it difficult to stay focused during a flight
- Sundrop Module: Single Use or Overuse could end up blowing the overpowered skycar to smithereens
- When Sundrop is used Maneuverability drops down to 0
- When Sundrop is used pilot may lose consciousness due to the force put on the pilot
- In the event of a crash it is possible that if any Sundrop is present on the speeder the entire ship could explode in a brilliant explosion
A labor of love, the Sunracer is Konan's baby, Constructed from a repainted K-Series Beta Skycar, nothing about the inside of the old skycar remains stock. The engine was removed and replaced with Daw Motors' T-X7, one of the fastest repulsorlift engines to come out of any manufacturer in the last decade. Most of its maneuvering flaps and navigational systems was replaced by the more comfortable and easy to fly Sand Panther from C.E.C., allowing the skycar to match the speed getting outputted by the T-X7. In fact, much of the internal frame was swapped out for the Sand Panther as it was generally more suited for racing. The shell of the Beta Skycar was then modified, cut, and repainted to fit the much larger engine and better racing frame. The cockpit was almost entirely gutted, save the plush bantha leather seats. Various switches, monitors, dials, sensors, and gauges were added to give the pilot an accurate reading of all his speeder's systems at any given moment. A sundrop module was also added so that use of the illegal enhancer could be utilized. This included a small case just next to the seat designed to keep the Sundrop safe. Most of the modifications were taken care of by Konan's close friend under the table, but some of the finer aesthetic details were handled entierly by Konan. Overall, it was one of the fastest skycars in the Outer Rim, and was often called a Swoop Car, a term coined in the Outer Rim to talk about incredibly fast, heavily modified land and airspeeders.
