The Three rules of the Chorus:
1. We are all brothers and sisters in the darkness.
2. All knowledge is sacred, no knowledge is forbidden
3. To be what eyes can't see, silence is key
This means OOC:
1. All groups that the chorus is composed of share the same rights and duties.
2. All knowledge is allowed in the chorus, no matter how corrupted and amoral it is. It is the only crime that is consequently punished in the chorus to destroy knowledge.
3. The chorus doesn't exist as far as the rest of the galaxy is concerned, and we should try to keep it that way (IC)
Lore
To long the darkness was shattered into a million small pieces, destined to struggle and fall under the strength of the united light. Now the time has come to make it whole again, we all that we serve the darkness. We might not agree in many things, but we all share one desire: Freedom, Freedom to practice what we believe in, Freedom to follow what we were called to do, without the jedi or other knights of the light crushing anything back into dust. We will hide in the shadows, we will work from where we stay unseen and we will do what has to be done to make sure to keep our orders and beliefs save and secure.
Knowledge is sacred, and it is our duty to keep it safe from those to fearful of what we know. To keep us and our knowledge safe, we have to work together with each other and other elements in the galaxy. While some might not agree, there are certain forces in the criminal underworld that share our desire for freedom, and that, like us, prefer in the shadows. These are the allies we seek, but the chorus is open to anyone worthy of our beliefs. Order, aliment and even their ability to sense the force are meaningless if they show to be an asset in our fight.

Structure:
High Command - The Circle of Shadows:
Being a member of the circle is not a position given, it is a position earned. To ascend one has to either be called into service by the the current members of the circle, or when the rest of the chorus demands it.
Rest:
Being a member of the chorus itself is not a choice given to anyone. The chorus is a secret whispered by its members into the ears of those they deemed worthy of joining. A member doesn't have to recall his current alliances, as long as there is no conflict with the Chorus. While the Chorus offers his own small witch circles, sith order and dark jedi order, it is highly encouraged by the Circle of shadows to be part of similar groups that don't belong to the Chorus.
How we operate:
So we are not a army, not an empire or any form of state of governing body at all. We are an organization that lives in the shadows, hidden form curious eyes that could interfere with our doings, hidden from the forces of light dedicated to hunt those sworn to the darkness. OOC this means that dominions will often involve infiltration to replace or manipulate exiting governments to rule without being noticed by outside forces. This can be accomplished by a number of different things, like bribing to threats, or by helping rebel forces in a system to rise up and size control. Think the CIA only in the star wars universe. Also something we will do is using large scale rituals with the combined strength of the darksiders in the fight for galactic control.
We also encourage criminal elements on our worlds, as direct means of civil control. This can be either members of the chorus our outside forces.
